I was shocked. Love how they are all so uniquely tasting and decorating, This is not a lazy bake shop. I also saw cookies, brownies, the viral dot cakes, and edible cookie dough. They also had a fridge with some beverages. If you're in the city, they do online ordering and delivery!

The cupcakes arrived on time as expected and were packaged securely. It included two spoons along with a flyer card giving brief instructions to eat within 7 days or freeze. For the flavors of cupcakes, I chose their Chocolate Sea Salted Caramel and The Wicked Good. To be honest, I had a hard time choosing due to various negative reviews on the cupcakes and flavors. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the ones I had. Let's just say, I dusted both jars of cupcakes in one sitting. The Wicked Good i'd say lives up to its name. When people say it's not overly sweet, it's true. It's hard to explain that goodness until you've actually tried it for yourself and then it'll all make sense. If I had to choose between the two on what I would reorder, it would be The Wicked Good. I mean, don't get me wrong, the Chocolate Sea Salted Caramel was perfectly moist and had a nice balance of that sea-salted caramel flavor throughout. It tastes even better with vanilla ice cream and would be perfect for any chocolate lover. I will say though, these jars are pretty pricey. However, they do make great gifts! From what I'm aware of, they were recently acquired by Hickory Farms as of 2021 and are not sold in retail stores. They do have a cupcake truck in Fort Wayne, IN if you're in that area and looking to try them out. Overall, I thought the cupcakes were good. Happy to have tried these at least once. I just wish the jars were larger like pasta sauce jars ;)

He was homesick and feeling alone so I thought this would cheer him up. Well, I was let down...I was able to choose the delivery date and the website stated that I would receive a shipping confirmation when the items were shipped and when it was delivered. I did not receive such email. I had to reach out to the company and find out what was going on. I was told via email that my shipment wouldn't arrive until the day after my requested date. I was upset and very disappointed. I thought that this company was based out of Chicago, why did my shipment ship from Pennsylvania??? Is that why it took an extra day to arrive? Had I known it was shipping from Pennsylvania, I would have added another day for it to arrive on time. After going back and forth via email, the customer service representative apologized and issued a refund of my shipping cost. It was a nice gesture however it did not make up for the fact that it arrived the day after the intended delivery date. I expected a full refund. My son is without transportation and had to walk a ways to receive his package so this was a HUGE inconvenience for him. Thankfully he finally received his birthday cake and was happy. He shared with his roommate and enjoyed the cakes. From the looks of the video he sent me, it seems like they were very pleased with these cakes. Would I order from here again? Probably not. Just be aware that shipping may take longer so if you do order from here then add at least a couple days more just in case. Customer service was nice via email. I wish I could have given this place a better review.

The cupcakes tasted amazing, too! The cake part wasn't super-moist, so it held its shape and tasted great, but the frosting was the real star. The frosting on the lemon cupcake was intensely lemony, and the chocolate frosting was rich and smooth. I and the other non-vegans at the party couldn't tell that they were vegan, and our host was delighted to know that there is a bakery nearby that caters to her needs. I'll definitely be coming back to try the regular cupcakes soon!

We were traveling from out of state and were planning to arrive a bit sooner than expected, so I called the shop and asked to pick them up an hour early. I was told this was not an option, as they would not be ready. Totally fine, I understand that change was last minute. We decided to stick with our original 2:00 pickup time. 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, I received a call stating that they were an hour behind. I told the owner that this would be an issue, given that our boat left at 3:00. She offered to do free delivery, which we accepted. I provided the address and reiterated that we were leaving at 3:00, so we would need them before that time. She said she would call me when she arrived. 3:00 came and went, and our boat set sail, with no cupcakes. At 4:15, I received a phone call saying "I'm here with the cupcakes. I hope you guys aren't on the boat that's leaving!" We had left over an hour before... I explained that we were in the middle of the water, and reiterated that I told her numerous times we were leaving at 3, to which she said "she didn't understand that." Not quite sure how I could have been more clear about that, but I digress. She asked what we wanted to do and offered a refund, which we accepted. Disappointed is an understatement. When someone is turning 80 years old, you don't know how many birthdays they have left, and you want to make it special for them. This whole experience definitely put a damper on the day.

She made me feel as though nothing mattered more than making my niece happy--true old-school customer service. We discussed several options, and then Keri joined us: the Picasso of cupcake baking and design. She was tremendous, and watching her sketch and talk through ideas was incredible.
