For the food, we were asking for medium well, but the beef was almost well done. Only a little pink inside the beef, generally that's not "medium well". For the service, the staff came to ask us whether it was "okay", we said ok (which means we were overall satisfied with the food and service at that time) and the staff just directly took the plate and fork and knife away. But there was still stake in the plate and we were not finished! We were really shocked by this. Every table has a time of one and a half hour for the dinner and we still had 10-15 minutes left. It is sooooooooo rude that the staff just took away our unfinished food. We complained about this but the staff said he did that everyday and suggested that it was our misunderstanding... The atmosphere was not good. Other customer sitting beside us was stolen when having dinner. We were sitting outside and one customer's phone was stolen by a thief who walking by, pretending to touch the food but actually taking the phone away. None of the staff was in the outside area taking their responsibility for serving or supervising when this kind of things happened. This incident has made us feeling not safe and uncomfortable to have dinner outside the restaurant. It seemed that we were not taken good care of. When you've been eating carbs nonstop on vacation, it's nice to break things up with some protein! I found this spot via Tripadvisor and we loved it. The ribeye was cooked perfectly (medium rare, always) and it was all around a great meal. Their customer service was fantastic. Highly recommend making a reservation, otherwise you'll be waiting inline outside for a walk-in table. read more

We enjoyed our Wagyu steaks here. They were cooked just perfectly, very tender. We also had the tacos for appetizers which were very tasty. Service was good. They fit us in on a busy night. It was a great way to end our trip to Rome. read more

The first thing I want to say is that when we booked our reservations they ask you how long do you plan on staying.. We figured 1 1/2 hours which would give us plenty of time to enjoy our meal and 2 glasses of wine. Our reservation was for 7:30 on which we arrived on time. We were promptly seated at a nice table outside on the sidewalk. We ordered our cocktails while we were looking at the menu. When the waiter brought us our drinks we ordered our food which was approximately at 7:45. My brother ordered the filet mignon, I ordered the gold Ribeye which were both amazing and our friend ordered the pasta which she said was good but a little to salty.. Well at 8: 30 our food finally arrived( 45 minutes after we ordered)( which we did not mind because we were enjoying ourselves) about 8: 45 we asked our waiter for another round of drinks to finish our meal with. Well at 9 pm I'm not sure who he was( assistant manager) came to our table and told us that our time was up and they had other patrons waiting! Wow! We literally had just finished our meal. I explained to him that we would have been done if it didn't take 45 minutes to get our meal in the first place!! I asked for 5 more minutes so we could finish our wine. At that point we saw the assistant manager and manager speak and look over at our table. A few minutes later the manager came over and said " we put the other patrons inside so don't worry " what started out as an amazing dining experience turned into a bad experience. We felt like we had no time to order coffee or dessert. I really wanted to go in and speak to the manager but my brother said just let it go, your on vacation .. I have been in the hospitality business my entire life working at 5 star / 5 diamond resorts and I was just floored on how they handled this. The reason I gave them the 3 stars was because the food was on point... but as far as the rest of the situation it was a total fail. So if you plan on eating here make sure you book your time for the full 2 hour limit... just in case. read more

After a good meal we had the craving for gelato. WOW, it was just a couple doors down from the restaurant we had our meal at. Friendly girl behind the counter quickly served us. The selection was good and the quality of the items was very good. Serving size was above average and prices were comparable to the competition. This location had cakes in the display case for take-away. Two flavors in the medium cup was a perfect compliment to the meal we just had. Enjoy! read more

If you happen by this place in Rome, do not keep going. Stop. And eat something fabulous. I didn't try their gelato, because in spite of the terrible heat I was drawn to their beautiful pastries. I picked a gianduja/orange-stuffed "ciabatta di sfoglia," which you might think of as the dessert version of a calzone. They had others stuffed with ricotta and raspberry or cream or apricot. It was one of the most delicious things I have ever, ever tasted. (And Rome is full of very delicious things.) The bottom had caramelized sugar on it that was crisp and sweet. The top was dusted with powdered sugar and cocoa. The middle was delicious pastry, not too heavy, not too crumbly, filled with half orange marmalade and half gianduja. Pastry is not usually my weakness (whipped cream is another story) but this was worth every single calorie. I giggled when I bit into it, that's how good it was. There's not a lot on Yelp about this place (or many of the great places in Rome) because Italians tend to use TripAdvisor, but this deserves a shout-out. read more

The gelato here is spectacular! We are staying at a vacation rental very close and have already been here twice. The pistachio, bacio, and amarena are all very good. There are a couple of places to sit and eat but no tables. They also have pastries and other desserts, which I haven't tried. read more

If you like your gelato creamy, this place boasts over 20 flavors. Our family stopped in on our last night in Roma since it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. They have the most delicious sweet pastries I have tried in a long, looong time! They have various flavoirs of sfoglia, we tried the raspberry and almonds... Crispy, flavourful, sweet... Just perfect. Their small frollinas are delicious too, my favourite is "lampone" (raspberry again!) read more
