I registered online (great option by the way) scheduled an appointment for Thursday to get an exam/x-ray. Come to find out they needed to be pulled. They were so accommodating and Maria explained to me so well of what the options were and how things could go. They were even willing to extract them for me the same day but I wasn't prepared. I scheduled for Friday morning instead (next day). During my visit I got to meet some of the nicest people that clearly LOVE their profession. Everyone from the front to the procedure itself were excellent in making my nerves calm for this. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Maria, Andrew, Sonia, Dr. Bhatti, and Amanda, for helping to guide me with patience and compassion for the situation I was in. You all made a nerve wrecking situation very pleasant and 3 days later I have 0 pain whatsoever (I've had 0 pain since the procedure at all which is outstanding). My hygenist, Baja, is wonderful and takes such good care of my teeth. The office is clean, attentive, and actually wants to take care of your teeth instead of just having you shell out for random procedures. They do a great job of answering phones during office hours and they even provide a list of amenities while you're getting your teeth cleaned or worked on so you can be as comfortable as possible. She is one of the reasons I continued coming back. Unfortunately, my experience with the front office has changed significantly. I referred a former friend to the practice, and her dental treatment later had complications because she did not follow the post-procedure instructions she was given. After I ended that friendship, I began noticing a dramatic change in how I was treated by the office staff. Whether those events are related or not, the difference has been hard to ignore. Over the past several months, I have been given conflicting information, have been told things that later turned out to be untrue, and, most frustratingly, my phone calls have gone unanswered or unreturned. The male and female at the front desk know exactly who they are. On multiple occasions, they assured me they would call me back, yet those calls never came. I should not have to call a dental office seven different times just to get an answer or a simple return phone call. That level of communication is unacceptable, especially for someone who has been a loyal patient for many years. I do not know whether Dr. Dorsey is aware of what has been happening. My concerns are directed at the front office, not at him or Julia. I truly hope he sees this review because I believe he would want to know if long-time patients feel overlooked. The nurse was very nice and listened and wrote everything I said for the doctor. Dr. Barry Loughber was fantastic! He introduced himself and made me feel comfortable. He explained everything in such a detail that I was very happy. I wish all doctors were like him. Medicine has changed so much but it's truly an honor when you find those doctors that show they care to take time with each patient to explain in detail everything.
