A small group of us celebrated a friend's birthday by coming here and it was so fun! From the front desk staff to Chris (manager) and our guides Keith and Josh were all so friendly and helpful! I had a recent hip injury and they were so thoughtful to let me know when I was getting to obstacles that might aggravate it and gave us options for dealing with that, lightheadedness in the heat, etc. They gave great explanations of the safety protocol and how to operate on the course. It was so much fun and a good balance of fun and challenge, each level of the course getting progressively more challenging. Being in the trees definitely helped us to beat the Florida heat, but I highly recommend selecting an earlier reservation like we did and bringing water or using their water option. To balance out the nasty review I just left for a hotel, I wanted to do something positive! This place was perfect for a beautiful Christmas Eve. For Christmas, we decided to head to Florida. Not one of my favorite states for many reasons, but that's another story. We made reservations for a family of four and arrived during the morning wave. My boys are 12. We had so much fun! Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE trees. So, to play among the trees was so lovely. We went through the entire course. I believe it took us an hour and a half. I was the caboose for my group and kept moving steadily. There were a few areas where you can opt to detour harder courses but we did them all. Honestly, your core strength will be tested on some of the sections. Luckily, our group never held up anyone behind us. So glad we went before the next crowd as the sections can get backed up if you're behind a slow group. Go early and be strategic. Assert yourself to be first in your group if you suspect newbies that might be slower. They have water stations but you do have to pay for that perk. Staffing was unremarkable. They did their job outfitting us briefly and explaining the clips for locking in and unlocking on the course. To conclude, we had a great time and would do it again. We had so much! I thought this was a ziplining park but it more like an obstacle course through the woods. Bring your own bottle of water to clip to your body. Otherwise buy the water packing. We arrive at 11:30 even though our time was at 12:00. They gather all the groups and demonstrate what to do. We started at 12:00 and ended our day around 3:30! We didn't even do the last obstacle course. Think of Indian Jones with old bridges. Or American ninja warrior but with harness. Lots of upper body strength & balance. There was some zip lining. Fun treks. Very low staffed. Went there at 11. Took almost an hour from check in to getting gear to getting instructions. And then we were never told that 2:15 is the deadline for going onto harder level treks. Being a first timer and with a big group, it took almost 2 hours for 2 levels and then we were not allowed to get on the higher ones. Not fair. We had 8 yr old kids in our group and there was no one to help or assist them. They were literally on their own. We drove all the way from Miami for this experience and it did not disappoint! We had a great time climbing trees and testimg out body's limits. People usually come to Orlando for the themed parks, but if they knew this gem was nearby, im sure more people would put it in their itinerary. The only downside was that they close the last few courses around 1 PM so if you have a lare reservation (like 11:30AM) you have to rush through the whole thing in order to get all of them done. You must come here if you are into climbing and outdoors type fun!!! I came with my husband and dad as a late birthday gift I received and we had the absolute best time! I had done ropes course type activities in the past, but this was by far the most fun and most challenging course I've been on. There are 4 different courses that go from easiest to hardest, and you are able to do as many or as few as you'd like/feel comfortable doing. My father completed the first 3 courses and felt quite exhausted after (in the best way possible), and my husband and I decided to finish it out with all 4 courses and we are so glad we did! We were in a morning group, which we highly recommend due to the Florida heat. Also, there were only five people total in our group including us 3, so it was quite a personalized experience! The place was amazing. The owners accommodated my older daughter, even though we did not do any kind of reservation. I do advise making reservations. We got to the place. Everything was nice and clean. We were processed very quickly and waited for a group of people to get ready so the group can go to the training area. Once there, the instructor gave everyone a lesson on what to do and then everybody had enough opportunity to practice and making sure they get their skills up. Afterwards, everybody proceeded to the starting point, and everyone moved in their own pace. My daughter was great and unfortunately, halfway through her first part everybody got rained out. Everyone was asked to finish and come down from the tree lines and everybody ended up waiting in the pavilion for the rain and lightning to pass. As the time was taking longer, the owners offered a rain check to come back at a later time however, we decided to wait out the storm as we weren't sure when the next time for us it would be. It didn't take long for the rain to pass, and then we were back at the spot. We started and finished off everything with a zip line. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. You don't have to be super fit to do it. But it definitely is much fun when you have a big group creates a form of competition. Also, there is one area that's called red line that one is for adults because kids under a certain height won't be able to reach the assisting rope. read more

I had a very disappointing experience. I visited the adventure park and my sunglasses fell out of my bag -- I only noticed they were missing on my way home. I immediately called the place to report the lost item, and the next day they called me back saying they had found my sunglasses and that I could come pick them up. Since the location is not close to where I live, I was only able to return two weekends later. When I arrived, the sunglasses had "disappeared." The woman at the front desk acted like she didn't know anything, but thankfully one of her coworkers mentioned he had seen the sunglasses there the previous Saturday, so I was hopeful they'd find them. They didn't. I then spoke with the manager, Chris, who said he was aware of the situation and that they would take my contact information and let me know once the sunglasses were found. A whole week passed with no follow-up. My husband then decided to go in person. Everyone we had spoken with before acknowledged the situation and said the sunglasses were somewhere on-site. Turns out, they employ a thief who stole my sunglasses, and they have no way to prove it because there are zero security cameras anywhere in the facility. Taking responsibility, they gave my husband $100, which I appreciated -- it's always good when adults own up to mistakes. The problem is, the sunglasses were worth over $200. I cannot recommend a place that knows they have a thief on staff and does nothing about it. read more

We had a phenomenal time at our treetop adventure today! Easy, super organized check in, training & demos, clean bathrooms, and friendly helpful guides conveniently situated along the course to encourage everyone along and not shame you if you needed to bail out in the middle of the course. We did get the unlimited water package, which was definitely worth it in the Orlando summer heat and humidity. Most of our group actually did finish the course, thanks to a few hints along the way from our awesome guides. The harnesses along with the gear training helped ease everyone's fears about being so high up in the trees, so it was totally ok to keep going along the course without the fear of falling. Also there is a zip line "reward" at the end of each course so it helped move all of us along. Super fun day! U down wit' O.T.T.? Yeah, U should be. OTT (Orlando Tree Ttrek) is a fun and potentially challenging set of high ropes courses located just SW of Disney. If you're a SEAL, a rock climber, or a veteran of American Ninja Warrior, Orlando Tree Trek will NOT provide you with a challenge, BUT it will provide lots of fun for the typical family! Unlike some ropes courses, OTT (yeah, U know me), is set up in a forest, so you're climbing, swinging, balancing, traversing, zipping, and in at least one case, crawling, among the trees. There's plenty of natural shade (at least at the lower levels) but, surprisingly, there are not TOO many mosquitos. In general, there are 4 courses, each more difficult than the one before. Depending upon your levels of experience and fitness, OTT will take between 1 hour and, maybe, 3 hours to complete. If you're up for it, you could probably go through any course, or all of them, more than once. After checking in, signing a waver, and being fitted with your safety harness, you'll get approximately 20 minutes of general ropes and safety instruction. The instructor will lead you through the (optional) demo course. Note that the instructors do not routinely accompany you while on a course, but they are always available for help if need be. There are also two "kids only" courses and a 425 ft zip line. Prices vary, and many discount coupons can be found online. Our experience at Orlando Tree Trek was amazing. The instructors are friendly, informative and compassionate. It is self guided, so it's important to pay attention to the safety lessons and move with intent from obstacle to obstacle. There are 4 courses and a large zip line. The courses each increase in height and difficulty. We were able to complete the first 3 courses in our 2 hour window. The obstacles require your full body, so be ready for an exciting and focused full body workout all while having fun! I would recommend bringing water, or purchasing their unlimited water package to ensure you stay hydrated. All in all it was a 5 star experience filled with the right amount of fun, strength, and challenge! It is also reasonably priced considering the experience and the amount of obstacles there are to do! I had a blast and very much look forward to coming back soon! Also my brother forgot to bring sneakers (flew in out of state) and one of the employees was kind of enough to lend him shoes. This place was fun exercise. Suggest this for individuals or families wanting to challenge themselves or as a break from the parks or normal routine. This is for varying levels of ability (within reason for this type of activity). Even if you are in great shape, you will find some of the exercises test your ability. The courses are a mixture of arm, leg, balance exercises and short zip line activities. Each course is progressively higher and more difficult. However, it's very safe. You are connected by at least one cable at all times and two or three when completing an exercise. After the initial instruction you master the harness connections quickly. Staff wander the courses watching, assisting, or sometimes coming to the rescue of someone having extreme difficulty. The graduated difficulty of the courses allow one to stop after a course if they feel they can't continue. Recommend getting the water add on or bring your own as you will likely need it after you complete a course. Also, you may want to bring your own leather weight lifting or similar gloves (I brought mine). They either provide or sell simple cloth ones that most people use, but they get varying reviews. Oh, and the long zip line is a kick too. Totally enjoyed our time here. read more

I came here on a Saturday morning with my boyfriend and overall, place was a great half day active activity. It took us about 2 hours to get through the demo and then the 4 adult courses. The guide giving the instructions was nice and straight to the point plus they put the adults together on the timeframe which was a nice relief as this is very much a kid/teenager attraction but as a 30 and 35 year old we didn't exactly want to be trapped with children all day. This activity was decently challenging, reasonably priced, and easy to book/understand and is therefore both great for adults and children alike. They also give you gloves which are so helpful throughout the course to prevent any rope burn etc. The only thing I think needs improvement is the guides' involvement in the course queue. In (I think) 30 minute increments, they allow signup and give demos/get groups started; however, we appeared to be the first group of the day in the early morning and with a group of about 30 people, after the demo, they allow you to either get started or do some testing, all at once. This leads to too much of stall in individual/group pace. We opted to start immediately but got stuck behind a group of 4 girls that also chose to do so though they did not understand the clipping/etc. and were more focused on video and instagramming every single thing that, as the first group, led to a big delay and backlog lineup. Stalling behind these insta-models with a build-up gathering behind and NO ONE in front nearly ruined our experience. Yes, the guides mentioned it's fine to pass other people, but with a group of 4 this wasn't an easy feat. The girls would not continue the courses and wait for the rest to finish before moving on. Its sad that the girls were very much too self-centered or oblivious to notice the growing line-up of irritated adults behind them but I also think it was irresponsible of the guides to also allow that or not notice... finally at the end of the first course I spoke up to move ahead awkwardly and it turned the experience around. To put it into perspective, we ended up 2 FULL courses ahead of them after that and heard the irritation from others. I realize photos and posts are great advertisement for the place, but still, I think the facility can better manage the delays and negative experience that comes from irresponsible inconsiderate 'adults' that cant put a phone down and enjoy the course. The guides can be more observing and politely step in. Or, I think they can better spread the lineup by teaching groups in smaller, more staggered increments, or with two starting courses to pick from. I can now say that I've trekked in the trees! Orlando Tree Trek ropes course and zip lining was a lot of fun. It's located in the middle of nowhere out in Kissimmee but it was easy to find on our map app. My husband bought a gift certificate for us to use a while back and we finally got a chance to go in December. Thank goodness we waited to go because the weather ended up being perfect. I would definitely recommend doing this during the winter months in Florida when the sun, humidity, and bugs aren't as bad. You can combat those with sunscreen, light clothing, water, and bug spray in summer. Just be prepared. I made a reservation over the phone a couple weeks in advance. Check in was very easy as was the brief safety training session. I brought my own gloves (I use for weight lifting) to use to protect my hands but there are gloves for purchase. Water is also an optional purchase, and while we didn't buy it, it may be worthwhile to have it during the summer months. This purchase basically gives you access to water bottles in ice chests throughout the courses. Depending on the price you pay, you can do up to four ropes courses, each with varying difficulty levels. We ended up finishing all four in under two hours, but it can take up to three. The scenery was nothing special (Florida trees are kind of boring). However, I did enjoy the various ways that we had to climb across the ropes and wooden boards. It definitely challenged me. Some were so wobbly that I felt like I was going to fall several times. But I never felt unsafe- the mechanism that they use to clip you on will not allow you to fall at any point once you are hooked on. I would recommend trying Orlando Tree Trek to challenge yourself on this obstacle course in the cooler Florida months. It's great fun! read more

We didn't even make the appointment, instead we stopped by around 8:15 am to check out the place. 2 hours later we were completely drenched in sweat and laughing. After filling out waivers for the whole family, we headed out for brief training. Everything was super explanatory and employees made sure you know they are always close by if you get stuck or need a help on a courses. I recommend to take the option of unlimited water for $4.00 which is placed all around the courses but be careful since restroom is not available till you finish the whole course. We took a group of our young men from church to this adventure based on the recommendation of a friend. It was a great experience although the zip lines between the stations were a little low which made it tough to stand up with my bad knee. Other than my own experience, the boys seem to love it. They have four different trails which vary in difficulty. We had a blast going between the trees on the different cables and rails. The zip line at the end is about 450 ft long and was probably the highlight of the adventure. Our guide Emma was fantastic with the boys and really help them get comfortable with the adventure. We paid for the water pass which gives you all you can drink water which I would definitely recommend. They take safety very serious and took great care of us. It was a little busy which made us have to wait at several of the stations but it was still very enjoyable. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. My family and I have done the courses at Tree Trek a few times. The courses are very safe and fun, the facility is well maintained and the staff are friendly and very safety focused. In short, we love Tree Trek. I recently had an "unusual" request for my Mom who just turned 80. Zip-lining was still on her bucket list, but she's not physically capable of completing the entire course. I called, spoke to Chris (the Manager) and we agreed on a very fair price for her to come and just zip-line. Chris and staff were ready for us when we arrived and rolled out the red carpet for her so that she felt safe and so that her experience was treated like a special event. They took care of her every step of the way and she couldn't have been more thrilled with her experience. My friends and I celebrated a birthday here and had a blast! Most of us are not athletic, and half of us had never done a ropes course before. We were a bit nervous about the more challenging courses, but the staff members were very kind and thorough about explaining how everything worked and were available to help at the most difficult parts of the course. In the end, we got through all 4 of the adult courses in about 3 hours! It was a whole body work out and a mental game towards the end of motivating yourself it finish, but there was zip lining at the end of each course which was rewarding. The first two courses are very similar, but the last two routes each had unique and challenging aspects that require a bit of arm strength or coordination (and teamwork/support). If our sedentary selves could get through it, I'm sure anyone else can! Tickets are about $60 per person but there are discounts for students, Florida residents, and veterans; just bring your ID and credit card even if you've already paid online, because they need that for check in. The check in process only took a few minutes, and the demo took about 20 minutes for the group. In total we spent 3.5 hours in the activity plus 1 hr of waiting due to thunder watch in the area. I'm thankful I got unlimited water (only an extra $2.50) because some routes can take 45min or so, and it's nice having cold water available to recharge a bit. The bathrooms are clean and there was plenty of parking. Not much scenery to look at, but most of the place is shaded. The courses are overall well maintained although there are a couple spots where the ropes are worn. Definitely bring bug spray and be mindful of the Florida ants. We didn't run into any problems but we had bug spray, sunscreen, and looked out for each other. Overall we had a great time and although it was definitely tiring, we laughed a lot and got to challenge our bodies and minds in cool ways! read more

We came here with a group of 6 guys for a Bachelor Party and this is by far the best activity/experience you can do in Orlando. It's reasonably priced for a 3 hour adventure, employees are great and they put safety on top priority. On a plus side, anyone can do it from little kids to adults, but be sure you have some arm/leg strength. This was our families first zipping and ropes course so we don't have much to compare to. However, having come here I am now afraid of being disappointed I'd we try somewhere else. It was me and my wife and our teenage kids. We spent a solid 3+ hours in the trees and did all four courses. It was challenging enough for my 16 yr old to have a blast and not too challenging that my wife didn't enjoy herself. The courses do get harder as you advance. Well worth the drive from Tampa and the price. They don't overcrowd either so you can take your time. Highly recommend. read more
