I arrived here with a party of 4 on a Tuesday at 5pm. We were seated immediately and noticed about 8 other tables occupied when we arrived. The first thing we noticed was the volume. Since our kids were super sensitive to noise, it was a bit intense. They have a super loud water fountain that you can hear wherever you are seated and they also have music playing, which is mostly drowned out by the sound of the water. In terms of food, they have a ton of stuff and we all definitely ate way too much! It's your typical Chinese food options, but the cleanliness here is way beyond what I have seen elsewhere. So many servers all over immediately cleaning as they go. The food is also hot and replenished quickly. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a buffet. And yes, all those plates pictures were just mine. Don't you dare judge me either.

This place is mostly for tourists. It's located in that area. The outside is not much to look at. They have a fountain inside with no fish and a fog machine but it smelled of chlorine. It was not too busy for early dinner. The staff were nice. From the pictures I had higher expectations. Considering I've been to a few other buffets in the area this one is the most expensive and it certainly was not the best. I was disappointed. They have a hibachi which is great if that's your thing but I don't use them so personally that doesn't matter to me. I saw there was a line for it and the people looked annoyed with nowhere to stand but in the way of other food. The selection is bad. Sushi was very weak. It was low quality and looked like amateurs were making it. Fish quality looked bad too. For hot dishes there just didn't seem like any good selections. Soup was ok. Lots of hot food seemed kind of cold. Some of the dishes just seemed cooked wrong or too long or were too old. They need to work on food quality and change some menu items because some things were strange and didn't belong. Dessert was horrible. Sheet cake junk tasted like plastic and weird stale cookie. Their "cheesecake" is a lie and mostly cheap cake. Barely any ice cream cups and when I got one it had been melted and refrozen which was gross. So I didn't eat too much and left feeling unsatisfied.

Hit the spot for buffet, party of 10 on a Friday night we were able to get seated quickly. Busy place and parking lot. Orlando area so yes bit crowded but not bad. Tables were promptly cleaned. Service was good they refilled and cleared table timely. Food - no issues typical Chinese buffet flare. Had some sushi and hibachi grill as well.

I do not usually write a review of buffets but Osaka deserves recognition for the value of your money with the wide selection of dishes they offer. My wife and I were looking for sushi without having to go to a sushi bar. Osaka offered a wide variety but nothing really fancy sushi choices. A pho bar and hibachi are available but I never had the chance to try them as I was already full with the dishes available. They had a designated dessert counter. Ambience was more sophisticated than your regular buffet. This is certainly a place we would return during our next Orlando vacation.

My parents were excited to try a new buffet in the area after I found the 10% off coupon in the Enjoy Florida brochure. I arrived as they opened on a Wednesday at 11:30 am and was able to get a great parking spot near the front door. Staff sat us in the table near the food which was helpful for my disabled mom. We enjoyed all the shrimp available. My parents tried the sushi which they liked. My favorites were the seaweed salad by the sushi, fresh mango at the fruit section, crab Rangoon, and the pork gyoza. My mom liked the sticky rice in bamboo leaf wrappers. I also enjoyed my chocolate ice cream. Staff was attentive and polite. My mom liked it so much she was asking about coming back tomorrow. The price is right and will give the other buffets in the area a run for their money!

Pretty good buffet, many options. There's a good selection of food options. The food was pretty good for a buffet. I really liked the salt and pepper shrimp. I wished there were better dessert options. I didn't try the pho but was told it was okay. The cooked food section had a little of everything and a good seafood section. The staff was okay but really good about picking up dirty plates from the table. We made reservations for a large party 1 week ago but apparently when we got there they did not have our reservation. That was completely disappointing and upsetting. Fortunately, they had the space to quickly accommodate our large party. Issue was resolved within 10 minutes.

Honestly, I was very pleasantly surprised by this buffet. Sometimes buffets can be sketchy, but I didn't feel that way about Osaka Bay Buffet. The food seemed to be fresh and rotated quickly. There were quite a few people eating there, which is always a good sign because it shows people trust it. The variety of food was great. The price was also fantastic for the offerings. My only real complaint was that it took a decent amount of time after we finished to get the server's attention to ask for the bill. I'm not a local but I do visit relatively frequently and I will definitely be coming back again.

Osaka Bay Asian Buffet has a huge selection, sushi bar with lots of choices and on the weekend AYCE crab legs. The food looks great but I found some foods to be lacking in flavor. This restaurant is located just west of Disney World on 192. Across the street is the building with a huge mermaid and lighthouse. They are in a shopping center so plenty of parking. I arrived at 8 pm on a Sunday night and they were busy. The host said he only could seat me in a back in a room mostly for large parties. It was furthest from the buffet and I had to walk through 2 rooms to get to the buffet. Seating is basic black chairs at black tables. They have a huge sushi island with many kinds of sushi and a couple types of sashimi and nigiri. They also have edamame, seaweed salad and fake krab seafood salad. Expansive buffets of your typical Asian food including large prawns and crawdads. They have a Mongolian Bbq where you can select ingredients including a fresh egg and the chef will cook to order. There always seemed to be a queue to have the chef prepare your selection. On the weekends they have snow crab legs, oysters and huge peel and eat shrimp. They charge extra on the weekends because they serve crab legs. This same station has a queue for made to order pho and also sliced and sauced steak. They have a small dessert bar but a huge fruit bar with little cups of mousse and also a freezer with individual cups of soft serve type ice cream flavors. There is no salad bar but I did see potato salad etc. My plan going in was to focus on the crab legs/shrimp and sushi then get a little fruit for dessert. It felt a little like the movie the Truman Show. Everything looked so good but the taste and flavor was lacking. The crab legs had been cooked then chilled again before serving. Only the claws would work with the cracker. The skinny legs were too bendable so the cracker would not work. They did have drawn butter but even that did not infuse the crab with flavor. I don't eat oysters but the peel and eat shrimp were good. It looked like they were slicing strip steak that was medium rare. Then they lathered it with some kind of sauce. To control portions this is dished up by the pho guys. It looked exactly how I like my steak. He did not slice it against the grain or it was a cheaper cut because it was tough and chewy. The sushi for the most part was good. Much better than most sushi on buffets and there was a generous selection. There were three guys cranking out trays of sushi so it was replenished quickly. I thought the poke like salmon and tuna cubes were ok. I still prefer Sushi Yama for AYCE but this is a different scenario. I tried the egg drop soup and the pho. Egg drop soup was good. The beef pho broth had a flavor I didn't like as well as three weird disks floating on the top of the pho. I quickly put that aside. The fruit bar had all the normal melon choices, banana, grapes and fresh cherries with pits. They had little cups of strawberry or mint mousse. It was delightful. The service was almost non existent. He brought me water and took away plates but not promptly. I had to ask 3 times for crab crackers. I noticed that the large parties got more attention probably because the tip was locked in. He never asked if I needed anything or refills. He slid the check wordlessly on my table. He sent a different waiter over to run my credit card. She held out the handheld device for me to select a tip. The choices were 15, 20 and 25. I felt intimidated as she scowled at me. The bathrooms were clean but the potty to people ratio is messed up. The restaurant can hold way over 100 people but they have 2 or 3 stalls and a handicap one. A family could fill up the restroom. This is a restaurant where you could easily walk away stuffed. The disappointment for me is that like many buffets, it is quantity over quality. I have included a price chart including the weekend premium price list. They have a strange notation that if you are an adult, adult pricing applies regardless of your height. Small stature people do not get a break! Also I am not sure if they have a time limit but if you get crab legs you could easily exceed 2 hours. For me this is been there, done that.

Food selection was very good. We enjoyed most of our food. The hibachi was my favorite as well as the donuts and sushi. The waiter was attentive but also watchful. Overall for the lunch price I was happy about trying this out for my first time. Love the prepackaged ice cream and never had a buffet where pho was served. I can see the prices going up in the future the more people come to eat here.

1st here at OSAKA and it went well..Friday night not so busy ...the ambiance was great all was bright and clean ..today's hit music playing over the speakers.. About the food we loved making our own hibachi it was fresh and hot and tons of choices to mix with it...the food on the buffet was great with tons of choices..the shrimps were big and juice ...only down fall was it was warm and when you went back to the table it was starting to get cold..the HIBACHI STAYED HOT and was great ! The sushi selections were AWESOME so many choices and found a few new ones to try .$23.99 for all you can eat with no pressure or rushing. Servers were very attentive on picking up plates and refilling water. We will be back ..

We have gone to this buffet a few times. Everything is fresh and delicious with one exception. They have snow crab legs on the weekends and they use margarine vs butter. That's nasty. Everything else is constantly fresh. The desserts are typical mass produced buffet items. Meh. With all the seafood choices, the hibachi and sushi, who cares about dessert. It's very clean too.

This evening I wanted to try out a new Japanese buffet in the Maingate area and Osaka Bay Buffet popped up in my recommendations. The fish cuts were very fresh and there were interesting and different rolls available like surf and turf with steak pieces on top. I tried making a hibachi plate and appreciated the number of different vegetables available - they can also be used to make pho at the same bar. The pre-prepared entrees were fine; with a standout being short ribs on the bone, but otherwise are the typical buffet items. The staff was very friendly and helpful and dining room was relatively comfortable with high wall booths and clean. I didn't care for some large LED screens casting a lot of light and distraction across the dining room, but sitting away from them helped me personally.

We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Disney Springs so we decided to come here for a late dinner. One of the best decisions made here. We did a late night walk through the shopping center and landed here around 9:50 pm. It was pretty late and we worried there would be no seats but we were seated promptly. The establishment was very ambient, cozy, and well furnished. I liked the warm, glowing atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was extremely polite and took our order quite soon. We were starving after a long day but the food came out in around 20ish minutes which wasn't too bad. The serving sizes were quite huge. We didn't expect this much food for two portions. For $34 per plate, the dishes were large and came with a large helping of sides. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and juicy. They originally wanted to serve the food quickly/more fresh so they served a chicken thigh to me after on a second plate. They also forgot my substitution of Mac n cheese for mash potatoes so I got a free helping of mash which was sweet. The pickled cucumber was light and fresh which tasted great with the heavier chicken. The potatoes were a little heavy and I wish came with gravy, but still delicious. I really loved the Mac n cheese and finished that up. The chicken steak was also delicious with the grits but a little too salty. Wish they added the grits to the side for me to dip as it became a little too much at times. It was better to eat it with a side of potatoes to balance the flavor. The broccolini was sautéed perfectly and delicious, could eat a whole plate of those alone. The biscuits weren't bad but tasted better eaten with the potatoes. The food was a little heavy but so so good. We had to take half of the food to our hotel and ate it the next day for dinner as it was way too much food for one meal. Even after microwaving it, the food was just as delicious and flavorful. We spent about $80 but had so much food leftover. An expensive dinner, but everything tasted amazing. Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

Good idea on a Friday night because it certainly was busy. When you step in you feel like you're entering a tasteful log lodge with rustic charm. Voices are a bit noisy inside on a busy night. When our server, Millie, learned it'd be 8 separate checks for our table, we received an eye-roll. However, at the conclusion of our meal I completely understood why. She had to carry over a cumbersome number of POS devices for our individual payments. Millie did provide excellent service, though. She was personable and attentive. As majority first-time guests, she gave us a free chips & dip appetizer. Initially candy bacon had run out, but after expressing our disappointment, Ryan the manager, ensured some materialized. We all loved it! The food does take a while because it's made from scratch, as promised. The presentation and taste are top-notch. Everyone was very pleased, each of us impressed with the level of care we experienced and the delicious cuisine.
