I wish I'd actually been able to get in to see the doctor at my appointment, I've had a rough summer of trying to get my chronic pain treated by some means that's not just pain meds, but unfortunately the staff made that impossible for me. I showed up 15 minutes early, checked in, completed all the paperwork, and sat down to wait... and wait. After I'd been there nearly an hour the television in the waiting room (which had been tuned to some daytime TV court show that I had mostly managed to ignore but was really surprised they kept on since there was a child in the room and it was initially about meth debts and crack moms abandoning kids) started getting even more severely offensive--in a very homophobic and transphobic direction. I asked the person at the desk if the channel could be changed or the show muted, she attempted to comply, then when the remote didn't work someone else came out from the back and turned it off. Promising... but then another woman (I'm assuming either the office or practice manager, since the other employees seemed to defer to her) came out and turned it back onto the same program and started to walk away with the remote. When I called out to her and asked again if the channel could be changed, she replied, "no, it's channel 28, it's Fox, if you have a problem with what they're playing call channel 28". When I reiterated that the show was offensive, she again told me to call channel 28 if I had a problem, but she wasn't going to change the channel or turn it off because "other patients shouldn't be deprived of the TV". Uh. Ok. So I asked if I should take my business elsewhere, and she said yes. Alright then. I left. tl;dr, this office apparently more highly prioritises keeping their waiting room TV on channel 28 than they do the comfort and care of their patients and ensuring they're not promoting hatred and bigotry to children. Definitely *NOT* GLBTIA friendly either. read more

My appointment was at 11:00, arrived at 11:10 thanks to my gps!! First visit sat there an hour and then was informed my apt needed to be resheduled. I was told he had a surgery in an hour they knew nothing about!! I told them I had driven all the way from Marysville.I was given no apology for wasting my day. I walked out and only heard her ask if I wanted to reshedule? Seriously?? This was my first apt too. I found it very un professional. I'd rather gp someone where they have there act together. read more

Dr. Kedar Deshpande is a very good doctor. He listens to all of your questions and let's you know what his plans are for your care. I have been seeing him since 2005. He has given me the ability to live a somewhat normal life, after having three failed back surgeries. Without him I wouldn't be able to do anything at all. read more

This sucks, unfortunately, I am going to rate this Doctor a one star for my two previous visits (analysis and then a treatment) . This is weird because I have never given a bad review. If I go back for my 3rd visit I will leave another review. Well, I was not numbed for my back injections and they did not help. Although my back records and MRI definitely give a history as what to do next for my back, I feel as if Doctor Kedar Deshpande, M.D. is using me (or rather my insurance) to take me through the cycles, try this first, then on to step 2 if step one is totally useless, then do these injections, then do this then this type of treatment. The doc did not numb me when I got the first injections, lucky for me my back is in such pain, those 5 injections that I was was not pre numbed for did not even bother me too much. LOL There was also no followup to the first round of injections. Of course now we or on to step two, more injections which I guess I have to do so as to eventually get to the real root cause and treatment for my back. :-( I dont really feel comfortable at the office of Kedar Deshpande, M.D.there at eh Spine Center with all the poster boards advertising that he can hypnotize you to lose weight for like $899. Hopefully my future reviews of Kedar Deshpande, M.D. and the Spine Center will have a different flavor to them. read more

I arrived for my 8 am appointment 10 minutes early. While waiting a nurse came out to speak with another patient. In a reflection I could see her gesture to me, and clearly heard her discussing my treatment with the other patient. I'm not particularly sensitive about my personal life, however the disclosure of PHI with other patients is illegal. It's now 9 am and I have informed them that I will continue to wait so I can discuss this PHI breach. This is unprofessional at best, but also illegal. read more

Worst office staff ever. I worked with this office between July 2018 to October 2018. I have NEVER received a call back from the nurse with medical questions. I have paid for paperwork to be filled out - which was filled out incorrectly so it could not be used - and paid for extremely important paperwork which has, apparently, simply not been filled out. And no return calls when I have left messages inquiring about it. The office manager/ CEO also will not return calls. Did I mention 2 hour waits in exam rooms for a back patient?? It is worth waiting to be seen by a different practice! read more

I do not believe the other reviews. He is an excellent doctor, follows the correct treatment regimens and does treatment by the book. If the injection does NOT require local anesthetic when it is done, then there is usually a reason for that and ignoring that reason, will give a false negative or a false positive result. He could perhaps have explained it a little better, but my guess is that the people leaving these reviews did not get what they wanted !! namely drugs. That also is not their fault, since the referring doctors send patients to a "pain doctor " with the expectations of getting pain pills. No good pain doctor wants to write pain pills. They want to take people off pain pills while getting their pain better. read more

I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder that lasted for months and had me in constant pain. I went to Dr. Deshpande for this problem initially. They scheduled me right in and the pain resolved with the 1st steroid injection. Dr. Deshpande is very knowledgable and I have had successful injections on my knee so far. My sacral injections were not successful but the initial injections are for diagnostic purposes so we move on from here. I noticed another review saying that the doc does all these steps before doing what is needed. I can tell you, after working with insurance companies, he has to do that per insurance. He cannot jump to a major treatment without showing how the initial or diagnostic treatments do or don't help. His staff is all nice and down to earth. I had previously seen Dr. Patel in Marysville who was also good but had a rude staff so I changed. I trust Dr. Deshpande completely. read more

Before being put into contact with Dr. Deshpande at Orthopaedic & Spine Center I had been treated by many other pain management doctors around Columbus. There was a huge difference with Orthopaedic & Spine Center. I was no longer spending half of my day or more at the doctor's office. For office visits I have been in and out within an hour. The most important difference is that when I came to Dr. Deshpande I was a mess. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, which I had endured for years. After he implanted 2 spinal cord stimulators I was completely turned around. I had my life back, which I didn't even think was possible. I had been on Social Security Disability for years and now I was able to get off of that and return to work full time and once again had a real sense of worth and a welcome return to normalcy. I continue to treat with Orthopaedic & Spine Center on an ongoing basis and they keep me functioning. For this I am eternally grateful! There are issues from time to time regarding some staff being unfamiliar with the concept of customer service and there is a serious difficulty in trying to reach someone in their office when issues arise. However, the man at the center of this, Dr. Kedar Deshpande, is nothing short of a miracle worker. If you have chronic pain issues and you feel like your life is over, doen't give up and give Dr. Deshpande's office a call. He may be able to turn your life around as well. Good Luck! read more

My back has been 'stiff' for a about a year and a half. I finally decided to see a back doctor. After 6 visits, 2 injections and 3 doctors (2 left the practice within a month), nothing has changed. Definitely would NOT recommend!! read more

Would not recommend this practice to anyone. In our experience, the Dr. himself is fine, it is the administrative staff. They are so unorganized and appears uncaring for the most part. They have goofed up appointments, not called the patient back, forgot to give the patient valium before a procedure and also ran out of valium in the office. How in the world does a pain practice run out of valium to help calm patients during intense spinal procedures. My husband almost fainted after a spinal injection and they were ready to wheel him out to me to drive home, not caring that he was not ready or able to leave the recovery room. The main Dr should have major concerns that his administrative staff are bringing down the practice. read more

Dr. Henry is a capable physician. His staff however, is less than capable. The nurses are rude. When you call with a question or issue (which is part of the process of being a physician's office) they take over a week to get back to you. I understand being busy, that is part of life. Some days (this past Monday) they decide not to answer the phone at all, even when you are specifically told to expect your answer/ a call from them that day. Fridays they leave at 3pm, whether or not they have followed up with patients. I recommend strongly finding another physician/practice due to the lack of care given by support staff. read more

I would not take me dogs here. Very un- caring ... Never returns calls or emails. Called was put on hold for 1/2 hour, called back same thing. I am in so much pain.. No wonder they rate 82, going to a Dr. Who rates 98... I had so many injections for lower back, I'm worse, can hardly walk. Don't go here. read more

BUYER BEWARE on this place!!!!! This Doctor if I can call him that is only in it for the $$$$$!!! Very unprofessional and does not care. As a retired Army soldier with 25 years active duty I take professionalism very serious. I have had 2 unsuccessful back surgeries and have a stimulator implant for chronic pain. The first thing he did was made fun of where the stimulator was located gave me 3 sets of injections, none of which worked. Gave me an injection that I'm not sure what it was but it also did nothing to help and then told me it was a test of some sort which he never advised me he was doing a test. He thru out options of an RFA procedure the way I understand it, is they kill the nerve and a Drug Delivery Therapy basically a drug pump, I have had no success with anything so why would I do any of this stuff. The only thing I can say is he never really pushed the procedures but they were always mentioned. He did have a PA who seemed like he cared about my pain and had my best interest in mind, because believe me as I write this I have so much pain there are no words. I went back for my monthly visit and he had fired everybody the entire staff from receptionist to the PA who cared with the exception of maybe one or two people. I could not believe it. I do blame myself for going back as long as I did, I should have noticed the red flag when he made fun of where the stimulator was located but I didn't listen to my instinct. I could go on and on about this place, so I'll close with this if you are having any kind of back, neck or pain problems and your family doctor refers you to this place "DO NOT GO!" read more
