I went through all the details with him. After that, I inquired about his quotation for this job. He told me that it would be around $7,000. He told me that he would write up the estimate and send it to me afterward. When I got his written estimate, my jaw dropped to the floor. He raised the price from $7,000 to $12, 480.00. It blew my mind that he would raise the price by almost over $5,600 the next day. He is ridiculous. I don't think that he is a trustworthy person. Besides that, he was very unprofessional and selfish when making appointments for an estimate with me. When he made the 1st appt with me, he canceled at the last minute. Then we rescheduled another appointment. That day I rushed home from out of state to meet him. While I was on my way home for the appt., he texted me that he arrived 1/2 hour earlier. I asked him to wait for me because I would arrive on time. But he refused, he told me that he could not wait. Then we rescheduled the 3rd time, but he didn't confirm the time. To my surprise, he just showed up at my door without my confirmation of being at home. This guy does things according to his convenience and advantage. His way or no way. I wouldn't recommend this guy & his company to anyone. Think more than twice if you want to hire him!!!

They were both friendly and seemed to take the task with patience, which I appreciated. I didn't want to put too much work into it, because the room set up is pretty established and I just wanted a refresh, but obviously still wanted everything to look good! I'm glad I found these guys because that's exactly what I got. The process was really easy from start to finish - I filled out an online contact form on their site and got a call to get the ball rolling the next day. An estimator came to give me quote and went through the process - what color I should buy/was recommended and how much I should buy based on how many layers he thought I'd need. Since it was just two rooms, they said it could all be done in a day! We scheduled the painting for a few days later based on my schedule. They did a great job of not getting paint on ANYTHING and I didn't pay until everything was totally done. I paid via credit card but understood that they accept payment with Venmo and PayPall too which is awesome. Overall would highly recommend - painless process and great results!

It's like people bring the dust and leave it everywhere. And since it teach and a lot of students go through the the space I often need the service. Unfortunately there are also a lot of shady painters that don't do the job well, which annoys me so much ( it would any person with OCD). So I'm super pleased that I called these guys. In the time that they were here, he disappeared without notice twice for a week at a time. Leaving someone wondering around painting things at random just to stay busy. We have random paint on our storm windows, when the gutter people came it was discovered that Eric and crew had painted on rotten wood. It had to be replace and repainted. I even had to ask the gutter people to do touch up on places that AAA missed. We also received a bill for carpentry with no explanation, just a number. Now, in less than a year, a piece of the soffit has crashed to the ground and the paint is bubbling around the house. It's awful. As we explore what our options are, I thought I'd share some of our story. I'd think twice before contracting with Eric and AAA.

After assuring me he was on our side and would help pursue a refund, he went completely dark, just like the flooring company. Jim is a true artist. Seriously, when he's not making people's homes beautiful, he's making lovely…read moreworks of art -- and it shows in the quality and detail that he will bring to your house project. We have a prewar rowhouse with lots of finicky details and some unfortunate alterations over the years. So far we have hired Jim for two jobs, one to skim coat our dining room, after we stripped it down to the cracked and gnarly plaster, the other to patch up our master bedroom and then paint the walls and ceiling. The former looks like the day it was finished by off-the-boat Roman masons 125 years ago. The latter is a now maybe our favorite room in the house, not least because of the cool gold ceiling that Jim created in our sleeping nook. Beyond his skills, he is smart, clever, and professional, and he consistently gets the job done better and faster than expected, without charging an arm and a leg for it. Not sure we could recommend him more. But if we could, we would.
