It was helpful that they text appointment reminders. They take a $25 deposit when you make an appointment. This location is inside the Pham Institute of Asthetic (Dr. Pham cosmetic surgeon) Social distancing is requested in the waiting area, the receptionists are behind plexiglass and do not wear masks. I felt totally fine with this as the waiting area provides hand sanitizer and is immaculate. I showed up 15 min early for my appointment and waited 25 min. before I saw a tech. The process was easy and they do try to upswell you in different levels of "white" and how length of time to sit in the chair. I paid about $200 for 30 min with extra boost to whiten. They recommended to eat all white foods for 24 hrs. Avoid coffee, wine, red sauce and any food that will stain your teeth. Overall, my white teeth did not stay white beyond a few days. The staff was very nice but I cannot justify this cost for the very short time it lasts.

Why would I have to repeat this?I noticed a sign in the lobby that stated that full payment is due at the time of service. During my appointment I had a biopsy performed and two areas frozen on my face. I paid my bill in full as I was charged. A few days later, I received a call from a staff member with my results of biopsy and was told that I needed to be scheduled for a procedure to remove the carcinoma. Before explaining the procedure they immediately went into scheduling. This news caught me a little off guard and I had a lot of questions regarding what the procedure was and what I can expect. Maria explained it verbally and moved forward with scheduling the procedure for the second week of April. Two weeks prior, I was out of the country and received a call telling me that the dr doesn't take my insurance. Now wouldn't you think that this would have been known before my initial visit when I provided my proof of insurance or even at the time of biopsy when they had to provide a cost of service before performing the biopsy? I certainly would have thought this and believed that they had done so. So, I had to cancel this appointment as well as a future appointment for a full body scan. I thought that both of these appointments were cancelled as I had asked and then I received messaging confirming my active appointments that I had cancelled. So this tells me that the person I communicated with didn't cancel my appointments. This resulted in yet another call. Now once I was back in the country I received messaging confirming a bill in the mail for an additional $19 and some change. How can I be receiving a bill for something I was fully charged for and I payed in office? This is not a company or clinic that I can recommend at all. After dealing with these unprofessional administrative errors, I don't have faith in their dermatology treatments and procedures either.
