The dock area is nice, shaded and we had a decent breeze. Dogs are allowed, even though it's not advertised. We like the country music and the volume was just right. Our waitress arrived fairly quickly, our drinks and food were delivered in a timely manner. I would rate this restaurant a 4, but my smash burger was just okay. And, normally a smash burger is a thin patty or two fried with crispy sides. This one was two normal sized patties on top of each other (double burger). I would not order it again. My husband did enjoy his cheese burger, though. The fries were battered and good. I would return if in the area, but i'd try something else on the menu. Only one acknowledged me even though I stood at the counter finding out whether we had to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. One of the reasons I stood at the counter is because there weren't many people in there and i'm almost positive that we would have never been acknowledged because I was standing there and wasn't even acknowledged right away. There was one lady that finally came to take my order. After that there was the bartender, who also happened to be our waitress as well. Here I am thinking that she was the only one there, since it was pretty slow. But that wasn't the truth. My husband had to get up to pay the bill since no one came back to the table for him to pay. He found out that there were two other waitresses on the other side of the establishment that should have been working. But they weren't. They weren't helping us like they should have been. The food portions were very small and without seasoning. No one ever came to check on us during our dining experience until we had finished our meal. Our table never got cleared off until the end, because I am assuming that this waitress that did finally wait on us, who was also the bartender, was just too busy working at the bar to come back. Someone did try to help us at the end but it was too little, too late. We still left a tip though. The macaroni and cheese had very little flavor and my husband's was cold. My mashed potatoes and gravy was also cold. They need to step their game up. I'm also disappointed in those small buffalo chicken egg rolls as well. They were extremely small for the price. I've had much larger egg rolls than that for the price that we paid. For almost ten dollars, they should have been much larger. Reply to the so called owner.... What you just stated isn't true. And it's more of a reason why I will never come back! There's no reason for me to look for anything to complain about. Don't tell me that I give what I get. The other thing you need to do is go get rid of those flies in there. It only takes a moment to get a fly strip. We should have taken our food to go.
