There always significant amount of cars parked in the parking lot and I finally got to experience a breakfast here. Be prepared to wait long lines for seating some of the entrées take significantly long. When I ordered the Apple pancake I thought it would take no more than 30 minutes however it really did take the full 45 minutes. It was worth it but my wife who ordered the omelette ended up starving while she was waiting. The Apple pancake is a German pancake flip upside down coated with Apple slices and cinnamon. We arrived 20 minutes before it opened and found one other car already waiting for it to open. By the time it opened we were over 50 deep. People *love* this place. On the weekend, you're going to be waiting at least 40 minutes no matter what time you get there. As far as classic breakfast food goes, you can't beat it. There is a huge variety of pancakes, waffles, omelettes, and other things. They even have some exotic treats like the apple pancake, which is this massive, sweet confection filled with baked apples, cinnamon, and butter. The downside: it's remarkably expensive. An order of pancakes is reasonable, but once you start adding on an egg or toast or bacon or orange juice, you'll find your meal costing $15-20 not counting tax or tip. Unless you're just ordering a grapefruit, be prepared to spend a lot of money. The other downside is that most of the entrees are in the 2000+ calorie range.* I realize that if you want to eat healthy, you don't go to a pancake house like this. At the same time, if you eat your entire serving (not counting sides of eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.), you'll consume more than a day's worth of calories in a single sitting. Suffice it to say, this is not a place to eat if you're trying to eat in moderation. This is a place to go if you want high quality breakfast food topped with fruits or sugary syrups or chocolate chips and whipped cream. I don't even like breakfast food much, but this stuff is great. I've been coming to OPH for decades! When my kids come home for a visit, they always want to eat here at least once during their visit. My family and I drove down to Champaign on our way to Florida. I had never been to this place, though they have quite a few locations in Illinois. We had to wait for nearly 20 minutes for our table.
