I found street parking for this location. The parking lot directly behind this place does not allow parking for Brick and Flour. The door said PULL, but it went the other direction instead and the person who was behind the door pulled towards them as we were entering the establishment. You order the food first and they will call your name when the order is ready. As we were waiting for our food, there was a lot of wind coming from the open door. I tried to close the door to stay warm, but I think the door was broken because it wouldn't remain closed. Also, as we were waiting, we noticed bugs flying in from the door and going to the window (saw a big mosquito in front of where I was and some little gnats of some sort). Due to the door remaining opened, I was really cold and couldn't be comfortable. Even another lady sitting next to us tried shutting it, couldn't do it, so she moved to another spot while waiting for her food. There really wasn't any tables for you to enjoy your food. We went there hoping to eat there and celebrate a birthday. There were a few counter spots with chairs, that maybe 10 people at most can sit and eat. I feel like the spots that were available are meant for people to sit and wait for their food to be ready and takeaway. I don't consider this place as a sit down restaurant. They do have some room in the front that they can add a few tables and chairs for guests to sit down and eat. Their food was a little pricy for what it was. However, the quesadilla that I ordered wasn't bad for the size I got. They have a regular size and a large size for the nachos/fries. It is definitely sharable with friends! It was more Americanized than we hoped for. The Pastor didn't taste like authentic Mexican flavors. But the food overall, wasn't bad. It also comes with spicy and mild salsa. The carne asada fries were my favorite. The carne asada was well seasoned, and the fries were still hot and fresh. The guac and the pico all balanced well with the fries and carne. Would say this is a must order. The elote was decent and was seasoned well but unfortunately the corn itself wasn't sweet. The store itself is on the smaller side. There is parking in the back lot and also on the street. As the restaurant describes itself, they do not focus on traditional Mexican food and is executed in Tex Mex style. It is a hole in the wall, so the space is very small with very limited seating. On the day of the visit, it was slightly uncomfortable too as the door was broken and thus was constantly propped open, making the interior rather cold on a winter LA night. That was probably the biggest downside and the staff did not want to close the door. Brick and Flour has one of the best Carne Asada fries I've ever had. I had seen them on an Instagram post somewhere and I had to make sure that I stopped in to check it out. I do work in Glendale on occasion so I made sure I stopped in. I would pass by this restaurant all the time but didn't know this place existed. The restaurant itself isn't huge. But there are a couple tables if you do want to dine in. The staff here has always been very good at taking our order and then everything else is made to order so there's a slight way but your food comes out shortly after. They do have a big menu board that hangs on the back and you're able to see how much everything is. If you don't want to wait make sure to order online directly or through a food ordering site. I always get the sidewinder fries so it's a mix of curly and wedge fries. Definitely ask for salsa so you're able to get more of a salty taste if that's what your preference is. Parking is always been a little tricky for me. I think there is a lot in the back. But I usually find some street parking when available. read more

4 stars for the burritos. 2 stars for the service. We realized they forgot our order after we saw several others who came after us eating their orders first. Finally they asked what our order was, and then quickly prepared it. We had already waited about 15 minutes by that point for a burrito. The burrito itself was really good. Not the best I've had even in Santa Clarita, but not bad by any standard. If it weren't for the poor service, we would've come back. Besides the service, the other negatives were that the price is quite higher than some other burritos we've had, but the burritos themselves aren't exceptionally better. We think they should price these at around $9, not $14. There's also a 5% "service charge" which does nothing at all, except taking more of our money. There are no signs posted about this extra 5% service fee, not even at the register. We only found out after checking our receipt and seeing we were charged extra for absolutely nothing. Very scammy if you ask me. If you need more money, raise your prices - we were tricked, and won't be going back. read more

I spoke to the Manager under the name Bryan and he was the rudest person I had talked to. I asked to remake my whole order due to the fact that when I got home, everything was cold and incomplete. The Manager stated that he was gonna just make one item. And that was the only option I had. He did say look man. That's the only option you have take it or leave it. He has no Customer Service experience. Neither good morals. He was rude, unprofessional, and he does not know how to treat a customer. I am very disappointed with the service. Paired with their salsa verde, it was next level. Nothing was dry, nothing was overly salty just right. Every bite was juicy, mouth-watering, and savory. The meat wasn't burned at all and had so much flavor without being portions being overpowering. You can really taste the quality. The fresh tortilla sealed the deal for me I love when a burrito is made right from the start that flour taste . I found Brick & Flour on Instagram and had been meaning to try it for a while, and it completely blew my mind and my expectations. The portions were solid and actually filling, and everything tasted fresh, like it was made with care and not rushed. On top of the food, the place has a great vibe beautiful artwork, a welcoming ambiance, and just an overall cool atmosphere. The lady at the register was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and the service was excellent from start to finish. If you want a quick bite that fully satisfies both your taste buds and your stomach, this is the place. This is the kind of spot you think about later and start craving again. Fish taco was solid too. I've had better fish tacos but by no means was it bad. Carne asada fries were solid too. Good mix of meat, fries, pico de gallo, and guacamole. I do think it is a little pricey but I didn't mind since ingredients tasted fresh. I don't mind paying more as long as the freshness of the ingredients justify that price and I got the sense that this place tries to use fresh ingredients. My wife and I recently bought burritos at Brick and Flour like before, but this time I got cracked tooth. I had bitten into a rock. I brought it back and said I cracked my tooth where the employee stated "it must have been the beans". I asked for the manager to call me as was only looking for reimbursement for the tooth repair. Went back two more times with my bill from the dentist and not one call from the management. In addition, they didn't offer a replacement or refund for the burrito. I went to my dentist and she said that I was the second person from them with a broken tooth. We ordered the large beer battered carne asada fries based on the good reviews for pick up and the service was professional and kind. It is so good!
