Warning Fancy Pets Groomer Injured Cat…read more I took my cat (Bagheera M1y) to the grooming salon Fancy Pets Grooming Boarding & Day Care located at Regal Center 870 S Sun Drive Suite 1042 Lake Mary FL 32746 on Friday evening at 4.30 PM for a bath. When I picked him up, I asked them if everything went well and they did not report anything to me. I paid the bill and a decent tip and got him home that's when I noticed his energy was down & he was hobbling . Upon closer inspection I noticed almost all nails on his hindlegs were bleeding (pics below). He was also shedding whiskers. I stopped the flow and rushed him to the urgent vet immediately who examined him. She confirmed that the nails were cut badly and one of them was splintered. She also mentioned that he shed whiskers because of the stress/trauma he went through at the salon. He was administered 2 shots for antibiotics and anti inflammatory and given 3 day dosage at home. He is currently in a collar for a week until all injuries are healed and currently not eating very well. It is heartbreaking to watch him hurt and in pain. I called the business on Saturday morning to explain the situation. Instead of offering a courtesy of empathy, one of the owners Manny Santiago denied that any such thing could have taken place. He refused to believe the mountain of evidence I emailed him along with the vet bills, medicines and nail pictures etc. The owner has not bothered to call me inspite of my repeated requests. They refused to re-imburse the vet expenses or their own grooming fees and have ghosted me. Do NOT use this business as they are extremely unprofessional and also do not care about the animals more than their bottom line. I hope no other fur baby or pet parent goes through this.

We love Zoom Room Longwood! Isabella has been helping us train our puppy Beau since he was 14 weeks…read moreold, now he's 4 1/2 months. We have a big boy, a Bernese mountain dog to be exact, and we wanted a training facility that would allow him to socialize. Not only that, the group classes help me train him with distractions, and that has helped us tremendously when we take Beau out into the world. We have already gotten so many compliments on how well behaved he is for his age. Granted, you have to put the work in. Isabella is an incredible facilitator, but ensuring Beau gets mini training sessions at home with what we've learned in our group training sessions is what has allowed Beau to soar as a pup. I truly can see the dog he will become, and that's thanks to Zoom Room. All in all, if you're looking for a place to challenge your dog and socialize them, come to Zoom Room Longwood!

A great sales pitch with a ton of upsells. An expensive package offered as the "right one" for our…read moredog turned out to be the minimum package available for any dog. A package sold on convenience and flexibility turned out to be the complete opposite. Shame on us for not doing our homework and reading the fine lines of the agreement. Although classes are held various times throughout the week if you schedule to attend and have to cancel within 24 hours you will still be charged for that class. Even though there are other classes throughout the week you could attend. Life happens and changes need to be made on occasion but with this company, there is "nothing we can do". I could understand if this were a private lesson and someone had scheduled their time specifically for us but when multiple classes are already scheduled why the hassle? Once you commit to the minimum package of 24 sessions, you will own it whether or not you choose to move forward, so be sure this is the right program for you and your pet. There is no flexibility. We asked to cut our commitment in half and were flat-out denied and then subjected to a condescending speech about how dogs need training and how owners need to commit to the training. We were willing to work with him since we committed, but he was not. It was all or nothing. All of this was from the owner who stated there was "nothing he could do". You're the owner, there is everything you can do. In the end a refund of less than half our original output was given which made the cost of two private lessons ( our puppy had not completed all vaccinations so we couldn't do a group session), one group session, and two canceled sessions of around $400. Shame on us for not doing a better job of vetting this company. If you are a first time puppy owner then perhaps this place will be helpful. There are many positive reviews but the program was not for us. Our private lessons were basically one-on-one with the trainer getting questions answered. The group lesson was loud, chaotic, and disjointed. We felt it would be better to have sessions where we could address the specific needs related to our pet. The bottom line is I blame myself for being too hasty and assuming this company had our best interests in mind. We should have known better and not allowed the sales pitch to draw us in. We bought a service, I get it. However, services were not rendered. They had already made money from us and spent no money or man hours that could not be recouped. The condescending speech and unwillingness to work with us was a true surprise. Will the training itself do any good for you and your pet? Who knows, I choose to cut my losses and move on. The cost of doing business with this caliber of customer care is not worth it.
