I was put in charge of getting the catering together for my friend's wedding this past February and was completely clueless. After calling what felt like an endless amount of places, the moment I spoke with the Original Kabob Factory's team, I immediately knew I was in good hands. The first representative I spoke with was very informative and passed along my information to Nick, who specializes in event affairs. Nick's communication with me was seamless from start to finish, and the whole process was made incredibly simple. We had a few calls discussing what food would be needed and what packages were available and I was able to place the full order through the website. Food delivery service on the day of the wedding was excellent. Nick hand delivered us our order, which sufficed 60+ guests, and it all arrived hot and perfectly packaged. He provided head to toe descriptions of all the food that was included in the package and there were no errors. Nick is a saint! Everyone at the wedding devoured the food. I grabbed my plate towards the end of the night, and even though the plate was cold (an error on my part for waiting so long), I went back for thirds. Rich taste and simply delicious. Unfortunately they use MSG flavor enhancer in their kabab which makes it very tasty but not normal. On the other hand there's always something missing in the order. I paid for an extra tomato which wasn't there. An order of tzatziki which was missing. read more

This was a nice casual spot with a few lung picnic tables inside and out. It was empty when I showed up on a Thursday for lunch. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and explained everything to me letting me know that the louleh was the most popular order so I went with that. I got the magic louleh plate which includes one beef and one chicken louleh. I had never had a chicken one before so was excited to try it. Both were very flavorful. Ordered for pickup on a Saturday night and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered two plates one beef louleh and one chicken louleh. Both the chicken and beef louleh were delicious. They were packed with aromatics and the flavor was very good. The rice was just okay, it was plain basmati rice. The side of red onion with spices was also just okay. I really wish it was a salad or hummus. They do have sides which we did purchase a side of hummus, but unfortunately after 2 days the texture and acidity changed. read more

I used the Original Kabob factory for a large end of year holiday party for work (80-100 people) and the food was DELICIOUS. Last year one of the biggest pieces of feedback we got was that we needed to up the game food-wise and I'm so incredibly happy we chose this place. So many people came up to me during the party telling me how delicious everything was! Not just that, but Nick Mouradian was legitimately so easy to work with - giving me different easy to understand quotes, was available at any time of day (I work nights so typically hard to get a hold of me during normal hours) and hand delivered and set it all up. What a great place! I was passing through Glendale and Original Kabob Factory has been on my list forever and finally decided to give this place a try. When you walk in, there is a display case of the meats and sides. You order the meats and sides by pounds. They recommend that you order 1 pound per person. They will cook it for you, but if you do not want to have it cooked, it is $1 less per pound. I opted for chicken kabob and beef luleh for the protein, then ordered a bunch of sides (lol). Food came out in about 15 minutes. If you are in a rush, I would recommend calling beforehand. There are tables in the restaurant, but I opted for take out since I was just passing through. As for the food itself, the meats were pretty good! The portions were generous for the price. For the sides, I ordered rice, which was probably the least favorite for me because it was a little bland and few dip (hummus was my favorite). Once they significantly downsized their kabob plate portions in 2021, my husband and I stopped coming here and tried so many other kabob places, but nothing compared to OKF. We decided to give it a try again a couple months ago (and again earlier this week) and were pleasantly surprised to see they a. have a new location and b. have better portions again. Truly, they have the best seasoning on both their beef and chicken, they have the best rice, and best lavash and peppers.
