My friends and I were in town for the weekend and stopped here for lunch. You get a ton of food for your money! And FRESH at that! We wanted to try everything lol, but couldn't. We left full and satiated!

Ordered a few small items via uber eats and here's everything I had : 1) hummus w onions and mushrooms - not bad at all. The combination worked well (3.7/5) 2) fried kibbeh - pretty good . The accompanying tahini sauce was a great addition (3.6/5) 3) pita filled w beef meat - the weakest one out of all the items . (2.6/5) 4) spanakopita- pretty good all together . (3.5/5) 5) gyro meat - lamb meat was not bad all. Garlic sauce was also awesome . (3,7/5)

Man, I love this place! I am so thankful for every opportunity to venture to Andalous. The food is absolutely next level! It is hard to deviate from the Andalous Chicken and spicy hummus, not to mention the freshly baked pita bread service. The restaurant is always clean and a very welcoming place for lunch.

Our regular lunch spot with colleagues. My colleague recommended their beef stew and I can never get enough of it. Their spicy hummus is the best, although the beet salad was pretty meh!

I loved this place! Love the concept, the service and food! In particularly the food, fresh, amazingly tasty, large portions, great experience! The restaurant is casual with semi-self-serving; you select your choice of meal at the entrance, salad, sandwich or platter. The platter comes with choice of 1 meat and up to 4 sides. Their prices are affordable, $10.99 to $18.99. As you enter, you encounter the menu printed in large, colorful print on the wall; the flow of the restaurant is circular counter with the fresh pita bread being the second encounter here. At this point, I am 100% hooked! If you look towards the back of the fresh pita offerings. you can see the oven where these magnificent breads are being baked! Oh my! What a perk! All platters, come with 2 pita breads! As you proceed down the counter, you can see the appetizer section, followed by the side choices, and finally the meat selection choices. Almost at the payment section at the end, there are some desserts and freshly baked offerings. The whole place was like a candy store but with delicious Mediterranee food! Amazing! You give your meal selections to the server, who will place the side dishes together on your plate, while the meat is served separately. This particular evening, I chose 1 meat platter with 4 sides! What can I say... I wanted to try it all in one sitting! My platter consisted of hummus, falafel salad, crisp cauliflower, rice, and chicken. I loved it! The portion for me was enough for 2 meals. I had leftovers for the next day! Loved Andalous Mediterranean Grill!

    Broiled Lamb Shank beautifully prepared!!!

Great Saturday Evening food ... My wife and I enjoyed the service and nice dinning experience!! I'm bringing my two sons next time for this high plate of delicious food. Thank you Andalous and staff ... ! I will drive from Grand Prairie for this any weekend!

Love this spot for a quick Mediterranean fix. The falafel is crispy and the garlic sauce is addicting. Prices are fair for what you get

I ordered the Chicken TAwook plate with fries and tabouleh. It was divine. I love that it came with garlic sauce. That's actually why I ordered it. I was impressed with how my fries remained crispy even though they didn't make any steam holes. The tabouleh was so fresh and the rice was perfectly cooked. The star of my plate was of course the chicken; there was a lot of it. Large chunks that were perfectly grilled and they weren't dry. My husband ordered the Kafka Beef Plate with tabouleh and hummus. I hate that I had to remove a star but he said his hummus was "runny and watery". I was having too much fun with my food to investigate, but I'm going to take his word for it. I'm picky with hummus so I don't normally order it from random places. He'll learn someday. He also didn't like a spice that was in the Kafta. It was probably nutmeg or cumin or a combination of both. I also have learned my lesson with Mediterranean cuisine that I'm unfamiliar with. I don't like cinnamon or those pumpkin pie variety of spices in my meat so I never order anything that's beef or lamb. In their defense, I bet the meat was delicious if you like those spices. I wish they had included ketchup for my fries. I'd order from here again.

The staff was very friendly. The chicken shawarma sandwich was excellent, and the fries were perfectly cooked. We also couldn't resist the baklava, which tasted wonderfully authentic and was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. For dessert, we tried the Baklava Sundae; chef's kiss. I'm not sure what kind of ice cream flavor it was (did not taste like pistachio), but it was amazing. So of course, opened the Yelp app and once again the Yelpers didn't steer us wrong. Went for lunch and had the buffet to try a little of everything. There was plenty of variety and it was all fresh and hot. Have eaten at some buffets and the gyro meat is thin and dry but not at Al Wadis. Have a good dessert selection as well. Rice pudding was awesome and some of best I have had. Of course had some baklava and if the apple cake is out give it a try. If in the area I would not be afraid to go to Al Wadi's. Apparently lots of others love it too since the place was packed for the lunch buffet and many others picking up take out orders. If didn't live over an hour away I'd be here at least once a week.

It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.
