I'd highly recommend making an appointment in advance especially on weekends since they're only open 10 - Noon. I made an appointment for the following Saturday with Erika and it was cut short due to a glitch in the system. My profile was flagged and I could not finish registration until a manager could verify and approve my application. Through the process, Erika was very communicative and reassuring. She also followed up with me today, as promised and my account set up is underway. Although, I ran into some difficulties and delays, I can confidently say that the customer service is awesome and the team is inviting.

Additionally, to the left of the Café, you'll discover several, Private Nooks, for your convenience. Additionally, conference-sized table with eight chairs. You can expect more seating. Five round tables with twelve chairs. And can't forget, more seating options to the right of the Café. One large comfortable bench sofa with three tables and six chairs. The counter where you place your order looks bright, clean with a touch of modern design. I ordered a small coffee. It was bold and flavorful. However, the taste was obvious it wasn't grinned fresh, since they pre-grind coffee for mass consumption. The small coffee does seem to be smaller than 12oz. Without a member discount, expect to pay $4+. The do offer, All-Day food menu. Otherwise, I would recommend stopping by here. It appears to.most to be a…read moresmall bank, but the dedicated people who work there from receptionists/customer service representatists to tellers, to bank managers to personnel in the mortgage department all treat customers with the utmost respect and concern over their banking needs; better service than many large banking institutes. Amegy is always looking out over customer accounts to ensure no fraud is taking place. They have called us no less than 5 times in the last year to ensure charges were indeed ours and actually have caught several charges that were not ours by tracking activity. I know many don't care for that; we on the otherhand do and appreciate it very much. I wouldn't ever think of changing banks.

Apparently account numbers took a while to get issued and the computers were not yet changed over. This bank has been done to the point that it is no better than having a piggy bank on the counter in the kitchen. Today I close and I'm transferring everything over to Chase right across the street. Heres the recipe for losing a 20 year…read morecustomer: 1) Close the bank branch on Saturdays 2) Switch all BBVA account numbers so that you have to update all of your direct deposits and redo all your checks and auto pays 3) Make the customer fill out their own ACH change request forms for the new account (Chase Bankers do this for you, BTW) 4) Remove the ability to deposit checks with your your phone 5) Remove deposit and withdrawal slips from the lobby (don't want anyone getting a head start!) 6) Hold checks for 3 days before clearing them. 7) Take 45 minutes to make a withdrawal or close an account 8) Make sure the ATM doesn't recognize checks for deposit, so you're forced to come back on Monday amd spend another 45 minutes with the teller. 9) Make sure the CEO doesn't respond to you when you send a letter to corporate explaining why your closing your account. Other than this, they've been super to work with. /s
