Wow we really had a nice stay at this hotel. As a bonvoy member, I asked for early check in at 1. Our room was ready at 12! We drove up to the valet and I jumped out to get us checked in. Yeah, i could've done mobile key, but i prefer real room keys because mobile key doesn't always work w my phone case. There was a separate line for elite members but i got behind one lady in the regular line. It moved fast and i ended up with one of the elite check in employees anyway. We got four pool passes, which is nice because we had a couple friends that were thinking of joining us. We self parked and went to the shuttle pick up area. I called the shuttle and they arrived within 5 min. They also have a walkway from the garage to the hotel which isn't a bad walk. The shuttle driver did not help us with our luggage. Our room was nice! We got upgraded to the pool view room. There were 2 complimentary bottled waters. We had six bath towels and many hand towels and wash cloths. I had to call for a hair dryer. It was delivered within 10 min. They typically have one in the closet but ours was missing from the hair dryer bag. Someone probably stole it because the one they brought me was Babyliss, which is a nice brand. The shower had the rainfall and handheld unit; Was very hot. The AC was blasting. We were cold! We tried to change it but ended up just periodically shutting it off. It's rare to have a room where the AC works too good!!! Usually rooms are too hot, so we were happy that it worked too good. We headed down to the pool and found a towel dispensing machine. They had a towel dispensing machine inside the hotel and a couple outside the hotel by the pool area. You use your room key to get towels and you get credited back when you return them. It says $25 fee for unreturned towels. Not sure how they keep track/ maybe a chip system? But I love that you can grab as many as you want! The pool was nice. We were served poolside by Marcus. He came by often. We had 2-3 drinks each and shared a wrap w house made chips. The wrap was FULL of turkey and nicely grilled. The chips were crispy and super salted. Yum. I had a bourbon banana slushee, a pirate rum drink with a floater and a mojito with a shot on the side. All were good. The additional shot or floater is only five dollars and most drinks are $16-$18. The turkey wrap was $19. We relaxed poolside for 1-2 hours. Then we went to the lazy river and cruised around twice. They have clear tubes for the river, complimentary. They gave three slides that suit kids and adults. We rode all 3; the blue one was so fun but is a two person so you can't do it by yourself. If you're too small or weak to carry the two person tube, they have a few up there at the top, you just gotta walk up there. They have cubbies for your belongings/ you can't ride with a hat or glasses or sandals. No one stole our stuff while we went back and forth for all 3 slides. A huge storm came through and shut the place down. They made announcements overhead. We signed our tab and went back to our room. We attended an event at the convention center. It was easy to get to. When we came back, the hotel was pretty quiet. There is a small mini fridge where we kept our dinner leftovers. We did not need earplugs to sleep. The pillows and linens on the bed were lovely. The bed was quite comfortable. I slept very well. In the morning, we made the room coffee, and I was surprised that there was one regular pot and one decaf pod. They should stock their coffee maker a little better. We picked up our car which we were able to get in and out of the garage using our room key without any issues. In fact, you can come and go as you please. Parking was plentiful and very simple. They do have valet, but it's extra charge. Your resort fee includes access to the pool as well as shuttles to the parks and Disney Springs but those shuttles need a reservation. This is a great place for kids. There was a lot of activities around the pool that are free and there are some that you can pay for as well. The pools were very fun and there's a kiddie splash pad area and another area with a slide for kids. They also have a calendar of their daily activities. We could have spent the following day at the pool again and asked for late checkout, but we went home. We did not have a chance to experience their restaurants or Starbucks coffee shop. Amazing ! We had early check in which was refunded back to us and we were still able to check in early prior to 10am! Loved the staff , their attention to cleanliness and upkeep, the hospitality/greeting it was all around amazing. The river pool has massive cleaning units/pool motors that make the water clean and pristine for next day use. Love the fact that the pool water was crystal clean even during use. We rented a cabana by the pool and got premium service. Everything is reasonably priced from the rooms , to the buffet , to the drinks and restaurants. They had plenty of activities , an arcade , lawn games , some nifty stores, Starbucks , and small grab and go store on the first floor that's open until 11pm . Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the world's largest Marriott (not inclusive of Marriott partner hotel) over the weekend. On arrival we were upgraded to a balcony with a view of the pool and the Disney fireworks, which already set the expectation for the weekend. It was the hotel's 40 year anniversary so it was filled with excitement. There are lots of restaurants. I included the buffet breakfast in my stay and it was so extensive and actually very delicious...with the made to order egg station and waffle/pancake station, the variety of hot food and fruits. Worth paying extra and not leaving the hotel. I also ate at their Falls Pool Bar and Grill and the food was decent. Your stay should include access to the water park (which honestly is just 3 slides, the lines were moving slow and a laze river. There is a second pool that most people lounge at there is a night related activities at that pool. Didn't use the mini golf but my daughter got a free game play card from a staff member to use the arcade, which was nice. The room was clean and large. I have no complaints about the bathroom. The staff were great, with whom I interacted with. Parking is expensive as hell but I would return for a family friendly stay. read more

My husband and I stayed here for a fun weekend staycation. Food, beverages, and amenities are all a five out of five! The pools are great, and we spent hours there relaxing. We got quick service for our meals to eat poolside, and staff were excellent about roaming by frequently to check if we needed to order any drinks or additional food. My only reason for not giving an overall five out of five stars is because of the additional daily resort fees, so just a heads up to budget accordingly. The conference that I was attending in Orlando Florida was hosted at the Orlando World Center Marriot during the week of May 11 2026. I thought the conference layout was very well designed. The self parking garage setup was surprisingly convenient, especially for a property this large. Parking on the second floor with the walkway access on the third floor leading directly into the conference area made getting in and out pretty easy without wandering through the entire resort! The conference facilities were excellent. I presented twice in the Magnolia rooms, Magnolia 15 and Magnolia 24, and both sessions went smoothly from a technical standpoint. The AV equipment, screens, microphones, and overall room setup all worked perfectly with zero issues! All I had to do was plug in my HDMI cable into the HDMI port on my laptop and the PowerPoint presentation populated on the screen. The lighting was easily adjustable in the conference rooms which was great! The staff throughout the conference area were also great to work with! Everyone I interacted with at the Marriott was friendly, and helpful! The Orlando World Center Marriott felt extremely well equipped for large conventions and professional events. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone planning to host their next event in the Orlando area. Next time that I am going to be traveling to Orlando I will consider staying at this hotel so that I can take advantage of being close to all of the attractions as well! read more

Huge, beautiful hotel. It's the largest Marriott in the world, has multiple pools, a lazy river, plenty of lounges, mini golf, jogging paths, so many rooms, stunning balconies and a few restaurants. I stayed here for a conference for a few nights. The hotel's convention operation is another story. They were excellent - really took care of us. Food, service, beverages, seating, setup, so much to say. Amazing conference. My room was excellent too. Very large, superb housekeeping and my balcony was to die for. I could sit on it at night and watch the happily ever after fireworks or simply see Spaceship Earth light up at night. There are a few restaurants on this hotel, a small arcade and a nice market for buying food and drink for the room. So many good things to say about this place. My only gripe was that I couldn't really get my room very cold. I set the thermostat at the lowest setting - 65, but it never really felt like 65. I never called for someone to assess the situation because that rarely gets your anywhere at any hotel. Overall, I had a lovely stay here. Great conference, fun swims at the pool, a fun poolside party at night and some good meals. read more

A pretty pricey hotel even for San Diego. I was given a room that overlooked the lobby. The majority of nights I stayed I was awake due to all the noise in the hall and the lobby. There was a stray hair in the shower. The water park was closed and the $10 taken off the resort fee did not compensate. The shuttle to Disney was nice but the times were inconvenient to Disney Springs. read more

We always had a great experience at this hotel. We have been here about four times over the years and each time our stay was amazing. The rooms were clean, the housekeeping did a good job, also the front desk employees. The breakfast buffet is also excellent with lots of options to choose from (cold cuts included for Marriott members, otherwise its $10 extra to upgrade to full buffet that includes hash browns, waffles, pancakes, sausages and freshly made omelette bar. The pools!? Amazing! There is one large pool, River Falls with splash pool for kids, lazy river and 3 slides. Definitely must try all slides. My favourites are (yellow - the slowest one) and then the green one - medium slow and makes you go backwards). Tried also blue slide but was a bit too much for me. Food by the pool is also pretty decent and they have lots of activities for the kids throughout. Most are free but some are for a fee. Parking valet or self park $42 per night. I was recently staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott for a conference, and while Orlando is a city with a lot to offer, I only left the hotel a few times during my five-day stay due to so many restaurants, meeting spaces, and opportunities to connect with colleagues within the World Center Marriott. This was actually my third visit to the Orlando World Center Marriott though my first two visits were both thirteen years ago. I enjoyed the restaurants, amenities, guest rooms, and conference center! I just returned from a visit to the Orlando World Center Marriott for an international conference. Having a Bonvoy account with gold status, I was able to use the Bonvoy status line to check in. I received 500 bonus points at check-in and was upgraded to an enhanced room while also receiving a late check-out of 2 PM. I also earned some additional Bonvoy bonus points. My room was on the 7th floor, and I found it was easy taking the elevators though I needed to use the right elevators for the right floors for the right tower. I was in the East Tower, very close to the front desk. The room was very comfortable with a small living area and a very comfortable bed. I also really enjoyed my view of the pool and the balcony; it was easy viewing for the laser light show each evening. My previous two visits were in 2013, and while was was a planning visit to a conference we were hosting in the convention center, the other was for the conference itself. While I remember a very long walk, we had check-in tables, volunteer tables, and booths set up throughout the convention center way back when. Part of the conference was a job search experience with plenty of exhibit hall space and hundreds of interview tables. The space was certainly large and comfortable enough. During my recent visit, I visited the Central Pantry, the High Velocity Sports Bar, Latitude & Longitude, the Lobby Lounge & Sushi Bar, Siro Urban Italian Kitchen, and of course, Starbucks. Other than the gift shop in the lobby, I didn't visit the four retail stores. I also missed out of the recreation options in the resort including the Falls Lagoon Pool, Body Water Slides, Kids Splash Zone, River Falls Water Park, arcade, spa, fitness center, Hawk's Landing, mini golf, and sand volleyoard court. There was a celebration for the "40 Years of Memories" going on while I was visiting though I was unable to take part. This included the 40th Birthday Bash & Splash on Saturdays all summer at the pool including Pool Party Moments (surprise moments with games and music), giveaways and raffles, exclusive food and beverage moments, and photo and social experiences. The $47 daily resort fee covers enhanced in-room wireless internet, access to River Falls, daily schedule shuttle service to Disney World Parks, and daily scheduled shuttle service to Disney Springs. Unfortunately, I didn't take part in any of this during my visit other than the WiFi, so I didn't find that paying the resort fee was worth it. There were also plenty of daily family activities taking place each day but again, I was unable to partake due to my conference. On the other hand, there is something special about staying at the largest Marriott in the world!! I would certainly recommend to anyone staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott to make the most of a stay in the future! read more

Visited this property for a long weekend and I really enjoyed it. Room was super clean and well kept as was the property. The pool area is huge and has something for everyone. They offer shuttle service to Disney parks. The main bar area that is in lobby was nice but the drinks were not up to standard if you ask me. They offer expresso martinis but do not have expresso which is surprising being that it's a hotel and they have multiple restaurants, room service and a Starbucks on sight. Overall I enjoyed my visit but would opt to drink/dine offsite. read more

Stayed here a few nights for a conference and it was a decent experience. I was able to connect my corporate reservation with my Marriott Bonvoy app and request for a room on a higher level. Check-in was fantstic. Introduced a President to the front desk agent and had the agent set me up with a room with a view. iykyk The room itself was great. It seemed like it had been remodeled within the last few years. The water pressure in the shower was great although the body wash dispenser was out and I only found out when I was already in the shower. ...the sliding shower door may have been mounted in reverse making ingress and egress awkward as I had to squeeze between the toilet each time... Requested for additional body wash via the app and staff showed up with body wash within minutes! Loved how there were half a dozen sets of towels making housekeeping superfluous during my stay. The mattress was on the softer side. Noise cancelling headphones were helpful as the walls are quite thin. I heard my neighbors going back to the room along with landscapers starting work at 4:30 am?!? ....might be cultural in Florida. Seems like the resort fee was waived for our group stay. Each time I walked by the pool in the early morning or late at night, they were always closed. Attempted to visit the spa only to find out that they close at 6 pm?!? There is an arcade on the 1st floor. Bring disposable gloves... The central pantry on the first floor was convenient as it featured beverages, made-to-order hot food, spirits, along with premade food. There is also a gift shop on the lobby level selling sundries. The conference center seems to be under construction. Some of the catering was quite good, including the brisket, bone-in chicken. If you are a Marriott member internet is free, but you need to click thru and confirm with the front desk that the internet will be removed at checkout. If you do not have a car make sure you tell them at check-in or they will automatically charge you. They have a decent Starbucks near the lobby (closes by 6pm) daily. Their Japanese restaurant ** and ground floor pantry has a limited menu for hot food, Pastrami sandwich was dry. Found loose hair in my sink. read more

I started at Gaylord palms a few months ago and while that was very nice the ice cold lazy river made me look for a new place. this hotel understands people come to Florida in the winter to swim so you need warm water the water slides were really fun and the pool had a movie going at night for the kids. nice clean rooms and ev charging. I guess the only thing I could do for were a few more ev charging spots because only three were working. read more

First time in Orlando for Chosen Con, and this hotel made it worthwhile! The hotel is beautiful and huge. Check-in was a breeze. Our room was a standard size with two queen beds, a balcony, coffee maker and a nice view of the pool. What really stood out was the food - every restaurant was delicious and super convenient since we didn't want to leave the resort during the event. They also have a mini market to pick up quick, already prepared food items as well as a Starbucks. I faced my fear and braved their insane waterslide--it was ridiculously terrifying but totally worth it. They do have not-so scary waterslides and a wading pool as well. There is also a mini light show for the kids before the pool closes. I finally checked off a major bucket list item--holding an alligator! Their Steve Irwin-style reptile show was the perfect chance, and I couldn't resist.. although it was tailored towards the kids. The only downside? The bar/restaurant service was practically non-existent. We had to hunt down menus ourselves and flag down a server who seemed completely disinterested. He dropped off our food and we didn't see him again until much later. Had to go grab our own salt and pepper, extra napkins off another table. We were basically forgotten until he sheepishly reappeared with the check, realizing his mistake and trying to cover. Major bummer! Other than that, we enjoyed our vacation. read more

We booked an overnight at this hotel while we were in Orlando for the college women's basketball tournament that was at ESPN center. This place was much better than expected after reading some negative reviews on yelp, I was kind of worried it was going to be a bad experience but it was a great stay. A lot of people complain about the resort fee, which yes it's a bit high for what you get but if you use the shuttle to Disney, then it's not high at all. We didn't use it to go to Disney so we really didn't get much out of the fee since we also didn't use the pool. The hotel rate was still a decent deal for a nice hotel. People also have complained the hotel is old but I did not find that to be the case. I don't know if we got a renovated room but this Marriott is a lot better than a lot of the Marriotts we have stayed in. The room was nice and everything seemed pretty new. We were in the east tower on the 25th floor. They don't participate in the NUA for Marriott members. We asked for a 1pm check in and we were able to check in at that time so we were happy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a lot of storage, a safe, a mini fridge. We had a really nice view. The shower head pressure was not good, though. We did self parking and there ample parking. If you park on the 3rd floor and you are able to walk, there is a convenient bridge that connects to the hotel so you don't have to be outside but it's at least a 5 min walk to the lobby. We like walking so it was nice for us. Parking fee is as expected for hotels. $38/night. The resort itself is great. We only stayed overnight so we only got to try Longitude and Latitude. We really liked the food there for both breakfast and lunch. There are different food options here so it's convenient. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked amazing. They have lazy river along with slides and a lot of lounge chairs if you like to get sun. There is a nice walking/running trail as well. It's a 1.4 mile loop so you have to do a few loops if you want to get a decent run or walk. We walked. We also found the staff here friendly and helpful. We hope to visit here again for a quick staycation in Florida. read more

This is my fourth time staying at this resort, and I keep coming back because it truly has everything I need for a relaxing, self-care getaway near Disney. From the moment I arrive, I feel like I never have to leave because there are great restaurants, beautiful spaces to unwind, and every convenience I could ask for. The service here is absolutely impeccable. The staff are friendly, professional, and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the parking fees, whether you choose valet or self-parking, it's on the expensive side. However, that is somewhat offset by the free shuttle service to and from the Disney World parks, which is a huge plus. Sometimes, I actually skip the parks altogether and just enjoy the resort while my daughter and granddaughter head off to Disney. It's the perfect place to relax, recharge, and treat yourself. Check in is pretty late, but everything else was fine. The parking structure is half a mile from the entrance so I got lots of steps. The Siri Urban Italian Restaurant inside the hotel is amazing, I would come back just for that. The Christmas decor including giant trees and a huge gingerbread house was fun. Our room was pretty nice, we had a balcony so it was fun to see the drone show from it. (The drone show was pretty awesome too.) Our kids wished the pool was warmer, perhaps they could add a few more hot tubs too. There was a sign that said 18+, but tons of kids and more people than the sign said were in the hot tub. My kids follow the rules so they didn't go in but were sad there was no hot tub they could use when they were cold in the pool. We liked some of the water slides. I tried all of the ones that were open (the yellow one was closed for some reason). read more

Let me start by saying that our family has stayed at this property more than 10 times over the last several years. It has always been one of our favorite getaway locations, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We checked in on Tuesday and immediately noticed a terrible odor in our room -- a strong combination of cleaning chemicals and mildew. We changed clothes and went down to the pool, assuming the smell would dissipate while we were out. Unfortunately, when we returned approximately four hours later, the odor was just as strong. At that point, we began looking around the room to determine the source and quickly discovered that the air conditioning vent was covered in black mildew/mold (see attached photos). We immediately left the room and went to the front desk to request a new room. While the staff did accommodate the request, it felt more like they were doing us a favor than addressing a legitimate health and safety concern. The following morning, my wife and I spoke with Lonnie Lewis at the front desk. We explained that no guest should be placed in a room in that condition and expressed our concern about the health risk. His response was simply, "Well, that room won't be rented... I'll credit you 10,000 points." There was no apology, acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation, or empathy regarding our concerns. That lack of concern was honestly more disappointing than the room itself. We tried to move past the issue and enjoy the remainder of our stay, but unfortunately the service problems continued. Today, our final day at the resort, we went to The Falls pool around 10:00 AM. A waiter took our order at approximately 11:00 AM and then disappeared for nearly two hours. During that time, we asked several employees -- including managers -- how we could close out our tab, yet no one was able to assist us. When the waiter finally returned, there was again no apology. In fact, he appeared annoyed that we wanted to close our tab, despite an automatic 18% gratuity already being added. Afterward, I returned to the front desk and spoke with Nick, who identified himself as a manager. I explained the entire situation, only to have him initially question whether we had actually changed rooms. After several minutes, he eventually confirmed the issue I was describing. Unfortunately, he did not seem equipped to resolve the matter. When I requested his business card because I intended to share my experience publicly, he instead returned with the business card for Lissa Cuffy, Director of Front Office. I have since called and emailed Ms. Cuffy in hopes that someone in leadership will take these concerns seriously. Given how often we have stayed at and supported this property over the years, this entire experience has been extremely disappointing. read more

Our group stayed here for 5 nights for the John Maxwell Conference this week, August 2025. Booking was easy and we utilized the discount promotion code for the conference. Our assigned room was in the east tower on the 9th floor. The room was freshly renovated and spacious with two comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The closet is large and contains the easy to program safe which is just large enough for holding a laptop and a few other valuables. The bathroom is large with double sinks plus a shower and separate toilet area with sliding door. A powerful blow dryer is on the shelf and plenty of towels. Hot and cold water pressure is powerful and the hot water is almost instantly available. The Airconditioning in our room was powerful and kept the room cool without being too loud. The large console in the center of the room functions as the media center with a large screen television, plenty of drawers for clothes and a super cold miniature fridge just large enough to hold two bottles of wine and some carry out food. Room decor is fresh and contemporary with no signs of wear. We were looking forward to enjoying coffee on the balcony in the morning and wine in evening however the balcony lacks furniture. Disappointing. Parking needs to be activated at the front desk for the physical room keys. The parking is an extra $40 per night and provides access to a large secure parking deck which kept the car safe and cool. The pool is large and I enjoyed swimming laps and reading books in the lounge chairs. The chairs closest to the pool required a reservation and extra charge. Umbrellas were plentiful. There's multiple dining options at Siro Italian, The sports bar, the Latitude breakfast area, the Starbucks plus a grocery pantry store. All of the employees at the front desk, the restaurants and the shuttle were super friendly. We found the hotel to be a great value for our total cost for five nights. The location to Disney Springs shopping and dining is excellent. This is a great hotel for business or leisure. We would stay here again!! read more

This place is a run down cash grab that charges extreme prices for everything, in today's review I'm only going to be scratching the surface of the issue that is the world center Marriott. To start my child ordered a kids meal with a handful of fries and two chicken tenders which cost over $20 dollars! The drink was not included and was 4.50. The cheapest beer cost $12 dollars and the snacks at the food pantry have exorbitant prices. I am truly disgusted by the water slides as the stench is god awful and there are rust stains, tape, and ripped up protective foam EVERYWHERE! The place needs a complete refresher and sufficient care. With some care this place could be absolutely stunning. If the place was power washed occasionally all as an example it could really improve. Our bartender was very nice and friendly and I appreciate his work. Overall I am highly dissatisfied with this hotel. read more

When I arrived there was an extremely long line to check in. Got checked in but was told room was not ready. Finally received text my room was ready. Went down to get my keys and of course had to wait an hour in line to receive my keys. Why a hotel this large only has a couple check in clerks is beyond me. Been staying here since it's opening. Go to the Hyatt Regency, much more efficient operation. Also, I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. Check out was not any better. No one ever answered the phone when called for a bellman. I stayed here during an accounting conference with some work colleagues, and I was very impressed. The resort and resort grounds were amazing - it was a massive property with plenty of things to do, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The food options were enough given the size of the property, so, we were never struggling to find any place to eat. The rooms were comfortable and easily accessible, the staff was friendly, and the convention center was immaculate. I will definitely stay here when I inevitably bring my family back to Disneyworld - would recommend! read more

I recently stayed at the Orlando World Center Marriott for a conference, but took advantage of it being so close to Disney. The complimentary shuttles to Disney Springs and the parks were a huge bonus, and the drivers were super nice. The shuttles left promptly and the drivers happily put my stroller underneath (I didn't even have to fold it up!). My one complaint is that there was a large gap in the afternoon/evening from the 2nd to last and last shuttles of the evening. The room attendants kept our room very clean and sweetly decorated our bed with my son's loveys, towel decorations, and some small toys. He was so excited and since we were there during the Christmas season, he was convinced the elves left the surprise for him! This Marriott is large (I heard one of the largest?), so some of the rooms are not super close. There are several restaurants and a market downstairs with quick service food and snacks. There is also a short laser show in the pool area at night. It only lasted about 10 minutes, but my 4-year-old loved it. I still prefer staying onsite for a fully immersive Disney trip, but the Marriott was great and I would stay again if given the opportunity! read more

I have stayed at this Marriott several times. Starting at the age of 16. It is magnificent. There are water slides, tubing adventures, etc. the service is amazing, and my husband has many Marriott points from his travels for business. The arcade area is pretty jazzy too! Space Invaders, Skee Ball, basketball, air hockey, claw machines (the little critters in plastic containers aren't too difficult to get). There are two machines that seem like they would dispense tickets; however, it's a bit disappointing because no tickets come out. They are added to the game card. There are many options for snacks, food and beverages. It was nice spending just time at the hotel. And the events that brought us to Orlando were just a quick Uber ride to/from the hotel. Night entertainment included cool laser light shows! read more

Our recent stay was extremely disappointing and fell well below expectations. First, we were locked out of our room for over an hour due to a malfunctioning door lock. As a result, our family was delayed and ultimately late for our son's game. While the hotel acknowledged the issue, the compensation offered was only $50, which did not adequately reflect the inconvenience and disruption caused. In addition, service at both the Lobby Bar and High Velocity restaurants were consistently poor. On two separate occasions, we waited more than 90 minutes for food, only to receive what could best be described as average meals. The most concerning experience involved 5 kids on our team, ages 9 & 10, who inadvertently wandered into a private event area on the conference floor. Security escorted them back to us, which we appreciated. However, instead of receiving a warning, we were immediately threatened with eviction from the property if it happened again. Given the large number of youths and families staying at the hotel that weekend, the response felt unnecessarily harsh, disproportionate and being singled out, profiled. I raised these concerns directly with hotel management and spoke with a Melisa, who assured me she would follow up. Unfortunately, I never received a response. I subsequently contacted other members of management three different times and experienced the same lack of follow-through and customer service. Between the room access issue, excessive wait times for food, poor communication from management, and the way our family was treated, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had. As a result, we will be choosing alternative accommodations such as Hilton, Airbnb, or VRBO during future trips to Orlando. read more

I was here for a conference/family trip in one. The hotel location if you are planning on visiting any of the parks at Disney World is a perfect spot. Literally 5-10 minutes away. If headed to Universal ...it's a very comfortable distance of about 15 minutes give or take. The hotel is spacious, multiple restaurants to choose from and the pool along with lazy river and slides are a paradise for all ages. Latitude and Longitude Restaurant is a great option to grab breakfast. For your needed dose of caffeine...Starbucks is right at the front of the entrance! Our room was clean with the needed amenities along with a fridge and a balcony with a great view of the pool. Nighttime at the pool is lively and we even got to see the laser show from our room, which was situated in the East wing. Overall, we had a great time! The Pantry on the 1st floor has many snacking options along with quick hot foods to order from. Also, on the first floor next to the pantry, a plus was the section with microwaves to reheat any leftover foods you had ! It's a little thing you may not think about, but it sure is convenient and useful when you need it. Conference section was on level one with a mini Starbucks station, which made the lines go faster to grab your drink before a session! I did have an issue when my key card wouldn't work on Day 2, however a quick visit to the front desk and things got taken care of without hassle...thank you for this! If you are planning a nice family trip to Orlando close to Disney and want to also enjoy the amenities and sightsee around time...definitely consider this location! read more

From checkin to checkout, staff were friendly, and the temperature was cool and comfortable. The property is spacious and beautiful. I was excited to have a room on the 21st floor. The bed was firmer than I desired, but I was able to sleep throughout the night. The pool was fun. I enjoyed the light show, and I enjoyed the hot tub. I was surprised that there is only one hot tub in the pool area. I enjoyed breakfast at Latitude. I was not able to dine at Mikado before checking out, but I plan to return to this property and dine there soon. The waterpark was fun, but I was annoyed that one of the slides was closed due to maintenance. Also, I was annoyed by people swimming in the lazy pool, instead of floating and enjoying the lazy river flow. read more

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room is clean with a great view of the pool where you can see laser shows and the Disney fireworks in the distance. The pools are wonderful and I love the slides -- they made me feel like a kid again! A very beautiful property with many food options that in my opinion were just okay. read more

This place nickels and dimes you for absolutely everything. They also add tips to everything, for example picking up something from their market, which requires no human interaction. On top of that, apparently the carts for luggage are reserved or something - no one helped me check in, and the two men I asked for a cart told me they "don't give them out" because they're "so busy" then proceeded to stand there and watch me and my family, including a freaking 6 year old, struggle with our luggage. Yup, that's the service you get after dumping thousands of dollars into a place that's not even associated with the parks. read more

Stayed here for a professional conference over a weekend at the tail end of spring break. Front desk screwed us by giving up one of our rooms between our morning check-in and room key retrieval. The result was my entire crew sitting in the lobby for two hours waiting for our principal to receive our fourth room after we were promised four rooms on the 11th floor in the morning. The result was eventually 4 rooms on the 8th floor. We had a hassled check in AND check out that also took way too long resulting in our principal missing the first part of the Sunday morning keynote due to the bumbling situation at the front desk. The restaurants on site are adequate yet overpriced and the pool area looks amazing, although we didn't get to use it for this particular weekend. My personal biggest complaint was the temperature in the room. The room was warm; no matter how low we bumped the thermostat, the room never reached an optimal temperature for sleep. Oh and side note: don't use the unmarked taxi van that the hotel promotes. Homeboy charged me $80 to go from the hotel to a restaurant 20 minutes away. I don't recall his name because I threw away his business card as fast as I could. What he did is likely criminal but I didn't pursue it as I had somewhere to be. Hopefully someone at this hotel monitors these reviews and will address his scam practice. read more

Booked a spontaneous family trip to Orlando and apparently this is the largest Marriott property in the entire world! Built in 1986, this historic Marriott property still runs well even till today. The Orlando World Center Marriott is basically like an all-inclusive resort (without the free food/drinks) that offers family-friendly activities throughout your stay. The property has a parking structure and a parking lot for those who stay at and near the Marriott Vacation Clubs. Parking was $34/night. They do offer valet. There are River Pools that require a wrist band for access. Apparently, it's free for four guests and you'd have to pay $25+ tax for additional wristbands. The River pools feature a lazy river, 3 water slides. There are volcano kiddy pools on the other side. Golf, Mini golf, Spa & Fitness center, and small arcade section. There are a good amount of restaurants at the property and we went to the sports bar to dine-in. Our server Wilson, was very accommodating and nice. Wilson mentioned to me was that he is a Marriott employee for 25 years! Told me his story with the company and still with Marriott which is amazing! Great service although the food at the sports bar was mid at best. The double queen beds we book were just your typical Marriott beds and the room was a bit spacious. Nothing special or to write home about. Housekeeping was great in their service. Overall, the Orlando World Center Marriott is a family friendly "all-inclusive" like resort that is worth checking out. The prices are a bit too high in my opinion but if you're a Bonvoy member, discounts, or credit card promotions, it's worth giving the property a shot. Just note this property is family-friendly so if you're looking for nightlife at the property, this isn't the one for you. read more
