Came here on Saturday night for dinner. It was a beautiful day out and the seating area/bar on the water was filled especially since there was live music! Being in the sun all day had us craving Pina Coladas which was yummy and refreshing. For entree's we got the 'Steak Churrassco Tacos' and the 'Seafood Roll' - both come with a side. The tacos only come with 2 but they're a decent size so it can fill you up. The Seafood roll was stuffed with crab/lobster/shrimp and was also very filling. Both delicious. The launch is an awesome little spot in Labelle, FL. It has an outside bar near the water with some table seating and also a small room for inside dining. Their food was delicious, however a bit pricy. We had a great server who recommended a few cocktails and they were delicious as well. Would definitely come back. read more

We wanted to drive and find somewhere different to eat. Based on the reviews and location on the water, we chose The Launch. It is a bit difficult to find, as the sign points you into a small lot behind a hotel. The actual restaurant is small, but the outside seating and bar are on a river dock . The dock area is nice, shaded and we had a decent breeze. Dogs are allowed, even though it's not advertised. We like the country music and the volume was just right. Our waitress arrived fairly quickly, our drinks and food were delivered in a timely manner. I would rate this restaurant a 4, but my smash burger was just okay. And, normally a smash burger is a thin patty or two fried with crispy sides. This one was two normal sized patties on top of each other (double burger). I would not order it again. My husband did enjoy his cheese burger, though. The fries were battered and good. I would return if in the area, but i'd try something else on the menu. What a fun vibe and great place! Our server, Julie, recommended seafood nachos. They were an excellent starter. We watched the sunset and fast cigarette boats pull in before we moved to the main course. Grouper and blackened Mahi mahi were both excellent. We really enjoyed the island rice and beans. Cool spot sit out by the water watch boats go down the river. They have a lot of selections for food items. I had the burgers couple days ago it was good. Just had the seafood nachos they weren't good. They had cold cheese and then sour cream on top of that. They were really just kind of a mess and not very flavorful. If you do get them get the sour cream on the side and make sure the cheese is hot. It was just kind of a gelatinous mess honestly. Also the service was decent but should be better with limited people here. It's probably 3.5 rounded up to 4 star rather than giving a 3. read more

So i saw this place being talked about heavy on Facebook and said well its Friday time to put it to the test. The place did not disappoint! FYI The restaurant is located in the Hendry County Boat dock parking lot. Its the old Miller Bait Shop. We started with the fire cracker shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp portions were huge! The plate was perfect, sauce was delicious! Just the right amount of spicy to enjoy the flavors! We then ordered the Philly cheesesteak and the fish and chips. Both plates were excellent. Hot and full Of flavor. They were paired with seasoned fries. The Philly was great the steak was nice and chopped and the cheese was melting with every bite. Fish was haddock battered and fried. Nice white meat not to flaky no over whelming fish taste. Service was great. Our server Katherine provided excellent attention to our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall this is a great addition to the small town of Labelle. Happy to have a new place to visit that has awesome food and a very fun atmosphere. read more

The Launch just got better! We just had the best lunch on the new outdoor pavilion. The breeze, the boats, the perfect way for us to start our week. Here's what we ordered: Fish Dip - perfectly smokey with club crackers (add hot sauce for the perfect bite) Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna - the cucumber wasabi and ponzu sauce is (insert fire emoji) soooo good! Captains Tacos - I chose Mahi and it did not disappoint. Drizzled some of the jalapeño aioli on top (chefs kiss). Grouper Sandwich - blackened so good! Recommended sides ***fries and coleslaw*** I'm pretty picky about my coleslaw and the Launch gets it right. Fries are always fresh and perfectly seasoned. We were driving through town today and for lunch, we decided on The Launch. What a great spot! The restaurant sits by the water and the food is very good. I decided to go with the shrimp, fries and slaw, a classic combo, made even better by the location. Hubs had the fish sandwich with a veggie side. The shrimp was lightly fried and seasoned just right. When was the last time I had an orchid with a meal, I'm guessing the Caribbean or maybe Hawaii. Anyway, it was a nice touch. The fries and slaw were a perfect side to the shrimp. Even hubs, who can be fussy, wasn't complaining today. This restaurant would also be a fun place to have dinner, the menu had a lot of good dishes. Just what LaBelle needs! We've been a few times since it opened and it has yet to disappoint us. The swordfish special was from a fresh, local catch. Cooked perfectly. Great portions for the price. Nice to see a fish option that I typically don't see on menus, especially here in Hendry Co. The pizzas are easily the best you will find in LaBelle. No skimping on the toppings. Great dough and sauce that won't give you heartburn afterwards. Service is always great, and the view overlooks the docks on the Caloosahatchee River. read more

Food is not worth the price. My salmon was overly cooked! Very crispy and dry. The rice was typical, my toddler loved the steamed broccoli.

Been to this restaurant in the past , last night was a very bad night. Ordered a steak salad , told they were out of salad and steak. Ordered a cheeseburger, told they were out of French fries , the only side dish was mash potatoes, who has mashed potatoes with a cheeseburger? Ordered a pasta dish , five minutes later told they were out of pasta. Final order , very simple dish. Celery and ranch , that's it nothing else I have given up by this point. Went tonight. Waited 20 min for our drinks. By time they came back from down below where the booze is there's were bugs in mine. The shrimp a friend got from the appetizer was overcooked. I ordered the steak teriyaki appetizer that came with rice. Portion was okay but was not hot. You have one job. Bring food hot to a table!!! Another order was the fried fish which was rubbery. It takes a lot (good or bad) for me to write a review, but our experience on Saturday was just that "a lot". The short version of this review is: it took 45 minutes for us to get our first drink, the table next to us was never cleaned and all of their trash fell in the river, the food arrived at the table cold and we would have wanted more drink but we could never order them because our server was walking around yelling on the phone or texting. Let me start by saying we've been here a few times, it's a great spot, drinks are always on point the food is great... Saturday we came by boat, there were 3 adults and 2 kids. I walked to the bar to ask if there was a hostess or if we could find a table, she indicated we could sit ourselves. We moved two tables together and sat down. It took 10 minutes for someone to come and ask me if we had been helped I said we hadn't and she asked if I wanted menus, I said yes... after she walked away and didn't return for 20 minutes we got menus at the bar, while my bf was getting the menus she walked up to him and said we had to order at the table (ma'am we are trying!!!) anyways it took us 45 minutes (this isn't an exaggeration) to get our drinks, and two hours to eat our meal because I server was constantly on her phone, in plain sight, complaining to everyone, and looking very displeased that she had to help us. The food came to the table after obviously sitting in the kitchen for a while, the trash (plastic cups, straws, napkins, plastic sauce dishes kept blowing into the river!!!!! from the table next to us (who left as we were getting seated) and we tried to tidy everything to stop more plastic falling in the water and when we pointed it out to her she complained, carried two plates away and left everything there... I guess this is a note for the owners or Mariah herself: the service industry isn't for everyone, and it's definitely not for you! read more

The Launch is off the beaten path and doesn't look like much. Indoor seating is limited to high-top tables and bar stools; we opted for the screen porch, which isn't very big, but turned out well. It might have been a problem if the weather weren't just right. But on the plus side, service was very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The dishes looked as good as they tasted, and would be suitable to a much more elegant setting. We don't live in the area, but are very likely to go back next time we visit. read more
