Unfortunately their service is very poor. Orkin does not honor the time slot that they give you.I tried to call on two different occasions and just get the voicemail. I have had an ongoing issue with termites in the kitchen cabinets. And over the last two years the problem has still not been resolved. I would not recommend buying any kind of bond signing any kind of contracts with this company. I have not and I will not do any business with Orkin because of my very first experience trying to contact this company. FIrst, I called their phone number and I am taken on a talking to a machine journey that is intended to take as many thousands of calls as possible per day, treating you just like another number. Then, after trying for quite a bit to ask a few questions, I get to a human being. The dryest, least personal nearly robotic single toned, single worded responding human I've interacted with in a long, long time. I asked two questions to that cold, detached voice on the other side of the line and she responded both with one word each. And she stayed silent. Right there and then I decided ABSOLUTELY NOT! If even before you take my money you treat me life you don't give a sh__t, why would I trust you with my money and my home. ZERO! Never! Adios! Wow! I have nothing but amazing things to say!!! We've tried other services but by far this was our best experience! Yadin Lara, our technician, is absolutely amazing! We've had problems with drain flies for a few months and no one has been able to give us any guidance! He is amazing and took his time explaining exactly what to do in conjunction with their services to end this problem! He is following up in 14 days and and making sure that it is all taken care of!!! We contacted Orkin yesterday because we had a fire ant infestation. They took our credit card information and said they would be here today between 2 and 4pm and that we would receive a phone call when they were in their way. We called at 3:45 because we had not received a call. We were told that the technician was running late and that we should call back if we hadn't received a call in the next 15 minutes. We did not receive a call so we did call them back and they had no answers. We told them to just cancel the service call because I had taken a half day to be there. We have had a ghost ant and millipede problem for about 6 months on and off. We have lived in our place for almost 15 years, and have never had a problem with pests until recently. We have an 18 month old, so we didn't want to have bug poison sprayed in our home, however after many failed attempts from using store bought and home made bug spray/traps/bait etc. nothing seemed to work for more than a day. After doing some research on ghost ants, we decided to give in and call around to get some quotes for a pest control service, as they are apparently very difficult to get rid of completely. We had called a couple companies before deciding on Orkin, as they seemed to have the best service with similar pricing and appointment scheduling. After calling and explaining our issue, a rep was sent to our house within two days. Brandon came by and did an inspection of the house, and paid close attention to the problem areas. He was informative and explained the life cycle of the ants, and his recommendations for service etc. I told him my concerns with poison and crawling babies, and he said that the gels and sprays they use are safe for children and pets, just avoid the areas for at least 45 minutes until the surface areas that have been treated are dried. Brandon treated both inside and outside the home. He told me that if I still see ants/bugs after a week, to call again and they will send someone out to treat again. I followed his advice, and I called a week later, and another rep was sent out three days afterwards and treated the areas again. Since then, our home has been completely bug free! We used to see a surge of pests in the house after a big rainstorm, but not since Orkin has been coming around! We signed the year contract and I look forward to having a pest free house year round. read more

A bunch of con men! Signed up for pest control and mosquito control and it did not work. Representative stated that the mosquito spraying would take care of the problem immediately. After two different sprays the mosquitoes were still present! Not only was their pricing double than everywhere else, I was quoted $4000 to fumigate my property. Truly Nolan does the work for $2500. Do yourself a favor and drop these losers! read more

I was just charged for a service that never happened. ORKIN claims someone came to my house and no one was home so the exterminator supposively sprayed 'outside the home for 30 min' and that's not true because the community is gated and I never received a call to let anyone into the community on the day ORKIN claims someone came by. After several visits, my husband and I felt our problem was getting worse not better. Every time the guy came to the house he'd ask where I last saw the roaches, then would treat there as if they'd stay right there! Finally, he came and set up several "roach motels" in my kitchen. I could've gone to Walmart and done that myself. They caught roaches but still did not eliminate the source. Please, don't waste your money. read more

I don't know what it is with this office, but I've never experienced such a disconnect between the staff and its field people. I've also never had such a hard time getting straight answers about our contract details. Our rep is as nice as can be but they can't seem to get their scheduling on track. I have to maneuver my job and three cats (removing them from our home for service) which isn't easy and you would think they would take that into consideration - but they continue to not follow up and not follow through with times. Dear Yelp users, do yourself a favor and run away from this place. They are great when they sell, but terrible customer service, terrible! A couple of months ago I had a regular service scheduled with them - and a few days before the scheduled date I requested to change to a later date. They agreed, but did not respect our agreement and service was performed without my consent. First they tried to show that I was wrong, that they had authorization to go there (my house) whenever they want (say what??? my house? Are you kidding me? After a written request from me asking you not to go???)... after fighting, they said it was their mistake - and in order to fix things they would not charge for the service (service that I specifically requested not to be performed).For my surprise - they charged for the service anyway. I complained one more time and was told by Doug, the branch manager, not to worry about it. Now, for my surprise the collection was sent to an agency - putting pressure for me to pay or it will affect my credit history. Please, do not invite this company to your home (they are worse than pests). I've changed to the competitor (Ter...nix) and I am very happy with their customer service. read more
