When my Doctor referred me here 30 years ago, I was amazed as to how my walking became pain free. I soon realised that when your foot alignment is wrong, this causes, ankle alignment problems which causes knee alignment problems and finally lower back problems. Don't go anywhere else. Jim has given my life better quality. I buy 2 pair every year ans although my insurance company only covers half of the bill, I would gladly pay the whole bill to obtain the comfort that Jim provided. Yesterday I went to see Tim and he was extreamily knowlageable about both footwear and feet. When I told Tim about the injurys I have he was ensuring and he was very eagger and willing to work around my handy caps. I had a a really hard time looking for a 14 2E extra deep shoe. I have tryed on up to 6E with no luck because the top of my foot was too low. I will be back to custom Orthopedic for my next pair of shoes

Incompetent business…read more I went to this shop on September 4, 2019 to find a pair of therapeutic shoes along with the orthotics themselves. These were to be paid through my insurance, which is where I usually send the request to, but the orthopedist said that they prefer to send it, so I had given the electronic contact information for my insurance to him. On September 18th, I phoned my insurance company to ask why I haven't received a notice for approval. According to them, they hadn't received the request from Custom Orthopedic. I immediately contacted Custom Orthopedic and the orthopedist claimed to have sent the request himself and that the insurance company is mistaken. Once again I sent the contact information directly to the orthopedist in addition to the contact information for the insurance supervisor. The orthopedist said that he would phone back the following Friday. He never did. After phoning Custom Orthopedic on September 21, I learned that the request to the insurance company was sent by fax, not email. This suggests that the fax could've gone anywhere since I hadn't given them the fax number that my insurance uses for this purpose. The person that I had spoken to didn't seem to care about the situation and directed my concern to the owner who would not be available until the following Monday. I've decided that if I have to wait another month for orthotics, I may as well get them through a different orthopedist.

He's super friendly and so are all the staff…read more I've never had any trouble getting an appointment, even for the same day, I've been squeezed in when it was urgent. The clinic is clean and has lots available in the waiting area such as magazines and some toys for kids. Wait times are never too long. Like any good doctor,I believe, Dr. Galas remembers his patients names, stories, etc even after four to six weeks. The adjustments are quick but affective. He can always seem to tell what's wrong by the way I sit/stand/walk, but I always vocalize what's issuing me at the time too. I leave here feeling 100% better. I would recommend Dr. Galas to anyone I know and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else!
