The courts are nice and well lit and well laid out. Some of the courts are pretty close together for when teams are playing on all courts. But everyone has been very respectful of that. The entry area does feel a little crowded with the juice bar and all the seating there. But it is clean and well done. This is my second time out here to support my mom in a tournament. And honestly the tournaments are pretty well run! The speakers they have only at the front so if your on the courts you have to pay close attention to hear the announcements. read more

What a great find! The spot I went to (Pickle X) yesterday didn't have any open courts today so I asked them if they recommended anywhere else I could play right at that moment for pickleball and they said ORS They had such good options with being a weekday before 4p, you can play for 7 hours for just $8 then after that until they close for $12. Playing continuously with little to no breaks in between definitely made it feel like a workout. There were hardly anyone there in the weekday morning You can get your own court or jump in with people. It was great to practice, train and play some great games. This was my first time and the staff were so nice and accommodating. We reserved an hour slot and it was pretty affordable . The space is big and they have a cafe inside. There's gear you can purchase as well if needed. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

It's a good space and you definitely don't have to wait around too long, but definitely not beginner friendly. My fiance and I haven't played in a while so we're a little rusty. They all seemed very good and that they play a lot. I'm not hating on anyone, but the people just weren't welcoming. They have a rule where you can't play singles, but when it came to me and my fiancé's turn no one wanted to step in and play us. I get it we're way below their level, but everyone starts somewhere. Indoor racket sports facility on OBT. The first time I came here, I was on my way to Florida mall and made a pit stop because I thought they might have pickleball paddles for sale but stumbled into what looked like a quinceañera instead? This was months ago but learned recently that this place can also be booked out for parties, which is cool. My recent visit here was for the Viet Pickleball Club tournament and was blown away by the organization of it all! The indoor pickle ball courts, although very close to each other, were super nice to play at. If you're a fan of lobbing for pickle ball, I would warn that since it's indoor, you can't lob quite as high as you could for outdoor courts. The facility was clean overall and with spaces to also play ping pong and badminton. They also have a "kitchen" ish area for food and drink. Not sure how this place is for regular play but I would definitely visit if I was in Orlando and it was raining to play. read more

My husband's company will host social event for their employees every so often and this past Friday they had an event at Orlando Racket Sports and significant others were welcome to come along. The company reserved two pickleball courts for us to play on for two hours. I've never played before but it was so much fun. I'm not even a sporty girly but I really did enjoy this. They had other sports as well. It was such a simple concept but so fun and the place was clean and organized. All the staff was friendly and they also have a juice/smoothie bar which was excellent! I had a banana coffee smoothie and the staff member recommended adding chocolate protein to it and I LOVED it! Better than any I've had at competitive smoothie shops. My husband and I would definitely come back. We had a great time! It's great for families, friends, couples, everyone! There were lots of courts and while there were lots of people it didn't feel too crowded. The area it is located in is not the best area of town but I'd certainly recommend for day time or earlier evening. read more

Came to Orlando Racket Sports for Orlando Advanced Pickelballs Thursday night session. Beautiful facility with a bunch of courts. The lighting was OK, could have been brighter. The facility seemed well maintained. The bar/food/smoothie place was closed, which was unfortunate. We played for over 4 hours, well past 10pm which was awesome, they basically let us play as long as we wanted without closing. In an area where I'm sure there is abundance of outdoor play year round, it was cool to see a dedicated indoor facility. Hope to return when I'm in the area! read more

Extremely clicky and non inclusive. Came here for open play.There were three groups playing aaron's group simon's group scott's group all uninclusive and no one else that is playing. The sweet gallot the front one I called said there was plenty of people but did not understand these were groups even though they're open play they are groups playing that are not inclusive unbelievable. With clear one sports 9 courts You can see people playing on their webpage and their sign in.So you have an idea how many people are playing and who is playing with open play. Fun place to play pickleball! I was visiting Orlando for a conference and wanted to play pickleball with some friends. They offer open play during the week, which was important since there were only 3 of us. The $8 guest pass was reasonable and staff were very friendly. Other customers were friendly, too, and several joined us for a match. The courts themselves could use a little improvement. There was a crack in the concrete down part of our court that created funny bounces if the ball hit it. Overall, it was a great place to play and I'd go there again if I was in town. read more

Nice facility, friendly staff and a good value for 8 dollars per day. Before leaving to play at ORS, I called and was told it was busy with numerous players. Turns out the reserved courts and league players made up 90% of the players. I ended up playing on court with mostly beginners, working with them on techniques and drills. They were pleasant and accommodating. Towards the tail end, we did get 3-5 games in. While it is possible, I caught ORS on a off time or day, they should consider having a sign up system to gauge the level of players to improve transparency for those travelers looking to drop in looking for competitive play. read more

Was in town for a convention and squeezed in 2 lessons as well as played a few games with members. People were friendly and Jonn was a great instructor. Really needed the exercise squeezed in between all of the traveling and work and this was just perfect. I am from out of town and took a private lesson with Jon. He was wonderful and has an eagle-eye and helped me to reconstruct my serve and drop shots (from scratch). As a former VB coach, i appreciated his attention to detail and ability to pull skills back and re-build them again. I didn't have a chance to play but the facility looks GREAT! I am a 72 year old novice from out of town. I had 3 pickleball lessons with Jon and they were excellent. I'm not particularly spry and Jon knew exactly how hard to push me. Found this place as I was looking for an indoor club to work out due to the outside unbearable heat. Scrolling through their website, I saw numerous pickleball lessons offered by coach Jon. With some skepticism, I decided to sign up for a semi-private lesson. To our surprise, coach Jon was impressively knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and not to mention, super funny . In only one hour, we could see significant improvements in our skills. The next day, I signed up for his drop in clinic which again tremendously helped with my serves and movements. Another semi-private lesson is scheduled for tomorrow. Since we are from CA visiting Orlando for only a couple of weeks, we hope to learn as much as we possibly can from coach Jon before leaving.
