Recently hired through insurance for water damage restoration. Worst experience. People are so attitude. Poor and pathetic estimation, also they didn't use the quality product. Simply dragging the small work. They are just insurance chasers spiking up the estimates unreasonably Reply to the owner comment: Really charging 160$ for taking out the 40$ worth hanging mirror from the wall and replacing is a meaningful estimate. Yes, I reduced the scope of work first time bcoz you were unable to provide a definite timeline when you can start and finish the work. The suggestion for changing the scopes comes from your estimator only. Bcoz of your delay, i choose for different vendors for my work. On the second time,when I noticed 160$ handling charge for 40$ worth of mirror. Also, you charged for a new baseboard. However, you reused the ones that were removed. Also, the drywall, you used less quality than the existing one. The existing ones are 5/8 in, and you used 1/2 inch. That's your wonderful estimation. Unprofessional and typical of contractors. Called and spoke to an AJ and an appointment was made to come and look at my storm damage. They called and cancelled with a promise of rescheduling. After a week called them back and they never returned my call. Avoid!! read more

The amount of complaints i have are endless All the contractors they hired did damage to my property as well as no attention to detail in any of the work At the end I WAS SO UPSET I HIRED SOMEONE ELSE TO COME IN AND FIX ALL THEIR ERRORS! Our experience with these people, their "business" tactics, communications and quality of work and materials was all atrocious. We are left with disappointment, anger, regret and many problems with the "work" they did that we will have to pay someone else to fix. I recently had four bathrooms updated by Orion Construction. New floors, toilets, sinks, counters and faucets. They completed the work in three days. Quality work was done. Very pleased with Ken, Bill and Michael. I would recommend and let Ken do the finishing touches. read more

Really poor experience. I hate leaving bad reviews, it feels so cruel and can be damaging to business. So let me start by saying that the gal who answers the calls is extremely nice and helpful, and that I hope my situation was an isolated case. If someone has recommended Orion, use their word over mine and hope for the best -- businesses should always have the opportunity to redeem themselves and learn from mistakes, no one is perfect. That said, I still believe businesses should be held accountable for unreasonable customer service. My wife and I called several times to schedule an appointment with the electrician and nothing says "we do not care about your business" more than being blatantly ignored. Last Friday (from time of writing) I made an appointment with Orion for Monday morning between 8:00-8:30. My family got our kids organized in time and ready for the appointment. Orion's electrician never showed. Around 10:00 we received a call saying there was a note on the electrician's desk to set an appointment with us. We explained the already scheduled and missed appointment (him not realizing he had spoke with us on Friday and already scheduled one). He seemed very apologetic and we felt better about the situation, so we rescheduled for that afternoon "after lunch". We did not leave the house, waiting for the electrician to arrive, which he never did. Two missed appointments in one day. Furthermore, my wife tried to call him 2 times that afternoon to check on the very recently scheduled appointment and we could not get through to him. The next morning we called again, this time to complain. My hope was that management would be eager to fix the situation and win back our business. I spoke to the electrician's manager, who said he was going to call the electrician and then call me "right" back. We never received that call. I'm writing the review because I feel it's deserved. We're an easy-going family and made repeated attempts to offer our business. The way each situation was handled was without question a 1-star performance. Any bit of effort would have gone a long way. Our repair was important to us, so we called another local company who came out and took care of us within 2 hours, was on time, precise and courteous. Again, on the phone (when we could reach them) everyone was very nice. Just wish that would have extended beyond those calls. read more

Our house was filled with sewer a few months back and our insurance recommended Orion. I would advise to just not waste your time with this company. They never got back with us when we called or emailed. Claimed they never had our email or never got voicemails and honestly it seemed like they just did not want to work with us. On top of the TERRIBLE communication skills and response times, they told us contradicting information about a lot of different things on our home. For example they had at first told us that we could supply everything for them to put in and then said that we couldn't because they "couldn't guarantee correct service to make sure everything goes in correctly" if we bought our items yet continued to say "if you want something from Home Depot give us the item number and we will purchase it for you from Home Depot." WHAT?! What difference does it make if we buy it vs if you buy it? We worked with Amy and she seemed like she really hated her job and never got in touch with us after the numerous phone calls and emails. She was very unorganized with what she did. It's very sad to see that Orion does not care about their customers and are only after their money and pretty much scamming people. And after seeing the hatch jobs they did on other peoples homes, we decided to do the work ourselves and got it done most likely 100x better than they could and in a short amount of time. All this to say they prolonged everything for MONTHS. If you need something done in a timely manner DO NOT go with Orion and if you need things done professionally RUN FROM ORION. read more

This is a very difficult company to deal with. The electrician came, looked at our house and apparently was no where to be found afterwards. Another electrician called me to re-schedule a visit. He said he was available anytime. I scheduled him on the same day @ 3pm which he told me he'll be there. 45 minutes after the agreed time, i texted him asking if he was close. He told me to call someone else because he had no time. If you didn't have time, don't tell me you have time and make me wait for you, then tell me to screw off. Or, how about, maybe, you don't call the customer at all if you didn't have time to follow through. Then he offered to come the next day, but no promises. Yeah right. Beware! These guys are storm chasers that take advantage of you when you need help the most. They know insurance pays so they don't care about you as the customer. Some of the guys working for them are good, but the decision makers are "shady" you can't keep their attention long enough to explain anything. Not really sure how this company has stayed in business with such poor customer service. I had left a message on website for a call back. After 3 days I thought maybe a computer glitch had occurred. I called the office and spoke to someone name JR or J something. Anyways he said he would have someone contact me for the construction estimate. I have yet to hear back. Doesn't matter to me because I've already had someone else start the job. Just wanted to make sure that no one else wastes their time with such a Mickey Mouse type outfit. It is not a mistake that multiple different people are taking the time to inform you to stay away. 5 weeks have gone by, I have called and called. I have never received my quote for an addition. When I finally did get in touch with the man who was doing the estimate he told me he didn't think I had the money so he never figured out the quote. I would recommend Greg Nield and his crew anytime and anyplace. They were prompt, courteous and respectful and very little down time. All questions were patiently answered. This was after a water backup that flooded our basement. The workers were skilled, thoughtful and asked how we wanted things done. I have nothing but praise for Greg and his people. The girls who answered the phones were particularly helpful and pleasant as well. read more
