This will be long and detailed, since I can't express enough gratitude for how PHENOMENAL this place and the staff are here. I was dealing with wisdom teeth pain for 2 months and simply thought it was a tooth pushing. Each night was a headache and hard to sleep or even eat. I registered online (great option by the way) scheduled an appointment for Thursday to get an exam/x-ray. Come to find out they needed to be pulled. They were so accommodating and Maria explained to me so well of what the options were and how things could go. They were even willing to extract them for me the same day but I wasn't prepared. I scheduled for Friday morning instead (next day). During my visit I got to meet some of the nicest people that clearly LOVE their profession. Everyone from the front to the procedure itself were excellent in making my nerves calm for this. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Maria, Andrew, Sonia, Dr. Bhatti, and Amanda, for helping to guide me with patience and compassion for the situation I was in. You all made a nerve wrecking situation very pleasant and 3 days later I have 0 pain whatsoever (I've had 0 pain since the procedure at all which is outstanding). I looked at 4 other places before finally discovering this place and I'm glad I did. People like the staff here are the type that should train others in every profession when it comes to how to treat people with kindness and the ability to have positive impacts in their journey! Went for a molar extraction after the crown fell off and tooth broke (a different dentist did the crown years ago). I decided not to go for another crown and extract. I went same day, with an appointment, got x-rays, options, and extraction. They gave prescriptions and thorough verbal aftercare instructions, along with a pamphlet also explaining aftercare. I think all dental centers should be professional and easy like this. All staff were great and dentist friendly, although he did try to upsell other services. I had my wisdom teeth removed here a few years ago and it's now one of my greatest regrets of my life. They took the wisdom teeth out, sure. However in doing so they also displaced the disc in the left side of my jaw, preventing it from going into the joint fully. This has caused a bevy of other issues that I'll get to shortly. But first let's review how the staff treated me upon my letting them know that something was clearly wrong after my surgery. I had the classic post-surgery inflammation for a perfectly normal amount of time on the right side of my face, however the left side remained puffy and inflamed. I mentioned this at my post-op appointment, fearing infection in my teeth, and was given some steroids. Weeks later and with the entire run of steroids completed, I returned again with no improvement to the left side of my face. Keep in mind that after the post-op appointment, the staff here expected to be done with me, so once I returned the second time still with the same issue their attitudes changed. Now I was being brushed off and pushed out the door with the X-ray taken that proved there was no infection in my teeth, so therefore everything was fine. My face would disagree. Over time I learned to live with it as best I could. If I could only afford this shoddy place to remove my wisdom teeth I definitely couldn't afford any other kind of dental care. However this jaw displacement caused my muscles to compensate, leaving my left masseter muscle to grow HUGE. So huge, in fact, that it has since affected nearly every other muscle in the left side of my face leaving my face ENTIRELY asymmetrical. EMBARRASSINGLY so. It's also left me with near daily tension headaches and severe neck and shoulder pain. If there were any justice in the world, this establishment would be billed for all of the chiropractic care, physical therapy, botox, and emotional distress that their carelessness has forced me to seek out in order to fix the issue that they caused. Which still to this day, has not been fully fixed. TL;DR: They'll take care of your teeth, but they'll screw up your jaw so bad you'll end up looking like a melted version of yourself. When I cracked my wisdom tooth I quickly found out how painful it was and how hard it was going to be to get an appointment with a dentist, who would refer me to a specialist, who would book me for a consultation, to finally be able to extract my tooth. While that may be the case with most dentist that was not my experience with the Extraction and Denture Center. I was able to be seen the same day as a walk-in. Within an hour of arrival, I had my tooth taken out and was on my way home. The entire staff was amazing and did everything to make sure the process was as quick and painless as possible. Since it was only a single extraction they used a local anesthesia, which gave me the ability to drive myself to and home from their office. Pricing was more than fair, given how quickly they could see me. While I would never hope to crack another wisdom tooth, but if I did I know exactly where I would go again. This place was great & actually affordable. I woke up with tooth pain in so much pain and was referred by a family member to go here. I knew I needed a root canal but pulling a tooth is a lot cheaper than a root canal when you don't have insurance or do. I had pain Wednesday night, tracked down my last X-rays Thursday morning because the initial appointment would be about $45 cheaper. Then I was in their office by 2:30 the last time they take walk-ins. They let me know the tooth could be saved but knew it was cheaper to get rid of it. They gave me antibiotics & some pain meds to get me through the night that would also help after I got the tooth pulled. Went in Friday afternoon, I was terrified as I don't do well with pain it took a min to numb it. But they pulled it before I knew it. I was in & out within 15/20 mins. No complications or problems and healed well although I have a little whole back there.lol I highly recommend this place. read more

At 67 years of age I finally needed dentures and was concerned about the level of pain I might have from getting 17 teeth extracted all at once, however after reading the great reviews, I decided that he was the dentist for me and elected to have his Twilight Sleep Sedation for my 17 extractions. I can confirm he is a very skilled dentist & also an expert at Twilight Sleep, I had no pain whatsoever not even the IV he put in my arm was not painful at all because of his gentle technique. I felt no pain at all during his surgery or after his surgery. Just so minor swelling for a few days but no pain whatsoever, I do not even need to use any pain medication at all. It was truly amazing to me. I am very pleased and happy I had my extractions done by this excellent dentist. I can completely recommend Dr. Rivero, as a great dentist. read more

Dr. Carlos Rivero and his staff (especially Allie) were non-judgmental about my past dental procedures. They made me feel welcomed and explained every step of the process. Dr. Rivero was able to multitask and deal with several patients at once and was helpful and honest while explaining procedures to other customers. If you're from out of town (like me) or if you're a local with an emergency, you will not find many places better than this for dentures or extractions. One of my fillings came loose and seemed about to fall out during the holidays. Unfortunately my preferred dentist is out until January 5th but his office did a great favor in referring me to this practice. Came in this Saturday (at 10am) and they took an x-ray, Dr. Rivera assessed the situation, got me prepped and taken well care of. In the time I waited for treatment I noticed how well maintained and clean they kept the treatment areas. The assisting hygienist wiped down all the equipment which patients come in contact with plus the seats as soon as they completed the checkup. Dr. Rivera was great when I mentioned my problem with needing extra novocaine/procaine in the to be treated area. He applied enough so that I didn't feel any pain there. From Crystal the receptionist who watched my Autistic daughter colored with her while I get my teeth extracted (I guess they thought the trauma of her seeing the blood would freak her out.) The wait is for no longer than 25 minutes, and when they get you behind those doors it gets up and personal where the folks on the other side of the door don't know what's going on. These oral surgeons ask you what you need done after tell them they get to work with a team of oral surgeons putting their heads together and then you're on your way. Sharing their opinions with you to tell you what's best for you. And in less than a week your NEW Smile is as good as when your baby teeth left your head. I received many compliments already. This clinic is a no nonsense, one stop shop to get that bad tooth removed and will get you in and out. Download and print the forms at home and you can fill out the paperwork and just hand it to the receptionist when you walk in. As your already in pain if your getting your bad tooth out, the last thing you want to do is sit there with a clipboard and fill out paperwork. While your at it, do a screen print of the 10% Yelp check in and hand it with the forms and they will discount it without you fumbling with your phone while your sitting in the chair. I have had an extraction before and Dr. Rivero is very gentle and talented compared to the other one. He will give you plenty of numbing jell on a q-tip and then very slowly inject the Novocaine and after that little pinch, you will have no more pain. You don't need the twilight. He's that good. I opted to get the Bone Replacement Graft to make certain the gum healed up with a solid bone structure for a rock solid implant at least 6 months from now. It may sound like alot to pay an extra $250, but that is a real bargain. If you have to have a graft procedure and they need to slice your gum open and graft it after the extraction, it will not be nearly as solid and will set you back well over $1,000. His prices are very affordable. They don't play with insurance and you must pay 100% and then fight the insurance company if you have one on your own. This keeps the price down and they have a posted fee schedule and nothing to hide like other places. read more

Called and made an appointment for 2 hours later that day. Was x-rayed 5 minutes after walking in. Had a tooth extracted. The whole experience was 30 minutes and I was out the door. Some things that may ease your mind. 1. The location isn't great. I was questioning what I was in for when I saw the building and where it is. Thankfully I trusted all the good reviews. 2. Total costs with no insurance was $275. This was as a new patient, with x-ray, consultation, routine extraction of 1 molar with novocaine, writing RX for painkillers. 3. The x-ray and consultation was great. They have a modern x-ray that gets your whole mouth in 1 quick scan. 4. I came in asking for a tooth pulled and he immediately told me that the tooth could be saved with a root canal... even though I don't believe they offer those. So they definitely aren't pressuring. I honestly thought too much of my tooth was broken for a root canal and have had multiple friends lose their tooth within 5 years of a root canal anyway. So I decided to save the money to fix some surface cavities to prevent this from happening again and also save toward a permanent implant to replace this tooth next year. (This location pulls a tooth and does an implant for less than many dentists charge for a root canal). 5. They went over my whole x-ray with me even though I was only there for 1 tooth. He said I had no other teeth that were anything like the bad tooth. Was nice to hear this isn't going to keep happening anytime soon. 6. Actually pulling the tooth took maybe 3 minutes? It's definitely weird how much force you can feel (without pain). I was sure the tooth wasn't even wiggling yet, but it was OUT. Done. 7. I never even felt the first novocaine needle, which surprised me. Then I got a ton of novocaine shots but didn't feel them. 8. Got 2 rx... 600mg ibuprofen and an opioid in case. 9. It's day 5 since the extraction. I never needed the opioid and only ever took 400mg of ibuprofen at a time. Today I only took 200mg and might not take anything tomorrow. Jaw feels lightly bruised, but no other pain. I seem to be healing very well. I never needed an ice pack or anything. 10. Aftercare sucks, but that's certainly not their fault. There's a hole in you mouth that you have to baby for a few weeks. I'm really glad I drove an hour out to have this done here. It came down to the positive reviews and pricing transparency on their website (which is exactly what I was charged with no hidden costs). I also liked that extractions are what they do day in and day out. I have a feeling a lot of people who need an extraction are embarrassed because they haven't been to the dentist in years... well I'm sure these guys have seen the worst with all the extractions they've done. read more

Every amazing review you read here is correct. I came in a lot of pain due to one hell of a cavity in a molar, which I knew had to be yanked ASAP. The woman working the front desk (so sorry I forgot her name) was very sweet, and even asked if I used Yelp in order to get 10% off my visit. All of the staff in the back were very friendly, and the woman who performed my X-rays was very gentle, as she knew I was in a lot of pain. My x-rays were explained to me thoroughly, as well as my options, and I felt no pressure regarding one procedure or the other; the doctor (a younger woman, sorry I'm horrible with names!) was very up front and honest with me about my options and what I could expect in the future should I choose to go with either. I was given local anesthetic shots into my gums and cheek, and again the doctor was very gentle and talked to me the whole time. I don't typically do well with anesthetic, so I ended up needing about 6-7 shots (lost count yeeesh) but again this was expected as it is typical for me, and I didn't see it as an error on her part. Through this process, and through the actual extraction, she talked to me and explained why she was doing certain things, and was reassuring and kind. It was actually pretty lovely and did a lot to soothe my nerves. I honestly can't say enough great things about this place, and I wish I could come here for my routine visits as well! Was in Orlando for business and had a problem with a denture. Thew screwed up mu denture and made it worse. I went to my regular doctor and he cant figure out why they reigned the denture the way they did. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the young man that I dealt with was friendly and I think they gave it their best but I do not believe they have enough experience. The denture was just as loose as it was when I brought it to them. They charged me full price but only gave me a soft reline. I went to get a tooth extracted today and as much as I don't enjoy the dentist it was really a pleasant experience. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Rivero is the Michael Jordan of Dentistry. He is super competent, listens to his patients, is not rushed and makes sure that you are totally comfortable and does everything to make it as pain free as possible. You can tell he is really invested in his patients and is really good at what he does. The outside appearance of the facility had me a tiny bit apprehensive but inside it's all state of the art and professionalism at it's best. I had the best experience with them when my face was swelling and I couldn't open my mouth on Good Friday. I needed someone to take my wisdom tooth out that Friday evening because for some reason the pain because unbearable. They took me in right as they were closing to help me when every other place I called said "No it's Good Friday and doctors are leaving early" so I would have had to wait the whole weekend with that pain if it wasn't for them.
