A fun and innovative cafe where you can play and cuddle with cats? Sign me up! Walked into this coffee shop for some morning caffeine and decided to pay the $12 entrance fee to play with cats. They brought my food and tea into the cat play room when it was ready. I ordered an iced chai tea latte, the granny panini, and the chicken pesto panini. The food and tea were all delicious! As for the cat cafe section. There is a viewing window from the coffee shop if you prefer to stay away from the cats. Otherwise, you can pay $12 to socialize with the cats for 1 hour. The money goes directly towards the housing of the cats and the staff members. What a great way to socialize the cats while searching for their forever homes! read more

Honestly I didn't like the energy of the everyone in the cafe area of the shop. The staff was not friendly or enthusiastic at all. Jacee was apparently my cashier, she was not happy to be there nor welcoming. I advise you to just be ready to pay a good deal of money because the cheesecake is $6.50 & the smoothies are $5.75 each, expensive just like a Starbucks. I was hoping to eat something more savory but there were no savory options, pure sweets. Also if you really think you have a chance to adopt here, you probably don't. It's way easier to adopt at the Orange County animal services across from the Millenia Mall. However, this cat cafe will ask you for two references (NOT family), your landlord's name & number, if you own they'll ask you for proof of mortgage, if you inform them of your current pets they'll ask you for up to date shot information along with spay/neuter info & rabies info. Very uptight for a place that isn't even run by the actual government like the Orange County Animal Services. Not to mention the fact that I was able to adopt a cat at the Orange County Animal Services for only $10, the Orange County animal services normal prices however are $40 which is still way cheaper than the Cat Cafe's prices which start at $100 for cats 2+ & older, & $150 for kittens. Extremely expensive & the people working at the actual front cafe desk are rude & need retraining on customer service. read more

My first cat cafe and i had such a fun experience! I wish i could have brought one home but I was visiting Orlando for my work trip. I reserved online a few days prior and i was the only reservation on a Thursday at 11 am. There were two groups of 2 who were walk ins for 12 pm and one group of 2 who was a walk in for 11 am. Every reservation has 15 spots available and a spot is $10. Walk ins are welcome. When you come in, let them know you are here for a reservation or if you would like to come in to visit the cats. You can order your coffee and food and they will come bring it in to you. They have a picture wall of the cats that are available for pending adoption. It also lists their adoption price. They were all over the place but it wasnt overcrowded for them as most were sleeping and some were in "play mode". There is a variety of boys and girls and each of them has a collar with their name on it. An abundance of toys are available for you to play with them. read more

If you want to find some peace, destress and have some fun, this Cat Cafe is the best place to be! The staff was really friendly and great at providing instructions, timing and some tips. They were very knowledgeable and you could tell they really like what they do. My sister and I met some really adorable and friendly cats and kittens. Most were chillin' and relaxing til the snacks came out, then they all ran towards the staff. You're able to pet, play and feed them whenever the cats and kittens allow you too. The room was big enough to fit maybe 10-12 folks at a time. There's also an adoption wall where you could see the statuses of each. One kitten came up (Pinky), sat right next to me and then started to nap. I felt really special and relaxed. After months of work stress, I felt this place really helped with my mental and emotional state. I highly recommend this place and hope the next visit will be my time to adopt. read more

Established in 2016.

The Orlando Cat Cafe opened in September 2016 as the first cat cafe to successfully open in Florida! Since that time, we have welcomed more than 60,000 guests and have been featured in Catster Magazine, Orlando Business Journal and Yoga Magazine as well as numerous other media outlets. So, I went to Orlando Cat Café half-expecting Michelle Pfeiffer to show up in full Batman Returns Catwoman mode... sadly, she was a no-show. But honestly? We got the next best thing: a whole lounge of furry, four-legged divas giving us the side-eye like we were Gotham's latest criminals. The vibe here is equal parts coffeehouse and feline speakeasy--except instead of cocktails, the contraband is catnip (shhh, it's a secret). The staff plays it cool, but you can tell they're the real kingpins of the operation. Order a latte, grab a seat, and suddenly you're in the middle of the purring underground. It's clean, cozy, and full of cats who clearly know they're the stars of the show. One minute you're sipping coffee, the next you're negotiating armrest space with a Maine Coon that thinks it owns stock in the place. Given that we paid for this experience, we believe that more could have been done to ensure guest satisfaction, especially when staff were available to assist. It might be worthwhile to consider more proactive measures by your employees to facilitate better guest-cat interactions. When you hear CAT CAFE, you are expecting to enjoy your coffee time with cats at least 10 feet away or closer, (it supposed that you love cats, or what are you doing in a CAT CAFE?)... well, cats are 10 feet away in a closed ROOM, where you can access only with APPOINTMENT 24 hours before AND the entrance is $4 by kid / $8 adult for 1 hour inside, where you can also not touch TOO MUCH the animals because "THEY ARE STRESSED"... uuuu... yes... What an amazing day! I'm an avid cat lover and rescue volunteer so my mom surprised me with a trip to the Orlando cat cafe when I was in town visiting her. We had such a great time. The cats are adorable, and the attached cafe has amazing wraps, desserts and coffee beverages! Great place to adopt from. They work with a large shelter called "the Animal league" that's been open since the late 1980's so it's a great opportunity for the cats to get a chance to be adopted. They even do private events (think birthday party with cats etc), "yoga with cats" and have all types of special events and fundraising opportunities. Can't wait to go back! read more

We love the Orlando Cat Cafe (and attached Minch Coffee)! The atmosphere is great, friendly volunteers, and there are always plenty of adoptable cats/kittens. We adopted our two current cats from here in January 2025 and they are living their best lives. We love the partnership between Orlando Cat Cafe and the SPCA Florida. Well organized, owned by real cat loving people and great to see that in 10 years 3550+ cats are adopted. The cats were pretty active, some of them are lazy sleeping on couch which was fine. False advertisement. The cafe and the cat area aren't even owned by the same people so none of the money I spent in the cafe even goes to the animal league. I'm fine with making a small donation but $8 per person is ridiculous. Next time I'll just go to Starbucks and then go to the humane society where I know any donations I make will benefit animals in need not pay staff and exploit kittens. read more
