Very rarely does a restaurant supersede my expectations. Open air vibe, impeccable service by Jenna and the best pot roast sandwich you will ever eat can change hearts and minds. Now. I understand why this place is always busy. I've been to Ireland where the food is mediocre at best and this is Ireland on steroids. Live Irish music, food made with care and love that you can see and taste makes this place one of a kind special. And that casual vibe that I personally crave. So when you drive by this establishment and see how many people patronize it, know there's a reason.. It is what Marci calls " dining perfection ".

My wife and I stopped for lunch on the patio on a beautiful January afternoon. My wife perused their very extensive beer menu and finally landed on a tasty German offering We got in our lunch orders and the food came out extremely quickly. My wife got the summer salad, adding chicken, and I got the Rowdy Birds Wrap. All of our food was very tasty and fresh. Service was very friendly and good. The server did have a lot of tables outside to take care of. They do have indoor and outdoor table seating, and indoor and outdoor bar seating.

Stayed near by for work. Stopped by on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. Had great indoor and outdoor seating, staff extremely friendly, great beers on tap, and good food. Had a Cobb salad that was excellent and coworker had a burger that he devoured. Would definitely recommend coming here if in the area

Sometimes you don't need a place to wow you with food--you need a place that nails the essentials: cold beer, good tunes, and a staff that actually takes care of you. Enter McGregor's Public House. This is our go-to spot when we want to unwind with some live music and a solid brew. And speaking of brews, the beer selection here is legit. Whatever you're in the mood for, they've probably got it on tap or in a can. Pair that with the rotating lineup of live acts, and you've got yourself an evening. Service? Consistently on point. Friendly, attentive, no complaints. They keep the drinks flowing and the vibes right. Now, let's talk food. Honestly? We don't really come here to eat. We've tried a few things over the years and they're... fine. Decent. Nothing that blows your mind. But here's the thing--there are so many incredible restaurants in the area that McGregor's doesn't need to be a food destination for us. That's not why we're here. We're here for the atmosphere. The music. The beer. The good times. The Verdict: McGregor's Public House knows exactly what it is a great spot to grab drinks, catch some live music, and enjoy solid service in a laid-back setting. We're not coming for dinner, but we are coming back. Four stars for doing what it does best.

Always great service and an amazing selection of beers and good food options as well. Dog friendly. Indoor/outdoor covered seating. This time we just had a few beers/ciders but the brie sandwich is a favorite for vegetarian options.

Fun spot to sit outside for lunch. The beer cheese soup is excellent, but you definitely need a bread with it. Servers are all very friendly. Root beer was awesome.

Excellent! Food and service was spot on. The servers worked as a team. Anyone passing you stopped and asked if you needed anything (and took away dishes). Portions were much larger than I expected. Had to take home food in a box. Note to self: Happy hour ends a 6pm. Live music started around 6:30ish. Will definitely return.

This was our first time at McGregor's House. It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside on the lovely appointed patio. All the servers were very friendly and told us to take our time. The music began at 2:00 exactly. The food was quite good and interesting.we shared the Whiskey Piggies, barbecue pork sliders. Then I had the Cobb Salad that was filled with Rasher, almonds, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, marinated peppers and served with a delicious home made blue cheese dressing. Dave had the pot roast encased in like a hand held pot pie. I only had one complaint. I am not a small person and all the chairs are metal with small seats. Quite uncomfortable to sit on for a long time. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

We treasure McGregor Public House because of its authentic vibe, super helpful waitstaff, delicious food, and, oh yeah, amazing beer selection. From Miller Lite to Houblon Chouffe, if they don't have it, no place within 150 miles won't either.

Great food, atmosphere, beer selection, and service. Stopped in here with my mom for lunch on a beautiful day, so we took advantage of the large outdoor patio. We had the Hummus A Tune, the When in Rome Wrap, and the Nice & Toastie, along with a Magner's cider draft and a Destihl Dill Pickle Sour Beer. Lots of tvs, plus quizzo and other events throughout the week. Will definitely be back soon!

Food was tasty, hot and served appropriately in time. Many more options than their competitors. Our afternoon started with "whiskey piggie" sliders that were yummy and a black & tan. Judy had a dinner sized Cobb salad while I selected their dinner plate pot roast. Good choices. Outdoor seating was breezy & at a gorgeous 81degree. There was plenty of seating in or on the patio which is dog friendly. The Music projects well even inside. March is Irish and the music was our purpose in coming Nice mix of retired couples and younger. McGregor's is family friendly with two gates to contain loose kids or dogs. There is Immediate convenient parking which makes it better than most eateries. We had multiple servers who helped & provided immediate assistance. No waiting All in all a nice spring afternoon We are already planning our next activity here.

We had two sandwiches that our waitress recommended. Lucky Luciano and the cousin from Killarney. Both were absolutely delicious. We started with the Irish Soda bread with butter, honey and jelly. Smithwick and Guinness on draft plus plenty more.

The staff, from the hostesses to the waiters, are always kind, professional, and do a great job. I truly have no complaints about the restaurant itself. I'm writing this review because of a very strange experience we had that I feel compelled to share. We had a reservation for my mom's birthday. When we arrived, our table wasn't quite ready because the previous guests were still sitting there after paying their bill. This was absolutely not the restaurant's fault, and we had no issue waiting while the table was being cleared. Another couple came in and was in the same situation, also waiting. There was one open booth, and the host let us know it was reserved by request. Totally fine, no one had an issue with that. Then a third couple arrived, and that booth was assigned to them. While I was simply talking to my mom, the woman from that couple suddenly got in my face and yelled, "We live here!!!" and then walked off to the table. She came off very angry and mean, which completely caught me off guard, as well as the other couple waiting; they were also very taken back. It was such bizarre behavior. The situation had nothing to do with tourists, snowbirds, or who "lives here." We also live here year-round, had a reservation, and weren't upset or making faces, we were just waiting patiently. The entire interaction was confusing and unnecessary. To be clear, this review has nothing to do with the restaurant, which we love and will continue to return to. This is more of a message to that woman, in the off chance she reads this: that was one of the strangest and most uncomfortable interactions I've ever had in a restaurant, and it made absolutely no sense. Maybe don't do that next time.
