Stopping mice from entering house is what I needed to have done. The initial visit seemed very professional as was the second. Reyes was the first tech, Michael the second. Outside of leaving unsightly "foam" protruding from the bottom edges of the house after the first visit, dead mice had been collected in traps. The problems started when I received a charge prior to the next scheduled visit, when I called to ask why I'm being charged before work is actually being done I was told it's part of my monthly mosquito contract...WHAT? I never signed up for mosquito mitigation. I asked to talk to a manager. I was told I would get a call back. I never did. Several days later I called again to find out why I hadn't received a call. After an apology, I was told that I would receive a call back for sure. I never got a call back. I called back a third time and the same thing happened, only this time I was told I'd definitely get a call back before the end of the day. That never happened either. The 3 people I spoke with, in the order I spoke with were Oscar, Michelle and Dogerty (or similar sounding). I find it interesting they show a 4.8 star Google review on their website, but looking at the actual Google reviews they only rate 3.3 - seems like a big difference to me. Their leadership/management is severely flawed.
I just called back a 4th time to sever relations with these people and was told, not only would I be contacted (again), but would be offered a free service with a refund for my last charge...I'm supposed to believe anything I'm being told by these Orkin people after my experiences?
BTW, Tyler Jones is listed as the branch manager in the Silverthorne office of Orkin. Disrespecting me and others (judging by the reviews I've read) by the lack of communication with YOUR customers does not bode well for you personally/professionally...or for Orkin. I've been more than patient, but enough is enough. read more
