We ordered the a bouquet to be delivered same day. The lady taking the order on the phone was great and they were delivered promptly (around 3pm and I ordered around 11:30am). Happy with everything, except the size. We paid for the "premium" size, which is the largest available and when I saw the flowers in person, they looked like the smallest of the 3 sizes. A great florist and an Oviedo staple. I've used Oviedo Florist for many years and have been satisfied (not sure how this is my first =review here actually!) They are seated right off of 426 and are easy to get to. There is more than enough parking in the small lot for how many customers they may have in the shop at one time. They are also easy to deal with over the phone. I generally like going in if I am able to whenever I need anything, because I get a chance to talk to the staff and asks for what I am looking for.....they have always been able to direct me to what they can put together and what's available in season currently. This last trip I went to order a corsage with my son for his homecoming date. THe whole experience was easy even though he was looking for something a little different than the norm. He told them, what he wanted, they bought out some flowers to show what it would look like and we ordered. On pick up it was a quick stop in on the morning of, and off we were - no fuss. Of course they do deliveries for arrangements that I've used in the past as well. Oviedo Florist is always friendly and fairly priced. Great to work with! read more

Wow... honestly unbelievable. This place must be rich bc they treat customers like they don't need any. I mean if you hate people don't work in customer service? I had two people call me asking the same questions. The man who called me first treated me like he was doing me a favor. I'm a purchasing customer not a beggar asking for free service. When I got my flowers delivered, I didn't like them so I politely asked if I can do an exchange (for a cheaper one too). I had a wonderful experience with Oviedo florist and am surprised to see their rating is as low as it is. Marlene was extremely helpful as I met with her on multiple occasions while planning my wedding. I called and spoke with Marlene to schedule a consultation and she was extremely friendly from the beginning. During the consultation, she was able to show me all the flower options she had that matched what I was looking for (I used sunflowers, burgundy roses, baby's breath, and eucalyptus). Marlene was awesome as she even arranged some centerpiece ideas with their vases and ones that I had brought in to give me a better idea. She was very good at explaining everything they had, the process of how they care for their flowers, and their delivery options. When she told me that she likes handing off the bouquet to the bride right before she walks down the aisle, I was pretty much sold. They were also so willing to keep the flowers fresh they delivered the flowers in water to the venue in the morning and went back to the venue later to setup the ones that were not in water as we put these around a hurricane globe. In addition, I was able to borrow some lanterns for no charge to use for my centerpieces as well. I loved all of my flower arrangements and all of the bouquets were absolutely gorgeous. I would not recommend this florist to anybody! I received a bouquet while in the hospital at Oviedo Medical Center. At first glance it was beautiful. However, I left the hospital about 18 hours after the arrangement arrived. I used to work for a florist in South Florida so I am very versed when it comes to taking care of stems, trimming, changing water etc. However, only two days after I got home the entire arrangement was looking awful. The roses died before even opening up. I called just to inform them of the issue and I got the run around. They were more concerned about "educating" me on floral care than the problem at hand. After speaking to the gentlemen about my problem he asked me to call back the following morning. I had no intention of doing so as I just wanted them to know what happened. He did assure me that they would make it right though. A few minutes later, he called back and said that he didn't have the authority to offer me another arrangement and that I needed to take it up with Vicki the following day. Again, I have no intention of calling, I don't need another arrangement. However, the professionalism from this establishment left a great deal to be desired. I will not follow up with them, and I will never do business with them in the future. It is obvious that customer service is not their forte. read more

The address they were delivered to is a new building and not easy to find, but I received a call confirming the location and that the deliverer made it successfully. Unfortunately our experience with Marlene and Oviedo Florist went from good to horrible. We went to them for flowers for my daughter's wedding. At first all was going well and my daughter, my partner and Marlene were working together to provide what my daughter wanted. We provided photos of what we would like and Marlene sent us photos of mock ups that worked with only a few changes needed. Then things went sideways. Less than two weeks before the wedding we got texts that they did not know what we wanted, did not have a deposit and that our items were going to cost more. Immediately tried to resolve, spoke to Marlene directly and tried to set up a call with the bride. When it was time for the call, Marlene did not pickup nor return our voicemail or text message. We went to the store to get some items we gave them to use for their estimate. We were verbally harassed, called liars and kicked out of the store for asking for our property back. I reached out to Oviedo Florist to see about getting a quote on having them do all the flowers for my Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony through their website and Ms. Marlene (the owner) responded back to me within a day. I went in and let her and fell absolutely in love with her and her staff's professionalism. She took time to sit down with me to start trying make a plan on what I wanted and never made me feel rushed, she always had patience with me when I had no clue what I really wanted. She gave me her opinion and input. Throughout the months leading up to the ceremony (November 2021), I would meet with her a few more times. She took my vision for a tropical/beach theme ceremony and reception and she brought it to life! When I say everything was perfect, I truly mean that!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I am so disgusted by the owner's behavior! From the moment I said "Hello?", he was so abrupt and rude. I asked him how he was doing and he kept rudely yelling, "How may I help you?".
