This was actually my second knee replacement with Dr. Bramlett--he performed my right knee replacement back in 2009, and I had such a great experience that I knew I wanted to return to him. After my first surgery, I was back to work within just three weeks, and my family and friends were amazed at how quickly I recovered. This time was no different. My recent surgery went smoothly with no issues at all. I was walking without assistance after just one week, driving again within three weeks, and back to my normal activities after five weeks. Dr. Bramlett is an excellent surgeon, and his staff is just as wonderful--professional, supportive, and caring throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him to anyone considering knee replacement surgery.

At my very first appointment, he said it was time for a Total Knee Replacement and I am so grateful! The other Orthos weren't even long long at my knees, just pumping steroids into my knees to 'get me through', every three months, which was ultimately weakening my bones and making my knock knees worse. Dr. Bramlett is a solutions and action type of guy - he wanted to HELP me, instead of just pass me off like the others. What I like best about Dr. Bramlett is his direct approach and communication, no dancing around the problem, but doing everything he can so I get BETTER and get my life back! I'm two weeks out from my TKR, and I am already walking without a walker - and I am so pleased with his skill and ability. This man has done over 30,000 joint replacements, which is more important to me than having a doctor who just placates me - I wanted a Surgeon who can help fix my legs, so I can get back to living LIFE. That is what Dr. B has done for me, and I'm ready for the second leg, knowing that I have one of the BEST Surgeons in the business!

I injured my ankle in October 2021. I went to urgent care and was told it was just a sprain, before…read moreseeing my normal nurse practitioner, getting an MRI, and finding out that I needed surgery(had two complete tears of my ATFL and my CFL). I was talking to the athletic trainer at my school about it and he said "Might as well have the best in the country operating on you" when he asked if I'd like to have my surgery done at Andrews. Me and my parents did research on Dr. Waldrop. I was nervous to have surgery done until meeting Dr. Waldrop. The first visit with him was November 19, 2021 and he confirmed that surgery would be necessary to fix my ankle. He answered all the questions that my mom had about surgery and made sure to tell us what he would be doing procedure wise. We got the surgery scheduled for 10 days after that. So on November 29, I had my surgery and after having surgery and going through physical therapy, I haven't had anymore injuries to my right ankle(Thank you Dr. Waldrop!!). Now, I've seen him probably 5 or 6 times since surgery. I just saw him last month August 2022, for a follow up appointment, but unfortunately had to let him know that I was still having some problems with my ankle. Dr. Waldrop had me moved to a room where he could do an x-ray to check the stability of my ankle from where he fixed it and he told me that my ankle stability was good. After talking to him more about what was going on, he talked to me and my parents about letting him put a shot in my ankle. I'm not a big fan of shots and normally refuse to get a shot, but I trust Dr. Waldrop, so when he said the shot was probably the best thing for me, I decided to let him give me the shot. The shot hasn't helped as much as I had hoped it would, so when I go back to see him, I'm hoping that we can find out for sure what is wrong with my ankle. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Waldrop and his team if you have to get ankle surgery. He really does care about his patients and how they feel about their injuries. I personally would not want to see anyone else to have my ankle treated. I'm very glad that Dr. Waldrop was the one to do my surgery because having the surgery has improved my quality of life greatly. If you want a surgeon that takes the time to talk to patients, explain your injury, and take the time to explain what can be done to treat it, Dr. Waldrop is the best person to go see!
