    Isobutane for camping stove!

Excellent customer service, from both the owner and the morning shift worker. The only little store in town, but great little spot for Redwood tree and Bigfoot souvenirs, camping groceries, essentials.

We vacation in the area every year and visit the Orick market at least once per trip. They have a good selection of toiletries, camping and fishing supplies, and boxed and canned foods. Staff is friendly and helpful. Glad they're in town. Edit: They remodeled in 2015 and now have a freezer section, refrigerated goods, and fresh produce.

    Same as Winco's garbage bundles

Price gouging. 3x list on some items. Shop before you get here, or go back to McKinleyville.

Definitely got a weird town vibe but it had the most selection of stuff anywhere around.

Outfitted extra well for camping supplies, fresh veggies and all sorts of groceries. They were open late as well.

Rogue Outdoor Sports…read more My group and I were visiting this part of California for a few days, and for one of these days we planned to go kayaking. The first time we came to Bob, we showed up at around 2pm, and he suggested we skip out on kayaking for the day and come back the morning of the next day, due to the pick up in wind in the afternoon. As an alternative, he also suggested we go to the Trees of Mystery. After some conversation with my group, we decided we'll take up his suggestion, and thank goodness we did! We left to Trees of Mystery (which was a blast by the way) and came back the next day to go kayaking at 10am, as opposed to 2pm. Toward the end of the river journey in the afternoon, the wind became brutal to paddle against; precisely as Bob had suggested the day before. He is a straightforward and honest salesman, and just wants you to have the best experience possible. Curtis was also extremely helpful with anything we needed!

Once we arrived at the site (From 18151 US Highway 101 take the 169 exit just north of the bridge called camper corral) Bob greeted us warmly. He provided us with life vests and a double kayak (singles also available!) and drove us to a drop off point a few miles up the river. We had a very enjoyable ride down the river for a few hours and then were able to call Bob through the walkie talkies he provided and he met us at the pickup location and drove us back to our car on his property. Highly recommend renting through Bob if you are looking for a fun adventure near the Redwoods!
