Visited friends who were staying for a pool day and it was such a great atmosphere. Having the pool connect to the kiddie splash area was perfect. We got to enjoy the pool with the adults and big kids as well as swim right up to the kiddie section. We had a blast in the lazy river. Cute little water falls and such a vibe. Didn't like that the Food and drinks are a bit pricey.

My son and I got a ResortPass for the day here after our cruise to extend vacation a day (and luckily our flight was delayed so stayed even longer than anticipated). I do regret not booking weeks in advance as I did plan this ahead but I was unsure how it'd go and actually booked the day of (4/4/26). Only because the day pass was $35 weeks in advance for the day but the day of I paid $49 + of course the taxes etc. It ended up being $119 for my son and I plus Ubers but I think it was worth it for the 6 hours we were there. It's about 15-20 mins from MCO which is where our cruise shuttle left us off. We had the loaded nachos and chicken quesadilla (forgot to get photos) to split at the restaurant by the pool. We also had mango cheesecake and ice cream cookie sandwiches. I enjoyed their adult capri sun (I call them) while soaking in the hot tub. I didn't think their food fees were all that bad (as I expected resort type prices) and it's worth it to note they do include the tip in your bill. We had such a lovely day there and all staff were nice. The hot tub and lazy river (must have went around 10-12 times) were our favorites. They hold your luggage, so glad for. My only negative to report is the lack of chairs, we got there fairly early 11am and already there were no chairs. What is bothersome is most people weren't even using them. Perhaps they could use a locker system rather than ppl using chairs for their items as I would have loved to lay out. We walked around 4-5x before finding one chair to share.

I checked in here with a group of friends for a theme park marathon, and overall, it's a solid "home base" choice. It's not necessarily luxury, but if you're active and value amenities over fancy plating, you'll dig it. - The Room My stay started off a bit rocky. The initial room was a total miss on the plumbing front--we're talking paltry water pressure and a shower dial that couldn't decide between too cold and too hot. To top it off, a random alarm started chirping at midnight. Pro-tip: Don't settle! I called the front desk, and they handled the room swap efficiently. The new room was night and day: great pressure, easy temp control, and a much better view to boot. - The Amenities If you have energy left after the parks, the sports layout is clutch. Pickleball/Tennis/Hoops: The courts are well-maintained and--blessedly--fully lit for night play. The equipment: You have to snag paddles and rackets from the towel station by the pool entrance. The staff is incredibly friendly but triple-tasking. I had to wait a while to check out gear because they were busy elsewhere. The rackets/paddles are also really crappy, but playable. Interestingly, the basketballs are just left out on the courts--honestly, they should do the same for the rackets. Since the area is keycard-locked, security shouldn't be an issue! - Conclusion The food and room aesthetics are pretty standard fare, but the recreation options really elevated the experience. It's a great spot for a group that wants to stay active.

    Pancake and home fries

I took my son who is in college for a weekend trip to Epcot and got a great deal at the Hilton Orlando on iDrive. Included in our stay was breakfast at the hotel restaurant which unfortunately I cannot remember the name. We had breakfast on Sunday before going to the airport to fly home and my son back to college. I got the pancakes which were solid. And home fries. My son got avocado toast, which had what I can only describe as a salad on top. The server was really odd, he kept pushing for us to go to the buffet, but I told him that we did not want to as we just wanted to order off the menu and he seemed a little put out by that, so I don't know if that meant more work for him or why he was acting that way. He was literally running around the restaurant from a table to table. A manager stopped by to check on us, and I did mention the running which just felt a little bit odd and I'm not sure if he was maybe on a substance, or why this was the case. It was a bizarre experience. Maybe the buffet would have been better, but we really just wanted to order things that we're not necessarily on the buffet and have a more leisurely breakfast. I think this was OK for a breakfast that was included in the rate, but I would not make a special trip or tell people who are visiting Orlando that this was a must see.

I stayed at the Hilton Orlando for the weekend, didn't take a lot of pictures however my experience was amazing! The room was very clean, fresh, and comfortable. The food was delicious, and the pool area and lazy river were so much fun. Everything about the hotel was great, and the staff made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Hilton Orlando and would definitely stay here again!

I'm so excited that our company had their convention at this hotel. All of the events that we attended were super close, the bars and restaurants were a short distance away. The elevators were convenient as well. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Our room has a great view of the pool from the 9th floor. Their breakfast buffet was also great with lots of pastries options - they even offered carving area for pork steak type of meat. I love their shrimp salad that day.

My second time staying at the Hilton Orlando and it never disappoints. From the moment we pulled in we were greeted with warm smiles by the valet. Front desk staff Ann, Dante, and Jalen the front desk manager were so friendly and accommodating with any questions or request we asked. The hotel and our room is maintained so beautifully and is spotless (I forgot to take pictures of our room when we checked in). We enjoyed the view from our room that overlooked the beautiful and expansive pool. There are many options for activities and restaurants on site, like the Top Golf Suites located at Fastbreak. The very friendly bellman gave us the low down on the many areas on the property that allow you to view the Disney fireworks. Plus the General Manager for the property took the time to come over and introduce himself (Richard I believe), and asked about our stay and if there was anything personally he could do to improve our stay. I observed him doing this with other guest as well which just added to our experience. Hilton Orlando will continue to be our go to when visiting Orlando and if you are reading this I highly suggest you do the same.

What a wonderful hotel and newly renovated as of this writing (10/12/2025). The rooms felt fresh and the property is well kept. The fitness center was one of the best I've seen and was enjoyed. One tip: Self parking may be the way to go esp the property is not too busy. You can park on any floor, as we parked on the 1st floor and the front desk receptionist said that was fine. Valet may tell you to self park on the third floor, but I don't think that's accurate at least from our experience. 5 stars!

    Moldy cabana top with holes
    Clint R.

We visited for a birthday staycation. I booked a king room and poolside cabana for one night. The lobby and public areas of the hotel are nice. However, my critiques come in regarding the rooms and poolside cabana areas. The cabana was $300 for the day which is not terrible considering other hotels offer them much higher. I also received a $75 refund prior to arriving which I was happy about in hindsight. Upon arriving to the cabana we realized why they were cheaper than other hotels. The amount of mildew and holes in the cabana covering was truly ridiculous. I could've looked past that had the service been better. They must've only scheduled one server for all 10 cabanas in our area which is ridiculous. 30 minutes was the shortest we waited for service. We asked for a bucket of ice and took 45 minutes. So we eventually walked to the bar ourselves to get what we needed and our waiter realized why we were there and said it was on its way. We did this with multiple things, multiple times. They need more cabana servers or at least more help running drinks and food. Then...the up-charge on alcohol is truly insane. A $135 bottle of Tito's? My friends didn't mind since it was my birthday but for that price it really should be the larger handle of Tito's. And shots were $15 a piece. Is this Vegas or International Drive?! Small complaint there but a complaint nonetheless. A small thing but a problem we had were the amount of bees and wasps in the floral plants surrounding the cabanas. I'm all for giving a home and pollination to bees as they're endangered, but perhaps not near the cabanas...as we were swatting them away all day. The rooms...they need some TLC. Starting to show their age and the air conditioning does NOT get cold. We sweat all night long. So much so, we contemplating just going home at 3am since it was a staycation and we were only 20 minutes from home. I'll probably go somewhere else next time. There are plenty of other options that are a bit more pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

Kind of an interesting layout. The rooms you get to by going inside main entrance and the halls are…read morelike a big circle so when you come out of the rooms your onlooking the downstairs and all the rooms... hard to explain. But, yes it was nice and breakfast was good.

Pools and lazy river are very nice, and I appreciate the slide for kids. The facilities are okay…read moreand the food is mediocre at best... I booked a standard room and it had a nice view with a big window ,but after staying a while I could tell that the room was run down. The TV would glitch and the outlets are loose. The real highlight was when I went to take a shower and I locked the door, but the door wouldn't unlock and I was stuck for a couple minutes and I had to call my husband to try and help me unlock the door from the other side and even after it unlocked the door would get stuck. Book this hotel if you want Universal stuff like early park access but maybe don't lock the bathroom doors

Universal Orlando cabana bay resort was a great vacation destination,For me and my wife birthdays…read more The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .
