Now a few weeks later I get another bill for $40.00. That's $265 more than their estimate. Plus my results are not in My Chart because I was told after-the-fact that Proscan doesn't put results in My Chart. I consider this a bait and switch.

After I show up there and fill out forms for an hour, literally, they come to me and and say it in a whisper that the billing department needs to collect $100 from you and I asked for what and they said they do it because you're using Medicare which is what I told them upfront. The $100 would be in addition to any other fees that they might drum up including x-rays which I never had and I've been treated by many chiropractors successfully. You don't have to be a genius to see what's going on. Anyway I thanked them politely and left. I don't know why doctors just can't be honest with people? I know they try to get them "in the tent" and then rack up the bill and most people don't know what to do other than pay it. They prey on this. Shame on them. Called with serious neck pain and Dr. Rohmiller was booked solid. I was given an appt with Dr. Sowers but saw his PA Michael Browning. I am scheduled for an Ablation on NOV4 and have to wait that long because of insurance and the space of the the one I had previously. MIchael suggested a steroid pack to give me immediate relief and before I even got home, there was a message from Walgreens that I could pick up the script. He said we could also possibly fit in an Epidural if I thought it was necessary. We had to get this handled quickly as I am having shoulder replacement on NOV 7. He listened patiently and explained the xray and was very concerned about getting me some immediate relief. It was a pleasant experience to be listened to and not feel rushed.
