Josh did a fantastic job on a beach tattoo request I had that kinda covered up an older tattoo. It was as great as I hoped and his attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Awesome job! You could tell he really wants to do great work 'cause when it was late in the session and past closing hours he kept going without a care of time. I took the pain and hunger 'cause I knew he was doing his best to make something extraordinary. Mission accomplished. Look at the pic. Speaks for itself. The shop is clean and comfortable. Chill vibe. Cool music. Good convo. And his dog Scruffy? Scrappy? Forgot his name but cool dog. Thanks Josh.

Where do I even begin. I made an appointment with and the appointment was confirmed. It was difficult to get them to reply to my text but I get it, they were busy..but to never answer, that's terrible customer service, but hey, maybe that's not too priority. Fine I go in to my appointment and they guy is not there. There's no work if his to I can get an idea of what to expect and finally, he never showed. I wanted a small tattoo because I wouldn't get a big piece without knowing if their lines are good. I was planning on becoming a frequent client because I want to finish my sleeve and start another one on my right arm. HOWEVER, dude never showed which gave me a bad taste in my mouth. A quick text telling me you're running late for MY appointment would have been considerate but nope. So if you want to be ignored because you're not a regular or getting a small piece, go somewhere else. I went to. Great spot in West Covina behind the Mall and yes it. Was pricey but they were attentive, efficient, had customer service and that all I wanted. Now that's going to be the spot I get my work done . read more

shout out to josh, he did a sick tattoo of a Catrina on my shoulder. it came out way better than i hoped. I came in today unannounced to get a tattoo fixed, the staff reached out to the owner and he came 10 mins later, gave me a proper quote, and handled it on the spot... 1hr and a half later I was out the door.. these negative reviews have to be about females who have no patience or expect too much on lettering work... Josh is a respectful individual and a mighty fine artist, thanks Josh for taking care of me last minute tattoo fix when I had a wild hair up my ass... This shop deserves respect... I got several tattoos at Iron Electric and I can't speak more highly of the service, friendly environment, and most importantly the quality of the work. Josh is an amazing artist with creative ability to turn anything into a tattoo. Although his talents are most exceptional in black and gray realism, Josh can take any idea and construct it into a work of art. He crafted several tattoos out of my military patches and integrated them into my sleeve along with a beautiful Bald Eagle. He had the vision to fold them into my American flag forearm tattoo and bring everything together. My fiancé got work done by Matt and his work was spectacular with detail, creativity and he has a gentle hand that makes the tattoo experience much easier. I have seen other works being done while being worked on and have mad respect for the artistry and talent of the other artists there. The facility is clean, well kept, and well run. Tattoos are addictive anyways but when coupled with a perfect environment, creativity, friendly staff, and the highest quality artistry, it's hard to resist coming back over and over. Whether it's your first tattoo and you need a gentle hand or it's your 20th tattoo and you are looking for perfection, this is a place that fits the bill for all. I highly recommend. So I went in to get a previous tattoo I had done by another artist fixed up and touched up where do I begin first off didn't even cover the word I wanted covered which was bitch on my wrist second of all the artists charged me to finish the tattoo I have 17 tattoos if you need a little more money that's understandable but to charge me to finish your work that's not okay I decided not to come back and I definitely won't recommend this shop very poor service read more

I've been here about 4 times and every time they greeted me and made me feel welcomed unlike other tattoo shops that are very intimidating. They are very clean and antiseptic when tattooing. I've had work done my Mat and Mathis, great artist and great guys overall. Don't be afraid to speak up if you need a break or have suggestions on your tattoo, they are very understanding. Requested service. Finalized the quote, scheduled the time with Joshua and while i was 20min away i get a text from artist Kyle that he can't do it. Please come any other day. I'm not ready today. Later he said i needed deposit to confirm im wondring may be that could be the reason at 1st place. Very saddening as i needed it for my daughter's on daughter day. I ended up not getting it from anybody as i was left with no time. Wont recommend. read more

He was so friendly & professional from the moment I got there for my appointment. He perfectly designed the tattoo as I had envisioned it and did an absolutely amazing job with the shading & details. First, let me begin with saying that this is hands-down one of the best Tattoo shops I have ever been tattooed at!!! I have a lot of tattoos, so I've been to my fair share of tattoo shops throughout California and also Las Vegas, Nevada... The first thing I noticed after walking in the shop is that the shop was very clean, really well-kept, and nicely organized.. BONUS: The bathroom was also nice & very tidy!! There are three nice big comfy couches in the front waiting area and also a Flatscreen TV to watch Netflix, movies, etc.. The music they had playing set the whole VIBE of this already crazy dope tattoo shop!!! With a combination of reggae, rock & couple other great genres, the Mood, Vibe, & Energy in the shop created the perfect setting to chill & get tattooed!!
