My experience with this clinic was very disappointing. I wanted to get a second opinion due to my condition. The only positive thing I can say is that they called me in quite quickly for being a first-time patient. However, when the doctor came into the room, I felt rushed, and he didn't even listen to my concerns. Plus, trying to get a note to stay away from the sun was a hassle. Clearly, my face had an allergic reaction from being exposed to the sun, and he was not even concerned about it. He prescribed me very expensive medications, and when I called the clinic to tell them that one of the medications costs $299.99 with insurance, they didn't even bother to change it to a lower-cost option or even to a generic brand. I felt burned, and I drove far to see this doctor. I'm not sure what is going on with dermatologists in Central Florida, but they are all collecting insurance money and co-pays without providing proper treatment. Absolutely love coming here to see Elena for my dermatology needs. I had fungal issues on both big toes and she cleared it right up. As soon as you check in you're seen, and I'm in and out in less than 10 mins. I love there is never a long wait. She listens to me and my concerns and tackles everything with confidence. This is a horrible place! These "providers" are beyond incompetent! I had a cyst in the middle of my chest. I went to Vitaly Blatnoy's office this March (March 2024). He told me that I should have surgery to remove the cyst, otherwise it will occur again and again and things will get worse. I asked about the scarring. He said the doctor who will be doing the surgery was trained as a plastic surgon and the scar may be noticable at the beginning but will fade soon. I saw him years ago and he did a good job on removing some dark spots on my earlobe so I trusted him and took his advice. I got the surgery on 3/22/2024 and the doctor who did the surgery was Mikhail Vaysberg and the surgery turned to be the worst nightmare I could ever imagine. It left me with a big, red, raised, hard, and itchy vertical scar 0.75 inches (2 cm) long with red horizontal stiches like spider legs. I have tried silicon scar tape, scar cream, but nothing helped. It's been over 5 month now, and the scar is still as big, red, raised, and itchy as before! This scar is 3.5 inches (10 cm) below my neck and right in the middle of my chest! So I can not wear most of my dresses, shirts without showing the terrible scar! I have consulted with some other skin doctors. They told me that no qualified doctor would choose to cut the skin virtically on a woman's chest, because the structure of the tissue. It seems that plastic surgery is the only way to improve the scar now! I have a friend who recently had a surgery to remove a cyst on her face. After the surgery, there was no scar, just a little red spot! This is such a big contrast to mine! Lessons I learned here, these two "doctors" are butchers. Don't trust them to do anything serious on your visible skin, because they don't care about their patients at all!! They don't deserve even one star. read more

Would never recommend this place to anyone I know! I came in for a skin breakout on my face that I never had before and was told it was everything else but what it actually was. I was given prescription cream for it and it made me break out even worse and even made my face itchy because of it I had to apply cortisone. After applying it (the cortisone) for several days I noticed my skin started to clear up. Long story short turns out I had eczema the whole time. THE DERMATOLOGIST COULDN'T TELL I HAD ECZEMA!! She also told me a darker spot on my face was a form of mole that happens to people when they're in their 30s and said it will never go away. Guess what? That also cleared up with just cortisone and tea tree oil balm. I really wish I read the reviews before coming here. Never again. read more

I am really pleased with my visit today. I'm used to waiting forever and usually the staff is super slow at most medical offices but the staff and the Doctors at this location are amazing. Elena Shumsky took her time to hear and address my concerns. I came in with a cyst on my chin that needed to be removed, bad back acne, some facial scarring from past facial acne, and wanted to do a skin cancer check. We were able to address and resolve everything so quickly. An appointment was made with the surgeon to remove my chin cyst. I was given antibiotics and a topical body wash for my back and chest acne (issued right away right in front of me instead of issuing prescription after I leave like most offices). Another appointment was made for a laser treatment for my facial scarring, and completed a skin cancer check. In all, I was in and out in under 25 minutes. I am honestly blown away at how well this location is run. I was able to get an appointment with Elena the same week. It seems like most medical offices nowadays have appointments that are not available until the following month. Looking forward to finishing up the rest of my treatments. Thanks Elena! read more

BILLING WARNING- I was billed 2 years after my appointment date because their billing department was not competent and then outsourced. I called the office to inquire why I was never billed in 2022 and they refused to forgive the charges or compromise on the amount. This billing oversight was extremely unprofessional, and their unwillingness to work with customers on a more reasonable resolution is disappointing. If I could give zero stars, I would. One star is too generous for this place. It's horrible. I went there three weeks ago for a bump on my back. It was hurting, and making my back very itchy. At that time, I saw Eleana Shumsky. She froze the bump, and said it would not bother me anymore. She was wrong. It continued to get irritated and itchy. I went on their patient portal last week, and made another appointment for three days ago, as the bump was still giving me problems, and causing my entire back to itch. I went in this past Monday morning for my appointment at 8:15 am, only to be told that I could not see the person I made the appointment with, Kala Garth, because she doesn't accept my insurance. I was told the ONE person in the office that I am allowed to see with my insurance is Elena. How is it possible that the entire office doesn't take the insurance, and the different people there take different insurances? I have never heard of that before. So she told me Elena won't be in until 10:00 am. It was 8:15 am when I got there. I had made this appointment five days prior. And NO one bothered to contact me and tell me this. I don't have a car, so I wasted money on a Uber there and back home. I was furious. The lady at the front desk told me I can either A-wait 2 hours until Elena gets there, or B-reschedule. I chose C-never come back to that office ever again. Stay far away from this place. It's a joke. read more

The people skills here are extremely lacking.... from the woman at the front desk to the doctor who saw me. The doctor was super condescending and didn't seem to care about my concerns at all. I cannot believe I just paid $100 (my insurance does not cover this place) to be seen for 10 minutes. I was told that I have a cyst and that there is nothing that can be done about it other than to use Neutrogena or Clean and Clear on it?? First of all I think I should have read the comments before visiting this business. Well, I have been attending with Dr. Elena Shumsky ARNP, her treatment has been the best but in these offices there is a terrible customer service. They never answer when you call the office, or they hang up the cell phone or better yet they do not give the Message the doctor and you have to be calling constantly and they don't give you any answer. The location is perfect for me since it's close to UCF. I am so thankful to the Dermatology Center and Elena for fixing my keloid because I went to another place before and they did not help me. I had a cyst that needed to be drained but when I got there the nurse was in the room for 3 minutes and said she couldn't do anything. She gave me an RX for antibiotics and told me to go to an urgent care. Of course they still charged me full price for an appointment even though they did nothing and she was in the room for 3 minutes. I did end up going to an urgent care and they were shocked that a dermatologist turned me away for a cyst. Do not bother going here. It is a waste of money and time. read more

Made an appointment here to deal with an infected cyst. When I saw a doctor I was told "we don't drain or cut out cysts here." She then wrote me a script for antibiotics while telling me that she didn't think they would be effective... I was a little surprised because what dermatologist can't deal with a basic skin condition like a cyst? And why didn't they just tell me that when I was making the appointment? I guess I should have read reviews before spending a lot of money at this place. I went 5 times for itching skin and every time I saw Paula. She prescribed 5 different prescriptions that were all over $50 for a tiny tube of ointment. Everytime I went in she would come up with a new theory of why I was itching but never could do anything but prescribe more ointment that I could apply to the itch. I told her I need to get rid of the itch and find out why it was itching and she changed story about what it might be again and sent me for some expensive bloodwork that insurance won't cover and when it came back she had receptionist call me and tell me to follow up with my primary and then to make appt with the actual doctor there. So after about $700 out of pocket she decided to blow me off. Never talked to me about results. When I asked why I now had to start over with the actual doctor I was told that Paula can do everything doctor can do. I guess except figure out why my skin is itchy and has rash. I guess they are pretty much in it to bleed customers and then ignore them. I definitely would never recommend this place at all for anything!! I have to go somewhere else now after listening to this non doctor ramble on not knowing anything and then tell me to see someone else. If she didn't know anything she should have brought the "doctor" in 8 weeks ago!! My husband kept telling me that he didn't understand why she kept prescribing ointment and not finding cause of the problem. I definitely should have listened to him. I made an appointment with this center after researching who took my new insurance. I saw great reviews on google and decided to give it a chance. I saw a nurse practitioner, rather than the featured doctor because he only works on wednesday's and his next available date was late may/early june. My appointment was at 9:45am and they took me right on time, which I was surprised because I was also a new patient. The place was very clean and everyone was really nice. possibly getting mircroneedling done there soon. overall, recommend. read more
