It's a nice spot, the service was great. The staff that we felt with were very friendly. Nice atmosphere. The food was good... just good. We probably won't return. Takeout was cold, basically inedible. Husband waited over an hour with the servers avoiding him and providing no updates. Seems like food was sitting for a long time. It was busy so I can understand if the kitchen was backed up but it seemed like more of an expediting issue by the servers. read more

So we went to digital joes chilliwack today and we ordered the red wine sangria for two. The menu said min 3 ppl and then the waitress came back and said it had to be a min 4 ppl! I call bull sh*t. So overpriced!! Two fish tacos were $15.75!!! Fries came out cold and very overcooked. Sent them back and they came back warm but still overcooked! The shrimp rice bowl had too much sauce, yuk. Wont go back. The food world has got so greedy! read more

Went here for my work christmas party. The setting is more bar then restuarant. The nacho are great with the pull pork, but the wing fall short of anything good. I order industry hot witch was suppose to be there hottest. It like eating plain fry wings. Had zero heat and was very plain. I also got the ribs and they where ok. Not fall of the bone great but ok. I went here for the first time with friends on a Monday. I liked the variety I saw on the menu, and ordered the Thai chicken bites. My friends got the wings on special, and they were delicious as well. What really impressed me though was the managers knowledge of the food. My friend had a concern about one item. The manager cheerfully and quickly assisted to set the matter straight. He found the issue, corrected it, and spoke to my friend in the most respectful and, may I say, humble way. I can say that his level of customer service befits a fine dining establishment. Such a great experience. I'm looking forward to digging into more menu items in our visits to come! read more

A+...mazing service, food not so much. First time I've been to OJ's but I think I might give em another chance. Went with a few friends who are locals in Chilliwack and swear by this place for pre game munchies. Ended up ordering about half of the appetizers because we couldn't just pick one! Took almost 45 minutes for food to come out and when it did half of our food was cold, we ate most of it because we were starved but had asked to have the wings re done because cold wings just ain't a thing. Came back super fast and looked as if they were just dropped back in the fryer. Took my girlfriend and brother here before a movie. The service wasn't the worst but not very good. My diet coke tasted like mold. When told the server about and manager, they said that they know it tastes like that yet they serve it anyways. Girlfriend nearly choked on a chicken bone in their COLD nachos. Salt & Pepper wings were tossed in fine grind salt & pepper. I've never heard of such blasphemy. When the manager Vanessa came and talked to us she didn't introduce her self by name or position, she just came and started talking and I had to ask who she was. My husband had the short ribs which were very dry and over cooked. I tried the fish tacos which were OK, but could have had a bit more zing, also the taco chips which came with the fish tacos were not freshly made, but just out of a bag. I ordered The Kona burger sub chicken, no cheese. When I got it, there was cheese on it. The server brought it back to the kitchen and when I got it back, they hadn't scraped all the cheese off. (I could have done that myself!) My stepson and step daughter had both ordered pasta dishes and they didn't come with any bread. Won't go back until they get a Ball Room for all of the kids they let run around the place. Last two visits were ruined by it, It was a real distraction for the four of us. If I want to be subjected to that I'll hit a Chucky Cheese. Too bad as the food & wait staff were great. The first time I chalked it up to a one off, but the next time it was even a bigger gong show and realized this is how the Management rolls. If you have a pulse we'll serve ya. The food has always been great at Original Joe's. A bonus is that it is right next to the movie theater. The portions are very large and packed with lots of flavor. However, I don't know what's going on with their pop but it tastes moldy. Possibly they need to clean their lines better. read more

Was at OJ's Good Friday yesterday. What a disappointment!! I live in Vancouver and eat at the Resturant at least 6 times a year with my daughter, son-in-law and 6 year old granddaughter. We arrived around 12:30 and only waited a few minutes. Our server was courteous and said they were a little behind. That was my first clue....anyway, it took 1 1/2 hrs before we got our food. We had numerous explanations that they were short staffed but others around us were being served. We asked our server once I got the bill and she advised they do not follow first order in, first out as it becomes random. Next, I asked for a discount and after paying $ 75.16 with a tip of 15 percent for the server because it was not her fault I got a $ 6.00 discount. Get it right OJ's, I will not be back!! Short staff for whatever reason is not unusual in the Resturant business, advise people you are behind at the door before sitting them down with an estimated time, deliver the orders in a reasonable priority manner and recognize when there are younger children they need to eat before the adults. Our server did that after 70 mins and I recognized that in her gratuity. Get it together OJ's as there are a number of good restaurants in the area that do get it right!! read more

the restaurant is nothing to brag about, we stopped in for a late lunch today and immediately i was a little taken aback by the waitress yelling across the restaurant for us to sit wherever we like, we sat down and ordered a drink then ordered some appys and a lunch entree the food was absolutely terrible spinach dip was only heated on the top the centre was ice cold and the calamari was still a little frozen in the centre my wrap that i had only hat turkey at the top... and to top it all off the server took about half an hour too bring us the cheque. i doubt that i will ever be going to another original joes again. read more
