The treatment plans were pretty similar, as were the prices, but Dr. Polan immediately put my daughter at ease, and me too as he explained in detail exactly the issues of her care. And that hasn't changed, every step of the way he's been accessible if we have any questions and always spends the time to answer them thoroughly. It's hard to figure out how he never seems to rush anyone, but he is always on time! We've never waited more than a couple minutes for our appt. A lot of credit has to be given to his staff, esp Regina and Peter who handle scheduling and are always a joy to work with. This practice really has the nicest staff anywhere! Several times I had to tell her the suction wasn't set right as I was consistently gagging from the excessive saliva in my mouth, as well as getting splashed in my face. Her response, the water pressure was too high. When polishing my teeth, she caught my hair in the machine and I had to pull it to make her stop. Each time I expressed my concerns she responded rudely, even told me I have a problem. The dentist was polite and expressed his apologies. My mouth still hurts a day later. I know discomfort from cleaning is normal, however I should not feel pain.
