After more than 4 paint jobs with this company, I have finally had enough and decided to move on to…read moresomeone else. There's nothing wrong with the paint crew itself: they are hard working and professional. Unfortunately, they are not properly informed by the owner who conveniently forgets to tell them to paint areas included in the estimates, even after collecting the money for the job. The problem is with the owner Frank who, either because of old age or because of too much partying, is neglectful, forgetful and scatter-brained, to the point where four times, I had to bring back the crew because Frank (and no one else) forgot to tell them to do a segment that was included in the contract. And so, I recorded our conversation and took pictures and films of the areas to do last summer only to...come back and find that Frank forgot once again to tell the crew to do a whole side of the house that was left unpainted. Frank called it "miscommunication" even after I showed evidence it was included in our agreement, and said "we'll do it for sure "next time". Problem is, I already paid for a job that was incomplete and, because of Frank's lack of professionalism and consistency, I decided there won't be a "next time", because I'm sure he'll forget again this time and blame it on too much wine or not enough sleep. And what's worse is the insistence to do what was supposed to be done another time when I decide to do another segment, and he'll "throw this last one in too". I now completely veer away from this company, will never use again, and totally advise against using by ANYONE as too many mistakes, too many recalls and too many times did he simply "forget" to tell his crew to do one or other side, or other segment, one or other fascia, one corner etc... I'd rather avoid the headache and the argument and go somewhere else, even though he still owes me for a corner that was included in the previous estimate and bill, that was paid for, but was never completed. I would definitely not recommend this company, end of story. Frank does however, get an A+ at being a BS artist and salesman, not so at being consistent and professional.

We just had our whole house repainted on the inside. All the walls, ceilings, baseboards, kitchen cupboards, built ins, and all the doors. Ortiz painting service was OUTSTANDING!! We hired Saul and his crew to paint approximately 24 interior doors and one exterior door for our home. They did excellent prep work and even fixed the damaged wood trim and door jamb on one of our doors. They did a wonderful job covering the floors and our household items and with cleanup as well.They were easy to work with and were conscientious every step of the way given that we have two cats who had to be confined during the process. Based on our conversations and the positive reviews I had read, I was looking forward to hiring him for the job. Unfortunately, my experience changed when it came time for the on-site estimate. We agreed on a date and time for him to visit the property, but he did not show up and did not contact me beforehand. Afterward, I attempted to reach him by phone and through Yelp messages but received no response. I understand that schedules change and unexpected circumstances arise. However, a simple phone call, text message, or message through Yelp would have been appreciated and demonstrated professionalism. The lack of communication was disappointing and ultimately caused me to reconsider moving forward with the company. While my initial interactions were positive, reliability and communication are important factors when hiring a contractor, and unfortunately my experience fell short in those areas.

The first time I hired Tye and his crew, they spent four days painting my home. Their pricing was very competitive, they stayed on budget and on schedule, and the quality of their work was exceptional. What really impressed me was the care they took with my home. They meticulously protected my furniture, artwork, and personal belongings, and there wasn't a single paint splatter left behind. They communicated every step of the way and were happy to collaborate with me on ideas to make sure everything turned out exactly as I envisioned. Unfortunately, after having new flooring installed, the flooring company damaged several of my freshly painted walls. They pulled paint off where they had taped over artwork and left dings and scuffs throughout the house. I immediately called Tye, and he and his crew came back to repair all of the damage. Once again, they treated my home with incredible care and respect, did flawless touch-up work, and charged a very fair and reasonable price. It was such a relief knowing I could count on them to restore everything perfectly. It's rare to find a contractor who is honest, dependable, communicates well, takes pride in their work, and genuinely cares about their customers. Tye and his team check every one of those boxes. I would highly recommend Nobleman Painting & Decorating for interior painting, exterior painting, cabinet refinishing or repainting, and any painting project where quality and professionalism matter.
