I had my first breast augmentation performed in 2007. I had them redone by Dr. Matas here in Orlando in July 2018. That surgery left me with dimpling and pain 1 month post surgery. I felt Dr. Matas butchered me. I had a chronic rash as well. He left me with scars that went no where and an OP report that was false. His staff was terribly rude and always rushed me in and out and even tore my bra and bandages off of me the next morning post OP.!. My husband and I were determined to find the Best Reconstruction Surgeon's in the state of FL. After many consultations and stress we landed in Dr. Patel's office. The reason I chose his practice was because I saw his videotaped surgeries posted on YouTube. He exposed his true gifts for the world to see. The fact that he uses a no touch, surgical funnel approach to insert implants caught my attention. He works with Dr. Paul. Having 2 surgeons working on you is better than one. Less exposure to infection, 2 view points on symmetry and 4 eyes and different experiences that they both bring to the process. From how they handle their patients emotional state. They give of their time. They fixed my horrific and not easy case. They help guide you to trust that what will happen while u are entrusting them to your care will be a positive result. Just meeting them both will put you at ease. They do not offer false promises they simply live and work by the Golden Rule: Honor comes first. These 2 men did and I believe give their best to every single patient that crosses their path. Their true belief system is unmatched. My results are fabulous. I went from a wrecked, high profiled, botched Barbie doll to a natural looking woman. They even went a little bigger in size to round out the fullness to drop the breasts down and to give them the perfect shape. I couldn't be happier with the entire staff! I originally visited Dr. Patel for some trauma I received to my hand. (See original review below) His knowledge on all of the tiny little pieces of my hand and the medicine behind it blew me away. A real brainiac this one. But I suppose that's what you want out of someone that's going to take a scalpel to any part of your body. Since my hand surgery I've visited Dr. Patel again for Botox (Shhh! Don't tell anyone) and I'm planning to have a minimally invasive procedure done this year (a lady never shares). Review to be updated after my results; but if they're anything like my hand or the other before/after's I've seen, my husband is going to enjoy his new younger wife! After injuring my hand cooking (let's just say it looked like my hand got in a fight with a meat slicer...and lost. Mandoline-1, Sarah-0) I quickly looked for the best specialist I could find to repair the damage. Did you see the bio on Dr Anup Patel? Yale med school? Looks like he got an MBA while he was there. Was that just for fun? He sits on all sorts of boards and committees. Anyone with that much schooling has to be good. Sure enough, he was. Within 24-hours of my injury, Dr Patel was able to do a consult and get me into the ER to clean out the wound and repair. Thank heavens I chose him. I ended up needing plastic surgery which he specialized in. He was thorough, very knowledgeable, and professional. A doc that got down to business right away. As an anesthesiologist, I initially met Dr. Anup Patel in the operating room. I observed as he performed many technically challenging reconstructive surgeries and as he cared for many of our complex patients. I then became the patient, and I chose Dr. Patel as my plastic surgeon. For several years, I had considered earlobe reconstruction. Although I always appreciated the shape of my earlobes, I had gaping holes, measuring close to 1 cm, due to years of sleeping with stud earrings in place. I did not wear earrings, fearing the earrings would pull through the holes and rip the earlobes in halves. Then, two years ago, I underwent earlobe reconstruction by Dr. Patel. In clinic, under local anesthesia, he excised the skin within each hole and carefully extended each hole through each earlobe. He then sutured the two pieces together, leaving a small notch at the tip of each earlobe. During the healing process, he explained, I would notice my earlobes return to their original shape. And he was correct. Six months after the initial procedure, Dr. Patel re-pierced my reconstructed earlobes in their original shape. And now, two years after the initial procedure, I can wear any type of earring, and I am more confident about my overall appearance. Dr. Anup Patel is an exceptionally gifted plastic surgeon. He is also a genuinely good person with a good heart. As a colleague, I have the utmost respect for him, and as a patient, I trust him wholeheartedly. Dr. Patel and staff are a one of a kind team. The office is located in a prime central location for easy commute with onsite parking. Staffing members extremely helpful to your needs, as a single father they have gone beyond the norm to accommodate my family with same day appointments. Dr. Patel is a licensed surgeon so rest assured your procedure will show dramatic results with little to no down time. Dr. Patel is completely fair and honest. Dr. Patel Refused to charge me for a scheduled follow up visit simply because no treatment was needed at that time. Doc gained my respect right then. Dr. Patel has also stayed late to accommodate me and my boys by the way who also love this Doctor and staff. Short story. I was initially very nervous about the idea of botox and needles to my face; however a lot of my friends had been going to Dr. Patel over the last several months, so he was highly recommended. Being older I have been to many docs but Dr. Patel is one that really stands out. He has compassion and showed true dedication to me as a patient.
