At no point was it made clear that my reservation would be canceled without further notice if the deposit was not immediately paid. Although I signed the contract and believed my move was scheduled, the company canceled my reservation and gave away my moving date because I forgot to submit the $100 deposit. Instead of making a phone call or attempting to contact me directly, they simply sent a text message informing me that my move had been canceled. Considering how aggressively they pursued my business before I signed, I expected at least the same level of communication before canceling my reservation. A quick phone call could have easily resolved the issue. Instead, I was left scrambling to find another moving date and dealing with unnecessary stress.
