Price seemed right for a smog check and cert. and I liked how he was straight forward and helpful. Decided to go the following day, no appointment necessary, Armen said it would take maybe 30-45 minutes. I was ok with the time, planned on working while waiting. When I arrived, Greg was there and helped me, very friendly and took me right away. No wait. I started working on my computer and before I really got much done, he came back and my car was ready passed and cert. transmitted to the DMV, all less than 10 minutes. Out the door price with a $10 discount was $53. (As of Sept. 2025). Excellent service, fast service, straight forward reasonable pricing is a recipe for success. I called Massoud a couple of times to confirm he was willing to take such a large vehicle, and he was, he only said bring it at the end of the day so it's the last vehicle. I called to let him know I was on my way, and he was ready for me with a cone (saving my space) at his shop. Massoud was very friendly, quick, and passed my '77 Dodge with no problems. Massoud is my forever smog guy, I won't be going anywhere else.

Antagonistic owner alluding that customers are the reason he wants to leave California!? Huh?!…read moreAnyway, I arrived at the smog station to smog my BMW 335i 2007. I presented an OBD2 app that showed all emissions tests Passed. He said that since all these tests Passed for my 2007 BMW 335i, it will therefore pass his smog testing. He simply said it would pass without any further conditions. He explained that Permanent fail codes on model 2010 and newer cars would make the car FAIL but that mine is a 2007 model car and did not have that permanent failure code. I then turned on my car and looked and I had a yellow check engine light (I think it's called), along with many other lights that turn ON and then go OFF. I asked him about that Check Engine light that was momentarily ON and he said my car won't pass now... and that I didn't tell him I had that check engine light. And while we were talking the light turned off within 10 seconds or so after start like other lights. I then asked him for clarification compared to what he told me a moment ago that it will definitely pass if there are no permanent codes but he seemingly changed his story saying it will fail because he already 'hooked it up" or something (?) in the 2 minutes. I saw no cable but I'm not sure. He began to get very aggressive cutting me off in mid-sentence as I'm trying to calmly discuss the details of how these things. I maybe get three or four words in my non-confrontational way and he's cutting me off correcting me telling me how to things are while being very rude. I had a very bad feeling immediately in 2 secs into his rant that this guy is an A$$. I gave him an opportunity to back off and he would not stop the verbal assault on me. I told him to stop with the noise saying "you win, just stop talking" But he wouldn't stop. And the only way I could get away from him coming down on me so hard was very or of my car & walk out of the shop telling him don't talk to me. Of course he wasn't done. He starts talking about California and how he needs to get out of California I'm the reason why he wants to leave California. He's not a good man. This kind of person is always worth avoiding because he wants you to be on the losing end of any discussion when dealing with him.

We had a very disappointing experience here\…read more We purchased shocks for our 2018 Toyota Tundra and called ahead to ask about installation\. We were quoted what we felt was a fair price\. Before the work was done, we specifically discussed the setting we wanted and made it very clear that our goal was for the front and rear of the truck to sit even\. When we picked up the truck, the front end was noticeably higher than the rear\. The owner explained that he had decided to set the shocks at their highest setting because he thought it would better match our previous setup\. Unfortunately, that was not what we asked for, and it did not achieve the result we had specifically requested\. We agreed the shocks needed to be reset to low, or medium at the very highest\. They were ultimately set on low, and the truck now sits the way it did with our previous setup\. What was especially disappointing was that we were charged for the additional labor required to correct a setting we had not requested in the first place\. In our opinion, if a shop chooses to disregard a customer's specific instructions and the work then has to be redone, the customer should not be charged for correcting that decision\. We expected fair treatment from a local business in our little town, and unfortunately we did not feel we received it\. We will not be taking our vehicles there in the future\.
