Bait and switch. They are utilizing my old review on their site when they actually had a decent doctor and when they didn't place people with just nurses' physicians. Horrible check out my other review on Google and the other one on here. I'm not sure why they have more than one listed for the same location. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY! They do not know anything about epilepsy at all! All they care about is lining their own pockets, and their staff sleeps literally on the job when they are supposed to pay attention to patients at the 5 day study. There are no neurologist that are present at their 5 day studies they only have RNs, and the nurses physician only come every other day for about 15 seconds in normal clothes, and they have no clue about grandmol seizures. They tell people they are crazy and need to see a psychiatric doctor instead as they don't have epilepsy. I have had epilepsy since 2012 and was paddled back to life in 2014 and was put on medicine, which has worked with slight adjustments to the dosage due to migraines and now because these people want money they give tests that they don't even know how to keep leads on patient's heads and dictate to me whom epilepsy and tell my mom and I that people can't die from epilepsy. That's a huge lie. I have lost two people from epilepsy. Stop lying to people Orlando Epilepsy Center. You are not number one in epilepsy treatment facilities Orlando Epilepsy Center you can't even put leads on properly they fall off during a SEIZURE NOT "EPISODE" as you call them.

It didn't work, of course I'm upset because both my wife and I were looking forward to something that we never got. They shouldn't be allowed to do business. They pray on the week and do not have an answer if you're a little different Matt who's supposed to call me back because he works on these situations has not called me back for six weeks. These guys are thieves do not use them. You will end up being very disappointed.

Plus, I wanted a practice closer to home as I was tired of the 30-minute commute. Based on the 4 and 5-star reviews I read, I decided to give this location a try. I was greeted warmly by the staff, and I stated I had both Medicare and Florida Blue supplemental insurance. The receptionist stated Dr. DeVoursney was accepting new patients. I also wanted to try a Doctor of Osteopathic given I'm in very good health and was looking for a physician that practices a holistic approach to healthcare and prevention, rather than treating disease or conditions. I was given an appointment date and various documents to complete to transfer my records to this location. On my second visit, I needed assistance in completing all the paperwork correctly. On this date, I got a 5-star employee named Shaquanda Sanders at the Front Desk. She was very friendly and welcoming and was quite knowledgeable on the paperwork process. She walked me through the questions I had, provided examples of how to fill out certain sections and was a joy to work with. She made me so comfortable and made the process a breeze. If Shaquanda is just one example of the caring and competent staff at this Center, I'm very much looking forward to my first appointment with Dr. DeVoursney in the Fall.

I've had the occasional delayed appointment but nothing unexpected for a medical office. For the most part my appointments are on time. I recommend Dr. Mitul Shah for a PCM. He's helped me get to a healthy state with the proper follow ups and referrals to specialist. He works with my medicals needs as they change. Doesn't question or disregards my concerns and always takes the steps to rule things out. Wonderful primary care physician.

Once I get there they make me wait just to tell me there is a problem with my insurance and to call them. After I did ALL the work for them and got my insurance to fix the problem they then told me I need to reschedule after making me fill out pages of paper work. They clearly do not respect people's time or health concerns. Having a patient come into an office with sick patients just to deny them an appointment is extremely unacceptable. Very unorganized and extremely no help at a time when patients need care the most. They should be ashamed. And to top it off their "screening process" of COVID and putting my temperature as 92.8 should make anyone rethink going into this office.

The anesthesiologist did not bill for a year so we didn't even know we had any bills left and then we received a bill for $1000 which if it was in Network would've been zero. We then had two family members have a colonoscopy in the last year also at this facility. The doctor was in net work the facility was in Network but the anesthesiologist again was out of network. We were billed $500 for each Colonoscopy and we're also not billed for nine months after the test was done. We were not informed that it was an out of network provider and they are now demanding payment. It is the facility that sets up the anesthesiologist so they are responsible for not using the proper provider for our services and not informing us of an out of network provider. Therefore I would not recommend them to other people and I would not use their services as they are not upfront and honest with their providers and insurance claims which leaves the customer owing large bills.

Instead, we were informed by the office manager that the appointment had never been confirmed on their end and that my father was being discharged from the practice due to an alleged no-show on 6/9 and rescheduled appointments on 6/26 and 6/30. To clarify: - My father never had an appointment on 6/9. Neither he nor I scheduled one, nor were we ever informed of one. - On 5/30, he was hospitalized at AdventHealth East Orlando and was later transferred to PAM Rehab Hospital in Winter Garden, where he remained through 6/13. He was physically unable to attend, or even be aware of any appointment during that time. - It turns out the 6/9 appointment was made by AdventHealth during his hospital stay without our knowledge or consent. - I called the office on 6/26 and 6/30 to reschedule due to my father's recent hemorrhagic stroke, which has left him with significant daily challenges. At no point was I told of a rescheduling or cancellation policy, nor was I warned that his status as a patient was at risk. I was simply given a new appointment for 7/2. To then arrive and be told that his appointment was unconfirmed and that he had been discharged, with no prior notice was shocking and deeply frustrating. The communication breakdown was unacceptable. I strongly advise against seeking care from this office, especially if you or your loved one is living with a disability. Managing a disability is hard enough without the added stress of poor communication, indifference, and a lack of compassion from a healthcare provider and their staff.
