I've had a lot of muscle pain as of late, so I needed a good work over. Well, I got worked over. The only con I have is that the hot stone part was done with as much vigor as the rest of the massage. I was hoping it would have been a little longer and a bit more gentle. I felt as though I didn't get the full effect of the hot stones because that part was done so quickly. I'll definitely come back when I need a vigorous massage but I wouldn't make this a weekly or monthly event. Given how deep tissue these massages are, one every few months will do.

This is definitely a traditional Chinese massage place - my masseuse could barely speak English, but thankfully I can speak a tiny bit of Chinese, so it worked out great. While the ambience isn't ideal (e.g., sketchy, not spa like), the deep pressure and reflexology was great. So, don't be too scared of the outside appearance, go with a friend, and overall, it was worth the back beatup massage (the way I like it!).

I have enjoyed a 60 minute massage when time was limited, but getting a 90 minute massage is where the MAGIC happens! While it's always nice to chat with Melanie while she works, the best conversation is the one she has with my sore muscles when she has the time to very finely tune in to the tissue she is working with. Her work is an incredible value! I haven't been to her newest studio yet, but the Seabright location is centrally located with easy street parking. Melanie is often available on nights and weekends, sometimes scheduling during the day can be a little trickier. For a very small fee Melanie can come to your location as well, which would be helpful for those with restricted schedules.

We got a 90 minute Swedish massage. I did tell Cindy I was having Sciatic pain, she was gentle and very thorough. She massaged my pain away and she also got out the tension I have had on my shoulders for so long.
