Lalita from Orion Ink is incredible at what she does. I have always been insecure about my eyebrows and would never leave the house without me drawing them on. This was one of the reasons why I looked into power brows and how I stumbled across her Instagram page. Lalita had the best welcoming energy and her studio is so inviting and clean. From the beginning of the brow appointment, till the end, she was kind and I felt that I was in great care. She answered all my questions and was incredibly informational with all her responses. When she finished drawing out the outline for my new brows I was in shock, I finally had the brows I've always dreamed of. I love my new brows!! I liked how Lalita provides a cute little aftercare kit for her clients. To me that shows that she goes above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone 100/10. I also wanted to add that I am bad with pain and that I feel that my pain tolerance is low--I still cry when I'm getting my blood drawn. I originally had my first session done back in May, but wanted to wait until my touch up healed so that I could give a comprehensive review. Everything about this process was super easy, starting with making my initial appointment. I found Lalita one day while scrolling through Instagram, and after obsessively watching her videos I decided to make an appointment. Her online booking system was super simple and the pre-appointment instructions were crystal clear. I'm a bit older, at almost 38 I lived through the "pluck your brows till there are none" era, and regretfully my eyebrows decided to never grow back. So my brows have been stuck in 1999 ever since, except for maybe that one year span of time when I got them microbladed at a different location (surprise! They didn't last and I was not as happy with them initially like I am with my brows now). I felt like ombré powder brows was the way to go this time since my brow hair is so sparse and I'm extremely happy with my decision. My first experience with Lalita was great, and her work was stellar. She made sure that I was happy with the shape and color before the procedure. Entirely painless from start to finish. I was sent home with a nice little care package and instructions on how to clean my brows while they healed - that process took about 10 days and during that time Lalita made sure to keep in touch to check how healing was progressing. I went in for my touch up last week, and again the entire process was super simple. I opted to have a lighter touch up so that my finished brows aren't as bold. I'm about 6 days out from my touch up, and surprisingly am almost completely healed. My color looks almost exactly the same as before the touch up, which is what I was hoping for. I can't recommend Lalita enough - I appreciate the super simple process, the straightforward instructions, Lalita's commitment to providing excellent work... but most of all I LOVE MY NEW BROWS!! read more

The appointment started with my desired look (shape, shade, boldness etc.) for my brows and I was even asked to show a photo of how I fill in my brows for a better reference as to how I like them done (good to know so you can have a prepared photo reference). Lalita was super helpful with explaining the process, the after care and did not make a single permanent marking until I was fully satisfied with the shape of my brows. The process did not feel rushed at all she took her time and kept a good conversation so we weren't just sitting in awkward silence, compared to some beauty services, for the few hours I was there. Compared to some tattoo experiences Lalita had such a light hand the entire process was completely painless! Numbing cream was offered but I had no discomfort whatsoever so I didn't feel the need for it.
