I grabbed the aluminum bar with bare hands to pull up but my shoulder was hurting and held on too long. I had a business trip to Macon as a Global Market Manager and went on the trip. I noticed in Atlanta my fingers were very swollen and turning purple. I knew I had to go to the emergency room or things could get worse. I went to Atrium in Warmers Robbins and they told me I need to go to Doctors in Augusta. They set everything up and I arrived and had surgery the next day by Dr. Homesombath. The nurses and care was beyond excellent. Dr. Homesombath save my fingers. They are beautiful now. I am a guitar player and needed my fingers. Thank you to everyone for such beautiful care. Mel

Got up and was in the bathroom for at least 15 minutes. Alarm still going off and no one helped me! I called the nurse's station again to ask for someone to turn it off ans they still haven't come. They need to hire more help. Haven't seen a cna or nurse in over 3 hours. My family has helped me as much as they could today but they had to leave. Care is terrible. I can hear the staff at the nurses station laughing and yet thr bed alarm is still going off. I feel sorry for the people who can't talk or have no family. Skin issues have to be a problem here and getting any type of assistance seems impossible

Yesterday I went to Southern Vanity in order to receive my Botox shots. I was advised that the…read moreBotox was on 'back order' when the PA finally got to me in the room and if that was known to me when I first checked in, I would have waited for it to come in. So, I was giving the alternative to try jeuveau. I should have known better because of how I was asking the PA questions and she was very skeptical and hesitant with her answers that I should not have done it. But I tried it anyway thinking maybe it could be better. Afterwards, I talked to my sister who stated that it sounded really weird that Botox, of all things, would be on "backorder" and that she felt that I was pretty much bamboozled by them trying to push a new product because of the almighty dollar. As soon as she said it, I felt the same!! I was also told this was going to work faster than even the Botox. And it has done absolutely nothing!! I was able to see results within hours from Botox but not with this stuff. Nothing!! I don't suggest it. I'm 50 and only do Botox for the crease between my eyes. So, I have lost out on $165 for something that was suggested by the PA with her not even really knowing the effects of it because she even said she hasn't used it and that one's on me. Lesson learned. 3 stars bc I seriously feel now that I was nothing but a simple sale and now I'm stuck for 3 months of not being able to actually get Botox. Needless to say, the crease between my eyes seems to be more pissed off at this point. Maria, medical assistant, is awesomeness though!!! So 5 STARS for her!!! But then again, she had to know there was no Botox too.... Hmmmm.

I can't say enough good things about the care I've gotten there. They're friendly, very thorough, motivating and extremely knowledgeable. They can explain the things they're recommending and the science behind it so anyone can understand it. I walk in there and feel like I'm with friends. It's clean, comfortable, and you have a true one on one experience. I'll be going to this Athletico location for all my future physical therapy needs, and recommend you do as well!

My daughter is back in school and spiked a fever on Friday. My pregnant wife panicked and so I took…read moremy kiddo here to get tested for covid. Negative, thank goodness. They test later than the one in Grovetown and we were happy to hear that. They allowed me to wait in the car with my daughter and called us for the test and then again when the room was ready. The doctor was patient and didn't rush examining my daughter. Only reason for not 5 stars is because they took her temp under her armpit and claimed she had no fever and was reading normal. I got her home and my wife checked and it was 99.5 so while not 101, it's still elevated. If anything, I'd come back here again.

Many friends recommended MedNow so I drove out of my way to go there just for them to be closed because of the holiday. They need to have a specialized voicemail indicating they're closed (they have a generic one that doesn't indicate if they are closed at the moment or just busy/not answering) so I did call and didn't talk to a person, and Google said they were open, so they also need to update Google hours for holidays. I'm not sure I'll ever make that drive again when there are closer options for me that had better communication about their holiday hours. I'm sure MedNow offers good care but I unfortunately didn't get to experience it and it was such an annoying situation I don't plan to try them again.
