I don't think this entity is in business. I called them and it always goes to their voicemail. I left a message and no one replied. I went there because I thought it was a cool museum to check out. There was a poster that said: retail space available. I called it and talked to someone who didn't know but transferred me to someone else. I left a message but no reply. I even saw a dog walker and she said that she never saw anyone in the building. Bummer because this was on my list of things to do in Atlanta. So Heads up - you may want to save your time and not come here, unless the business on here replies otherwise. read more

3.5 stars My visit to the selfie museum was late on a Sunday night. That being said, there were only several individuals inside. I had purchased a Groupon prior giving us the VIP status which only meant that we can take our time in the exhibits but there was not a crowd anyway. Also everything young lady there who had a suitcase with various wardrobe changes. Maybe she was doing a birthday shoot but I thought that it was very ingenious to change into outfits and have different looks while you're doing your pictures. It was also a gentleman there. I guess he was shooting a music video. He was using the boxing bags and he also went upstairs to the swing and was all on the floor creating a low budget video from what I can gather from it ! The place has several different exhibits from the angel wings to smiley faces to telephone prompts and even a little room with lots of neo colored lights is something for everyone and something that I believe you would find interesting and cute to capture your selfies. read more

This was a cute spot to come and visit. Parking wasn't easy to find but there are some street parking. There wasn't anyone in there when we went. There's a charge for the museum and once you pay you can go to all the sections which are like mini rooms to view the designs and also take pictures. There isn't a time limit and people are cordial when having to wait their turns. We actually had fun taking Pics of the different sections. It was super cute and a lot more fun than we anticipated. There's an upstairs and downstairs area. . You're pretty much on your own with what you want to do. If you're clumsy watch out for the bath tub section with the balls on the floor. It made for some awesome pictures for social media and also just the archives. read more

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when visiting the Selfie Museum, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a really great time! Perfect place to grab pictures if you're a content creator and/or if you're looking for something to do with friends. Parking: There is street parking right in front of the museum. It's free on Sundays! Tickets: Make sure to purchase online ahead of time, as it is timed entry and for adults it's $32. I think it may be a little cheaper on weekdays. You get to spend about 1.5 hour in the museum. I'm not sure what happens if you go significantly over; I assume they politely ask you to leave. Museum: The museum itself is two stories, with about 20+ different "rooms" with unique backgrounds. Although they provide ring lights, they are not the ones with the phone holder attachments. I recommend bringing your own tripod and/or a friend to capture the shots you really want. I also suggest booking a ticket for opening, as we had the entire place to ourselves for the majority of our time there. They also have bathrooms there so feel free to bring a change of clothes! read more

I found the Selfie Museum through a Yelp search prior to visiting Atlanta. I wanted to find a cute experience for me and the group of ladies I was traveling with. For the price, museum was perfect location to share a few laughs and take tons of cute pictures. There are about 15 different backgrounds for guests to take pictures and/or selfies. The owners always place those ring make/up lights through the building to give your flicks a better lighting. They could have did a bit better with the ceiling lights, but all and all, great spot at a great price. read more

I came with a group of friends celebrating a Bday this wknd. I had heard about it on IG and thought what a cool outing and it's wasn't super expensive. There were plenty of reservation times to choose from. We opted for 7pm on Friday night. It wasn't crowded, maybe 3 other small groups there. Everyone was pretty good about moving from background to background to allow others an opportunity to take pics. There were ring lights that we were able to move around in the immediate vicinity of the backdrops to give our pictures the perfect lighting. The staff was amazing. From the moment we walked in the door they were very welcoming, went over the rules and offered to take pictures and give suggestions for poses if we wanted. The building is easy to find however parking isn't great. There's street parking but I highly recommend Uber or Lyft. Now for the backdrops...I absolutely loved them. The kids had fun with them, especially the tub with balls and a rubber ducky. I think this place is pretty dope and I hope they'll keep it fresh and exciting with new backdrop options every few months. read more

The best!!!! All photogs, IG hashtaggers, and carefree folks need to stop by the Selfie Museum. I had a blast!!! There is professional backgrounds and lighting to help you elevate your selfie game. Come with friends or solo, it doesn't matter, you'll get good pics. Don't have a selfie stick? That's ok, the front desk clerk will snap pics for you. But your ticket online, but get there a little early, if it's not busy they'll let you in before your scheduled time. read more

I went on March 8th and had a great time!! I figured it would be fun but the experience was so much more exciting than I expected. There was a large variety of backdrops to use and there were ring lights and studio lights for each backdrop. It was very easy to move between backdrops and the only issue we had was spending too much time at one wall. When we went, it wasn't crowded at all so we were pretty far from other groups and able to stay socially distanced. The photo walls upstairs were contained in cubicle like rooms while the downstairs space was one giant room. We wore masks when we weren't right up against the walls in the cubicles or far away from others. I felt really comfortable and safe throughout the experience. I would definitely recommend going! read more

I Loved, Loved, Loved it here !! The Atalanta Selfie Museum is fun, bright, and vibrant. This place gives you an experience, no where else can. Just full of happiness and smiles in here lol. It gives you that creative space you wish u had at home lol. It's very spacious, Ring lights all over and that perfect lighting we all love. There are lockers, free for use, to store your purse or any other belongings you don't want to tug around while taking Selfie's. Customer service was great and the greeter was friendly as well. There are a lot of backdrops to choose from or you can simply take pics in front of them all !! Only Con i have to point out is it was a little hot in there . The process to attend was very simple. Just go on their website and pick a date and time. I paid $30 on a sunday, I believe during the week it's cheaper but not by much. Parking in the area is decent, there is NO parking lot but street parking is available, we were able to find a spot pretty easy. You get one hour in the facility & it's not like after your hour is up the greeter is kicking u out lol. Really great energy here, I can't wait to come back and take pics with my Niece. I absolutely loved my visit to the Atlanta Selfie Museum! the staff was helpful and showed my group how to correctly pose with some of the various photo booths and there are several to choose from. I had lots of time to explore and didn't feel rushed out. i recommend going when they first open up so you don't have to wait on booths, and if you go solo definitely bring an attachment for your phone to connect to the ring lights. they have the lights in each booth but you need to provide your own holder for the phone. i went with a group of girlfriends so we just took turns taking each other's photos and it was super fun! i will be back! xo read more

This was a really cool and interesting place. Not so much of a museum as it is a big studio with stations/backdrops to create a great photo. For anyone who is an influencer, model, photographer, or just an all around creative definitely consider making this a stop for a content day. Personal recommendation: bring at least 2 fits to go around to each backdrop at least 2x, or to cover all ground. There are 3 angel wings and the rest of the backdrops are fun! Choose your day wisely, therefore you're not rushed or having to wait in lines for pictures. read more

This is a really cool place. I love the aesthetic. You can tell someone put thought into it. They have a lot of lighting (ceiling lights and movable ring lights!!!) to ensure you take the perfect photo. It's in a pretty good location, my family and I walked here from centennial Olympic park and it took us about 17 minutes which wasn't bad. I must deduct a star because I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is. There are two levels and 30 different scenes for one to take pictures at. As of today, nowhere on there website do they mention that they don't have an elevator so the top floor isn't wheelchair or stroller accessible. Additionally, to be considered a selfie museum, I think it would be a good idea to rent out selfie sticks or have a selfie stick rental charge included in the price. I wouldn't recommend going to this place solo because the pictures won't have the full effect unless someone else actually takes the picture for you (or maybe having a selfie stick might help a bit). Or if you have your own tripod and a button that you can press to take pictures of yourself, this would work if its not overcrowded. Anyway, we had a good time even though everyone couldn't access the second floor. If they don't want to make the second floor handicap/stroller accessible, they need to discount tickets for people who will only get to enjoy half of the gallery. This is definitely a museum created with millennials in mind. Fantastic idea. Just need to adjust the price for people who can't physically access the top level (or who don't want to), think about handing out selfie sticks, and maybe add some different aesthetics like graffiti walls, abandoned buildings, etc. Or if you don't want to hand out selfie sticks, put it as a recommended bring on your website under the FAQ section so people know that it's best to bring someone take their photos or bring a selfie stick to capture more of the aesthetics. The place was clean. An employee walked around periodically sweeping to ensure the optimal experience. They do have a bathroom and it was well kept. This is such a cute spot and a great activity to do with friends, family, etc. There were so many photo spots that we didn't even get a chance to take photos with all of them! It also wasn't crowded when I went, so very easy to stay away from people and social distance. The staff is also very friendly and willing to help you take photos! The environment is very welcoming and friendly. They have a supportive staff and large variety of sets to play around with, I love how accommodating everything was. Just a note, they don't have tripod phone holders, so if you have one bring one, other than that it's such a great experience to take family and friends! I took my mom this past weekend for her birthday photoshoot and she loved it. It's pretty open and there are Selfie rings for almost every room. The mirror room is gorgeous as ever and the staff is pretty accommodating. You have restrooms for outfit changing and you can bring any camera you have, professional or personal. It's a great experience for sure. read more

They were nice enough to offer me a free ticket. When I went back on a Tuesday it was nowhere near crowded and easy to enjoy it. Great customer service. This place is amazing! We came in for a soft preview and were able to spend extra time taking tons of photos and videos (coming soon). The space is fairly large and I think they were over 30 different booths that kept us busy for quite some time! The stuff was very friendly and helpful and we actually got to meet the owners. They even helped us take some of the pictures The "pink room" is our absolute favorite, I think we spend at least 20 minutes in there We are already planning a trip back with more outfits! read more

Unique concept & super fun atmosphere! There are two floors and enough different backgrounds or concepts to keep you busy for an hour or more. The only down side is that you can find parking if you're lucky & if they're busy along with the other businesses in that area, it's hard to find. But it's in ATL so that's normal. Definitely come with a group of friends so you can take turns at different backdrops. It's a fun spot for birthdays or special occasions! read more

I had a great experience here and it was my first time coming. I rented out the space for a shoot and the host was such a sweetheart, checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying the space! They were even nice enough to let us vibe out after we booked the space for an hour in which was awesome! I'd definitely come back with some friends and/or rent the space again! Obsessed with this beautiful experience in the heart of Atlanta! A must see and new fav. Luckily I live nearby! They are covid safe and have the most amazing energy. This was such a fun experience. My wife and I were looking for something unique and fun to do for a day date and this was a great choice. Really relaxed, yet safe environment. They had all precautions in place for Covid, so we felt comfortable the whole time. The staff was super friendly and helpful! All of the photo booths were super creative and provided plenty of options to get unique photos. We had an exceptional time and we'll definitely be back! read more

I went at about 3pm on a Saturday, and the line to get in wasn't long at all. There was an option to choose Titanic or Van Gogh, regular ticket($40) or VIP($60). It started with a timeline of his life, and some of his most famous paintings. There were 2 different large rooms with the paintings from his Japan trips and flower series projected everywhere around the room. I'd bring a jacket because it was really cold in few places. You can take as long as you want, but it really doesn't take much time to get through the entire thing. Maybe 40 minutes if you're reading everything. We got the VR experience added for $5, and that was cute, but nothing to really write home about. At the gift shop, I got a sunflower tea set ($30) & the large can of blooming tea ($19.99). Those were my favorite part. Then as we exited, we were able to draw a picture and have it animated on a projector for a while.

Maybe it was due to the venue itself, I just felt like I wasn't as immersed in the experience as I wanted to be. I visited the summer of 2021 when the experience first popped up in Atlanta but probably won't be visiting again unless they make some big upgrades. There was plenty of parking but not free, FYI. The whole Van Gogh exhibit prior to the room you see all over social media was similar to most art museum exhibits you see, but pretty in depth. We didn't pay extra for the VR experience, which maybe why it seems like the experience overall was just ok. The Immersive Experience room was pretty freaking cool but also felt not quite worth it. At the end was the VR & coloring stations, and of course gift shop. The coloring station seemed a bit silly for adults but great for if you brought the kids. After purchasing a cool Van Gogh magnet in the gift shop, we were in and out in about an hour? We immediately headed for the food trucks and alcohol tent upon exiting. Kamayan and Wild Leap were there at the time so it was great trying some tasty Filipino food and some boozy slushies. So the TLDR? If you're going to do the experience, do the whole thing with the VR. Otherwise, it may be an ok date night kind of pregame? But don't expect it to WOW either.

Marietta History Museum; Kennesaw House…read more Sooooo much history in this building. I highly recommend. Not a huge museum so it won't take much of you're time but there is a lot of good stuff to see here. Built as a cotton warehouse by John Glover in 1845, the Kennesaw House is one of Marietta's oldest buildings. On May 1, 1855, Dix Fletcher purchased the warehouse from John Glover for $12,000 and transformed it into a hotel. Fletcher named his hotel the Fletcher House until 1867 when he renamed it the Kennesaw House. It was not until the Civil War that the Kennesaw House gained notoriety and expanded its fame. On April 11, 1862, James Andrews and 18 US soldiers spent the night here on the 2nd floor. The next morning James Andrews and the "Raiders" left the Kennesaw House, boarded a train to Kennesaw, and stole 'The General' when its Confederate crew stopped for breakfast. The purpose of this raid was to help cut the Confederacy into smaller pieces by stealing a Confederate locomotive while destroying bridges and supply lines along the way. The raid was ultimately unsuccessful but the Kennesaw House gained fame as the starting location of the "Great Locomotive Chase." In July of 1864, Union General William Tecumseh Sherman used the house for his headquarters during his "Atlanta Campaign". That November, departing US Calvary started to burn anything that could be of use to the Confederate army. Sherman spared the hotel because Dix Fletcher was a Mason and because his son-in-law, Henry Cole, was a Yankee spy. However, the fourth floor did catch fire as ashes from other burning buildings blew onto the roof. The fourth floor was never rebuilt. During Reconstruction, Dix Fletcher re-emerged the hotel "as a resort destination free from the ice and chill wind of the North and the oppressive heat and relentless bugs of the South." It is now owned by the Downtown Marietta Development Authority, and since 1996 functioned as the Marietta Museum of History.

You may want to read up on the house and area before you arrive to ground you in the founding of Roswell. If you love antiques, there's tons to see! Lots of pics on wall. This specific founder wasn't ostentatious so its the opposite of gold, lavish, etc. Its humble wealth! They were devout Presbyterians who were conflicted on owning slaves; private/ secret abolitionist who taught their slaves to write. Telling other locals it was for God so his slaves could read the Bible. But truly it was so they had a skill and could be more than slaves! Remarkable! Fun visit. There are two more grand homes, larger, more lavish by 2 other Roswell early founders, about a mile away. So if you have more time, do it all in 2 to 3 hours. We sat on the porch for 30 min just rocking, nice chairs! We may not ever go back but it was worth seeing!

The event started at seven that evening and the actual event lasted for about two hours. This place is a classic gem that hasn't allowed current trends to change it. There was plenty of space in the auditorium the event was held in. The cool aspect of specific event was that we all could take photos with rapper 2 Chainz. I will say it was another great experience at another great place.

It did its job to entertain and be unique, but the cameras were fuzzy when taking our pics and the gift shop was so-so. There are bathrooms which are nice to have in there. I say it like that because it seemed too tiny to have any sadly not gender neutral.. in any case. I would say go here if you have nothing else to do, but once you been, that's kinda it. Was hoping it was more elaborate and bigger and maybe even informative and more scientific perhaps.
