I can't see there's computers there and I can't see anything who I'm talking to.... just had a knee replacement when you come in to sign in. I thought I was gonna get a clipboard with a form to complete for first time visit. There a little computer right next to the door exit I was terrified someone was gonna come rushing in while I'm standing in my walker and signing this form on the computer. They have it in a very bad spot! They said they were working on it two weeks later it's still there. It took me a while the first time because the sun's glaring in my eyes mind you it's a glass door. & a long window above the door I asked the manager Angie how long is this going to take for me to fill out this form, she said it shouldn't take that long. I said I'm not asking that I'm asking how long is it going to take? Give me minutes she told me as soon as I stop talking I should be done. She was just completely rude. I told I keep repeating myself and asking you what I can't hear with the noise, the music the people talking all right there she said take about 3- 5 minutes. I said that's what I was asking cause I'm trying to hurry before someone comes through that door. I don't want to get knocked over. Second time I went in. I stood there waiting after about two minutes she says are you waiting for me? I try to look at her, but I can't see like I said you can't see anyone from all the computers or whatever they have on that desk, I said oh yeah, there's no one else here she goes well I didn't know if you were on the phone or with somebody else I told her you are very sarcastic asking me if I'm waiting for someone...obviously yes I was waiting for her last time. I spoke when I first came in. She told me wait. She was on the phone. I didn't want to bother her cause she was typing something from what I seen. then she tells me I don't speak, but she can't help me. I just told her Wow you are very rude! Anyways, I go in go to the Therapist that is calling me. We're doing therapy on me while I'm laying down on my back on the therapy bed He tells me he's gonna put the therapy wedge pillow underneath my ankles leg so I raised my legs up and he just forced it in there real fast. I told her hold on we met. That's my bad knee. I just got replaced!! I told him take it easy you hurt my knee that gave me a sharp pain! Then I know they are with like two people at a time so they're trying to rush it so they switched me with another guy and I was doing my exercise and then when I was there, I couldn't do no more cause my knee hurt it far from that guy banging into it. I said I couldn't do any more while I was waiting. I seen him with another patient so I was waiting there for like five minutes. Thought he was done.

Terrible and highly unprofessional experience at Marketplace Physical Therapy in Chino Hills…read more I had a 3:00 p.m. appointment and received a message asking me to check in early at 2:35 p.m. I completed the check-in on my phone and received confirmation. When I arrived around 3:10 p.m., the front-desk employee, A.H , was speaking with an elderly patient, so I respectfully waited. I also tried the kiosk, which confirmed that I was already checked in. Meanwhile, a therapy aide called me inside and instructed me to begin warming up. Before I could start, Amaya called me back and demanded to know whether I had checked in. When I explained that I had already checked in electronically and that a staff member had called me inside, she spoke to me in an extremely rude, confrontational, and disrespectful manner. She repeatedly accused me of arriving after the cutoff time and questioned how I went inside "without checking in," even though their own kiosk confirmed my check-in and their employee had called me back. I understand that I arrived approximately 10 minutes after my appointment time, but that does not justify being spoken to aggressively or treated as though I had done something dishonest. The situation could have been handled calmly and professionally. I asked to speak with a manager, but none was available. A PTA named (L)spoke with me, but initially seemed more focused on defending the staff and repeating that I was late than listening to what had actually happened. He eventually apologized. I also requested the name of the aide who called me inside, but the staff refused to provide it. This office needs better communication, customer-service training, and accountability--especially at the front desk. Patients should be treated with basic dignity and respect, even when there is a scheduling disagreement. I am requesting that management investigate this incident and contact me directly.

Patients should be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect, especially during their first interaction with a medical office.
