The second one was poured last week (different and larger garage). The crew showed up when they said they would, ground off high spots and filled cracks, applied several layers including the color coat and a vapor barrier, and were finished by about 2 PM. OGS was fantastic! The entire process was very streamlined and took a total of two weeks, start to finish. Within one week of contacting OGS, a sales rep came to my house and took measurements and presented me with several options/solutions. A day later, I received estimates and renderings. One week later, the garage was completed. I had my cement floor finished in an epoxy coating and a slat system installed across the back wall with hooks and shelves. I also had a rack installed to hang rakes and other tools. The sales rep was very professional and friendly, incredibly responsive, and respectful of my time. Very happy with the result! Jay and Vanessa came to our house for an estimate and gave good suggestions on what we can do to optimize wall space in our garage. Vanessa sent over 3D drawings and quotes. They were able to find me a Saturday appointment. Frank was my installer. He was easy to work with and did a great job! We opted for the monkey bar shelf solution with 12 ft shelves on top (24" deep) and bars and hooks underneath. Simple but really served our needs. We checked online for different shelving options (including overhead garage shelves from Costco and comparative open shelves from Lowes). Although the price tag was more than what I originally wanted to pay for a garage storage solution, we ultimately felt the investment was worth the peace of mind, safety, better material, and convenience of having a professional installer. It is bright and smooth, with just enough roughness to help prevent slips. And it's going to be so easy to keep clean. Dustin and Hector took extra care in its installation; e.g., extra concrete prep for cracks, taping off the kitchen door so no dust came inside, and more. When they left, other than the floor, there was nothing to know they had been there - spotless. The cabinets were made to exact measurement requirements, the material is strong and feels substantial. The hinges and drawers function smoothly. Varand and Victor were perfectionists in their installation, ensuring every piece was perfectly level, secure, and no screw was exposed (even ones against a wall that would never be seen). It ended up I had a gas valve in the way that I didn't think was where it was, and they kindly discussed options and worked extra to accommodate the pipe. They, too, left the garage and new cabinets spotless. Jay worked with me on the order, and I admit (a bit embarrassingly), I changed my mind on cabinet measurements a few times. Jay was patient making the changes in the drawings and pricing and showed nothing but patience with me. About six months ago, I saw two workmen applying an epoxy-looking material to a garage floor while taking my daily walk. I stopped to speak to them, and they were both very enthusiastic about their work. I told them I had a few questions but did not want to bother them at the beginning of their work day and explained that I live down the street about a dozen houses. I requested they stop over at the end of the day to talk to me. Honestly, I did not expect them to show up. If they are just workers for a large business, what would be their incentive to take their time to answer my questions? That was not the case. Dustin and Victor showed up at my door at the end of the day and handed me a brochure describing the company. They explained the type of material used on their garage floors and showed me a color chart. A few months later, I moved to a different location about 3 miles away, and I thought about them. I called one of the company representatives named Kevin, and he gave me a reasonable price quote. It was not the lowest quote that I had, but he was more professional than my other quotes. I was very surprised to hear that I would be getting Dustin and Victor to do the work on my garage. They arrived today at 7:30 AM, exactly the appointment time that I had requested. They were polite, professional, and clean. They were even open to my suggestion of slightly changing the specifications at the last minute. Long, long overdue review for Jay and his team at Organized Garage Solutions. We had a fantastic experience three years ago when we moved in to our new home in Santa Monica. Our garage, while new, lacked any practical storage. Jay and his team transformed the space in to the envy of the neighborhood. Admittedly I occasionally get some "grief" from the neighbors about how organized our garage is. We absolutely love it and it's one of the best investments we've made. Two years after we moved in we planned to have the garage floor resurfaced (by Organized Garage Solutions). Everything was set to go and we were just a few days from the install. Due to unforeseen circumstances we unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. I felt terrible and dreaded having to tell Jay that we were unable to move forward. Turns out Jay could not have been more understanding and he responded by saying "please don't worry about us -- we'll be here when you're ready -- in the meantime please take care of yourself and your family." I'm not making this up -- that's exactly what he said. Sometimes things just work out, flow, smooth sailing ya know not a mess ! these days feels like crappy service, bad communication are the norm, but that wasn't my experience with OGS !. My sales guy Devon was great, very patient, we went back and forth a number of times, he even came back to the house to go over stuff to make sure we had the right measurements and the right products. The Install went good as well, great guys, they know there stuff, they were also helpful to make sure I was happy and went over things with me to get the spacing and products correct. Keep in mind this isn't cheep, its an investment but the quality is excellent, also make sure you go over your measurements and products, it can be a little confusing.
