I can't speak any more highly of the experience I had here at the ChopShop. As a brand-spanking-new Texan, I'm trying to get out and explore the DFW area, specifically food options. The first thing I noticed, aside from the extensive menu, was how clean the place is! At most healthier options, my picky 6yo will not eat but that wasn't an issue here! He enjoyed his ham and cheese sandwich and fruit and I enjoyed the spicy Korean steak bowl and a lemonade. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. Giving 4stars because they forgot my açaí bowl during delivery , but it's definitely 5star quality. (And yes, I got my bowl now) I'm traveling through Texas on my way to Hawaii and it can be difficult for me to find healthy gluten free options as well as staying under budget. quite possible the worst delivery service I've ever had. Driver can't follow simple directions or be bothered to get out of his car. He left with my food, returning an hour later with food that was absolutely terrible. I just threw it out. Will not be wasting my money here again, that's for sure. I pass through here quite often and would never paid this little gem hidden behind the gas station any attention lol. I ordered the Chili Lime Shrimp protein bowl which will run you about $12...thought it was small looks are deceiving cause it was very filling! I'm excited to try the rest of the menu. If you're looking for healthy food then this is the place. It is casual where you place your order at the counter, get a number and they bring the food to your table when it is ready. We came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The place wasn't crowded but was disappointed to find out that they had already ran out of brown rice. How could that happened so early in the day? Anyway, we had quinoa instead. There is also a black wild rice option but none of us chose that. The food was good. My vegan daughter had ordered the green tofu curry but she said that she couldn't tell where the curry is. She still liked it. I ordered the Korean steak bowl. I liked mine too. We would come back. There aren't that many options with for vegans so it is now on our list of go to places. read more

We were originally going to the Biscuit Bar to only find out they were close but we look to surrounding areas to find The original chop house had 4.5 stars when it should honestly have five. Yum! My husband and I have been waiting for this Phoenix-based restaurant to open for a couple of months now. We were certainly not disappointed! The menu is large, but easy to understand and has great options. We tried two of the protein bowls - the Korean steak and the sesame steak. Both were very tasty! Ah reminded my of the places in California! I was greeted as I was walking in by one of the owners which was a great surprise. He gave me a run down of the menu which was awesome! I tried the Danish Salad and the Slim Squeeze juice! I definitely recommend both! I'm not sure if they had different sizes for the salad but I would definitely want a bigger one next time. The service was great here! My wife and I had the Thai Chicken Bowl and Spicy Korean Bowl. The food came out fast and fresh. The Korean bowl had the right amount of spice...at least for me. But you can definitely turn it up a notch by adding some Sriracha sauce which is available near the drink station. read more

The service is above and beyond. I am gluten free and the manager kindly stepped in to help. I had a bunch of substitutions and they were able to accommodate, which I genuinely appreciated. I got both a protein bowl and the protein drink - which was a mistake Bc the shake is huge and it was way too much food. The shakes could be a meal unto themselves. The shake was decent. The chicken and substitute green curry sauce was good. The quinoa I was hoping for a little more depth of flavor. It was good and I would eat it again, I just think I'm more partial to quinoa cooked in chicken broth? I don't know. It was still good just not my fave quinoa. Please stop over-blending the pitaya bowl!!! I order them here during the work week since there is not a Nektar store nearby. Previous times I have ordered the pitaya bowl, the consistency has been "okay" - I understand if I order on the phone, then drive to pick up my order, and drive back to work, the mixture will have melted a little by the time I get to my desk. I was pretty disappointed. The place is very cute but the food was disappointing. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with jeweled rice and small side salad. The salad was $3 and consisted of about 1/2 cup of old lettuce and one cherry tomato cut in half. The teriyaki bowl was over sauced with over cooked vegetables and too much salt.
