She was super sweet and I left feeling relaxed. She managed to target all the spots I was feeling sore and then some. The hot oil hair massage was nice. Receptionist was super sweet too :). It was a great spa vibe to get dressed in our robes and relax before each of our services. Once we were all dressed in our robes, we went into a waiting room for our therapist to see us. They were there instantly when we got there which was because we didn't have to wait too long. I had my massage and it was really good. I loved the therapist that I worked with and she was great. After my massage was over, I met back up with my SIL and sister. My sister seemed kind of unhappy and when I asked why, she said that she had booked her treatment for cupping and an intense massage but that isn't what she got. She didn't want to make a big deal about it. My SIL eventually went to the front desk and after awhile got it sorted out that they had a system error in their booking. They could still offer my sister the cupping but we'd have to wait a bit to do it. It was good that she was able to do the cupping but disappointing that her relaxing had to be disrupted and we ended up being there longer than anticipated and had to move some plans around. Overall it worked itself out and we still enjoyed our visit. They did a good job of handling the hiccup.

I'm updating my review because I have now had a hydrafacial at a different spa in the area. My…read moreexperience with Edie and her hydrafacial versus my experience today were as expected, absolutely night and day! There was a hydrafacial representative at the event I got my mini (15 minute) hydrafacial done at today. She confirmed my feelings that A- my experience at wine country day spa did not properly perform the service (I had an excess of product on my skin applied by Edie that prevented the hydrafacial to effectively perform the service) and B- the machine used to perform the hydrafacial was a much older less effective model. I have still gotten zero response from wine country day spa regarding my experience. Customer service should be high up on the list of priorities. Had I gotten a response from Edie regarding my experience maybe she could have made it right but too little too late. I wasted money going here trying to find the best price around. You get what you pay for... Or not in this case because it was still super expensive.

My bf and I got a one-hour couple's massage this past Sunday. We arrived early, but they started…read more5-10 minutes late after our appointment time. Staff was friendly, and seemed to be running around doing their best to help customers on site (possibly short-handed). Gentle melodies played quietly in the background during our session, but the ticking of the clock was loud and a bit bothersome in our massage room. The decor and setting was clean and simple. I loved the comfy face hole pillows on the massage beds, which felt like a soft memory foam type of material. Our masseuses were in and out of the massage room, leaving the room at least 3 times combined during our session to help other customers outside of the room (I know this because it happened every time the door bell to the entrance rang). This doesn't count the times they left for hot towels. We asked for hard pressure for both of us, but my bf's masseuse did a better job at it than mine. His massage bed had bars hanging from the ceiling which was used for back walking. For my treatment, there were moments that felt like my masseuse applied deep tissue strength, but the pressure wasn't consistent, and she didn't really work on my knots. I did appreciate that she did a thorough job on my feet though. That was probably the best part of my full body massage.

Great service & very attentive. Removed a star because they were mad at my $20 tip and was asking…read morefor more money. They don't know how much money a person has. Getting a massage is a splurge for some People and you can't be mad at someone's tip. It's kind of rude. But my massage was cool.

I went in for a massage because I had a couple of knots in my shoulders that needed to be worked…read moreout and were leaving me feeling uncomfortable. That was the entire reason I booked the appointment. I called before to make sure they could do a firm massage, and the woman on the phone told me that would be fine. As it turned out, the woman I spoke with on the phone was the same person who gave me the massage, so she already knew that I was specifically looking for firm pressure. For context, I've had many massages in my life and have even had massage memberships, so I'm very familiar with how massage sessions normally work. The massage started with her walking on my back and my legs, which was actually fine. I assumed she was warming up my body before getting into the actual massage work. After that, she moved to my shoulders and spent maybe five minutes very lightly rubbing them, almost like a skin massage instead of actually working into the muscle where the knots were. Then she tried to move back to my legs. I stopped her and told her I didn't need my legs worked on and that my shoulders were the reason I came in. I asked her to please go back to my shoulders because that's where the pain was. At that point I even moved my hand out from under the blanket to physically show her exactly where the discomfort and knots were. I also told her clearly that I can take pressure and that I needed a firm massage. I even mentioned that I've had male massage therapists before and that strong pressure is not a problem for me. She stayed on my shoulders after that, but the pressure never actually became firm. I kept having to repeat that I needed more pressure, and each time she would say "firmer, firmer," yet the pressure barely changed. The session was $119 for a 60-minute Swedish, deep tissue, Thai massage. At best, I received a basic Thai-style portion where she walked on my back, but there was no deep tissue work and no Swedish massage techniques at all. I left with the same knots in my shoulders that I walked in with. To make things more uncomfortable, when I went to pay she asked me out loud what my tip was going to be. I ended up leaving $10 because I felt put on the spot, even though I honestly did not feel the service warranted it. Looking back, I had no idea this would be such a complete waste of money. Honestly, I would rather give the county $129 for a parking ticket than spend that amount on this massage again. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and based on what I experienced I would not recommend this place.

I'm so disappointed. My only day off in a while and I had high hopes for a Thai massage. Well,…read morethe massage was mediocre, but what really is messed up is the massage therapist did not leave the room while I undressed and then asked me to pay while in my undies . I had initially booked a 90 minute massage, but she charged me for an hour but before she could recharge me, I checked my bank account and the massage was $125 for 60 minutes and I stopped her from redoing the charge. Wow!!! She also said she added 10% tip without even asking. Luckily I stopped her before accruing extra charges for the remaining 30 minutes. And then...she asked for an additional tip when the massage was over! I won't be back.
