Went to urgent care due to still feeling very ill after being in st elizabeth ER 3days prior when i was short of breath and was diagnosed with uti. I had to request glu strep covid test even though i went in with complaints of ssore throat and cough and drainage. They all came back negatinve so when symptoms persisted i went to urgent care. Stavy was very thourough and retested me and it came back positive for strep i have now had first dose and low grade fever broke. throat much improved. Someone who listened to her patient and went ahead and retested has definately impressed me over st e hospital. Should have gone there first. I came In one Sunday not able to walk on my foot, it was extremely painful and swollen, the nurse took so long to put in my information before I could be seen. When they finally finished I was looked at and had xrays done and was told that by the end of the day or early the next I would have results. It took over 3 and a half days before I was finally told it wasn't broken but by that point I had figured it out. They then proceeded to charge me 150 for a worthless foot brace and when I called the number provided to ask questions about my bill I was met with a voice message saying to leave my number and they would call me back. They never did call me back and just sent the bill in the mail again. Its impossible to pay the bill online and I will not send my credit card through the mail. overall 0/10 experience and I recommend you to deal with whatever is bothering you on your own rather than this "urgent care" making the problem somehow more painful. I should have waited and went to ortho cinci when the opened the next day. read more

UPDATE: Had a friend come in for a pregnancy test and the nurse was VERY RUDE and shoved the results in her hand and RUDELY told her the results then walked away. Somebody really needs to just shut this piece of crap place down. Unsanitary, RUDE STAFF, and people who don't even know what the heck they're doing most likely because this is the only place that will hire them. Who knew that gardening could be hazardous to your health? Well, when I was pregnant, I spent the afternoon pulling weeds in my garden only to discover that my heightened immune system caused me to break out in sores that looked like something from the Middle Ages (ewww, sorry T.M.I.). Apparently, it was an allergic reaction to a plant that wouldn't have bothered me had I not been expecting. My doctor's office was closed, so I drove to Florence Urgent Care. I was seen by an attentive doctor who assured me everything would be okay and my problems were only cosmetic. He gave me a shot of cortisone and I healed up quickly. The rates were reasonable (though my insurance paid for the visit, I didn't get sticker shock when I saw the bill), so I'd recommend Florence Urgent Care for anyone stuck in the same predicament. Not the Medieval skin condition part, the doctor's-office-closed, injury-doesn't-warrant-hospital-visit part. read more

I really loved the nurses and staff here! They made me feel comfortable and truly listened to my symptoms. I do wish the facilities were a bit updated though. This place is a joke filled with doctors that know nothing. I I went in today and the doctor actually asked ME what I think it is. Would I be here if I knew what was wrong. They then send me to the ER with a note saying I needed attention STAT! I get here and I am told they can't without talking to the doc at urgent care. When they do he says I can wait. So STAT does not mean emergency or right now? Awful place with quack doctors. Stay away if you value your life of the lives of your loved ones. They will do nothing to help you here and they will only take your money and lots of it read more

The only time I've ever found myself at urgent care was for migraines. Every time I have gone to this location I have been in and out within 15 minutes. The staff is so incredibly nice and they are very efficient. They continue to impress me and I've recommended this location to several people!! read more

Took my 2 year old in for his first boo boo. Fell and hit a bookshelf on the side of his face, small laceration that needed stitches. 2 trips here in 1 day, the first time the doc glued the cut, but my boy didn't let that last long and had it torn back open. 45 mins later we had him back for stitches. The doc and nurses were amazing with him:). Couldn't have asked for a better "first boo boo" experience with Urgent Care. No doubt we will be back lol! read more

Dr. Roslyn Kocsis is the absolute best asset the Florence urgent care/medical group! She legitimately cares about her patients and will do absolutely ANYTHING she can to help you and your family members with any health issues from minor colds, to addiction withdraw and treatment. It's rare you get a dr who will listen, try very hard to understand and will go above and beyond for her patients. I trust her with my life as well as my family members. From my infant nieces to myself. It's always worth the trip and the wait. These kind of doctors are rare and don't get the credit they deserve! I wouldn't take my kids, family members or myself anywhere else! read more

Called Florence Urgent Care to get a price for two physicals basically a sports physical. I explained all they had to do was check the boxes on the form. Each "physical" was 10 mins. The nurse checked the height, pulse, and lungs. No BP did not check their weight or dexterity, lymph nodes did not check their eyes nose throat. Asked a couple of questions about sports and gave a bill of 90.00 per child. I was quoted 35.00 per physical on the phone and was very specific about what I needed. So I had to pay 180.00 for basically a superficial once over. I called and spoke to the office manager who was very nice and understanding. She said she spoke to the owner a Dr. Vinnaddin? who is the owner of this business? and he refused to refund what I was overcharged. So I will be contacting the medical board for this particular practice. read more

The wait was minimal. The care and expertise were excellent. My husband was short of breath and had a fever for days. Turns out he had walking pneumonia. Three scripts were sent to Kroger pharmacy. My husband also received two shots during visit and started to feel better within hours. We are on vacation but highly recommend this place. read more

I went in for diagnosis and they took a swab. After hearing nothing I called them after 7 days looking for the results. They said someone will look into and call me back. No call back. After 4 or more weeks still no communication from them. Hope I'm not dying. read more

I was visiting my sister and wouldn't you know it if my daughter would get a darn eat infection! Easy in and out less than an hour for the whole paperwork, vitals, doctor visiting. The receptionist was helpful enough to tell me which pharmacy was close to where I was staying, so the perception could be called in. read more

Front desk staff doesn't know which insurance they take. Told me they would not take mine even though it was listed in my providers directory. Had a cut hand and NP said she could glue it. There wasn't any glue in the entire facility. Sent me out with steri-strips. Was bleeding all over by the time I reached my car. Went back in bleeding all over. Said she would have to do stitches. Must have been nervous because she had a student observing. She used the blunt end of the needle and had to grab my skin and pull on the skin and push the needle very hard to get the needle though my skin. I had gotten some numbing, but not enough for that man-handling! By the time I got home, one of the stitches had become untied and pulled out. The next day the 2nd one came out as I was carefully washing my hand. Got a bill for $280. My insurance said I was covered, so I had to call their billing. They said "oh yeah, we take your insurance." Should tell the people that work at the front desk that. Got a corrected bill for $20. Feel like even that is too much for the poor quality of care I received. NOT EVER GOING HERE AGAIN! read more

I was very disapppointed when I went to the Urgent Care last Friday night (Sept. 7, 2012). I arrived a few minutes before 10 and was turned away by their very UNcaring staff, especially the nurse that evening who told me that the admin's computer was just turned off (which made no sense, since she had just been helping the person in front of me). The eye roll I received from the same nurse when I first walked in (with a broken arm!) was also a treat. I will make sure to let everyone I know what kind of service they can receive there when it's not convenient for the staff. Yes, I know it was going on 10 p.m., but at least a bit of caring from supposed care-giving professionals would've been nice. Luckily, the staff at St. E on Houston and Tufway was fabulous and I can't say enough nice things about them. I would go their and skip Florence Urgent Care all together. read more

I'd like to give No Stars. I waited for about an hour since the waiting room was crowded. Then a lady came in with a loudly blaring cell phone playing non stop country music. The staff did not stop her. I had a pressure filled head with a headache and ringing ear. The noise was awful from this persons phone. She seemed to be proud of holding it up so she could hear it. When I went to the staff window I found that I had to wait for six more in front of me. So I mentioned how hard it was to have that person making so much noise. All they could do was apologize for her but they would not stop the situation. So I told them obviously that person is not right in the head and She could be dangerous. I told them I was leaving because of her but that most dr offices have rules about such conduct in the waiting room and they didn't care. I went to Kroger's little clinic and was seen right away. I wish I'd left sooner and I doubt I will ever go back to Urgent care. What's more is Kroger cuts the copay rate in half when you pay. read more

Everytime I come here I have to wait at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Only a couple of caring nurses. But the doctors are all caring and take their time!!! read more
