I feel at home... especially without my winter shoes... Can I take off my sweater too and be in my Lululemon outfit? Tea selections are based on aroma (starting from $4.30 a pot)? flowery...fruity... All my guess since the menu are in French only... Just pick a number.. tea by number...any number... I just want to chill Services are slow or non existence? Some friends visiting Montreal wanted to stop by a Hookah lounge in Plateau before our night out! Found this place on Yelp, and we decided to check it out. It's a cute spot for Tea & Hookah with a laidback vibe. The interior and decor is inspired by varying cultures, in an effort to cater to a diverse crowd and clientele. I don't smoke Sheesha but our friends were pretty satisfied by the experience and liked the flavours they picked. The tea we ordered was good as well. Our server seemed moody like she was having a bad day but we are all allowed those so it's alright. Overall we had a good experience and will definitely be stopping by again when someone is in the mood for Hookah! read more

I am a huge tea lover so always on the lookout for a great teahouse! I recently visited Orienthe with some friends and absolutely fell in love with the place. I love the concept of removing your shoes at the entrance which really gave the space a homely, chilled-out feeling! The interior is quite asian (red and black theme) with some Arabian decor which confused me a little... The seating is comfy and cosy, you could easily sit there for hours and feel very zen! We had booked the private room at the back where you sit on the floor with nice cushions and a sort of tent hanging above you. I found it very comfortable! We ordered the Amande tea, Moroccan tea and turkey sandwiches. Teas were excellent and served in gorgeous teapots but the sandwich was quite a let down as it was very simple and thrown together in a ciabatta bread. As a fan of asian tea and chilling with friends, can't say that I'm a fan of this place. Their teas were good, but lacked the rich scent. The place itself consisted of sofas leaned against the wall and you're seated in a very awkward position to talk to others. read more

I remember taking my shoes off. I haven't been to many Tea Lounges that allow me. I've walked all-day all-afternoon so I was hesitant as ladies inside could be poisoned. I guess everyone inside is so laidback in chillaxin' mode that no one cares. It is an Orient-theme oasis to get-away from my Euro theme Montreal get-away. I wish there was enough pillows for a professional lounger/napper like myself. This tea house has a really chill, southeast Asia vibe with really amazing tea. I came in on a hot day and had some peach-mango iced tea, and it was really refreshing. They have a huge selection of teas as well as snacks. You can also enjoy a hookah with flavored tobacco if that's your thing. They also have free WiFi, which came in handy. Since it's underground, I think this place suffers from a lack of business, and it's also a little pricey for tea. It's definitely a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere though and a cool place to go with friends. read more

After visiting this place for the first time it will definitely be my last one. I went for the hookah and the lady told me that the shisha is only outside no problem so i went outside and waited for the menu.... After 10 min of waiting she brought the menu even though they were only 3 customer in the store. 15 min later she bought me my shisha and my drink WOW! I have no clue what she has been doing the whole time but wow i was very amazed by how long it took her. I didn't complaint simply because i was there to relax and i was in no hurry to go but 25 min just to get the order it pretty long... I'm usually a very easy going customer and i really don't like to complain simply because i have been working in restaurant for a few years and i know how sometime customer can be a pain in the ass. Anyways when she brought me the shisha it tasted like crap and for some reason it was so hard to pump up the flavor. I asked her if it was possible to change it because its so hard. She tried it and in front of me and notice that it was indeed broken... Aren't they suppose to check before giving it to the client? 10 min later she brought me another one and the same story went. At this point i was just pissed off so i pay her for the shisha that i didnt even enjoy and left. What a waste of time. Great chill vibe and tea selection. There's a kind of hidden room in the back that's dark with pillows on the floor where you have to take off your shoes. Very relaxing and nice for groups. Can't comment on the shisha or food (although their food selection is very small---come here for tea, not dinner) as we didn't try any. read more

I would like to start by saying If I could give less than 1 star I would. After walking into the empty tea house I was peered at aggressively by the angry man that worked there. Me and friend at first thought nothing of it and moved towards an uncomfortable pillow area on the floor. We waited looking for a menu or paper or anything for that matter. Looking back at the desk we saw the man was yelling at someone on the phone. We began to feel uncomfortable and decided it was best to leave. As we walked out of the shop the man hung up the phone and yelled a very degrading thing to my friend and I. Astonished we had explained our situation and he proceeded to swear and yell at us. I was shocked how unsafe I felt in a place that was reviewed as something warm and comforting. This man had ruined what should of been a calm and relaxing experience for my friend and I. I have never written a yelp review before but after this experience I felt something needed to be said. I cannot comment on the tea because I did not have a chance to drink it . That being said ,to honest I would rather drink an ok cup of tea in a safe and inviting place than anything with a man who threatens women alone in a place of business. read more
