We decided to eat here and chose to sit outside. It was a little steamy, but the dining room inside was much too dark for my taste, so the patio was the better choice. We ordered the rib special, which was very good, along with the ahi tuna appetizer that I really enjoyed. My husband paired his ribs with a draft Samuel Adams Lager, while I stuck with a Diet Coke. Our server, Lisa B., was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, which we appreciated. One thing my husband especially liked was all the lobster-themed décor throughout the restaurant. He's from New England, so it definitely reminded him of home. Overall, this is a solid choice with generous portions, good food, and friendly service. We'd be happy to return when the weather is cooler. I just think a lot of places don't have great alternatives to eating outside when it is so hot! read more

As a Boston native, my husband is always on the lookout for a good place to catch Patriots games, so naturally Celebration Town Tavern has become one of our go-to spots during football season. The atmosphere is lively on game days, and it's easy to see why Patriots fans flock here. One menu item I highly recommend is the lobster roll--it's one of the better ones I've had in Florida and definitely worth ordering. The servers have always been attentive and friendly, even when the restaurant is busy. The only downside is the location right in the heart of Celebration. Plentiful patio and indoor seating with an outside bar surrounded with bar seats. You can watch sports or enjoy conversations with your fellow mates. Can get pretty busy during the lunch or dinner time so, reservation is encouraged. However, we stopped by for a late lunch around 2 and we were escorted to our outdoor table immediately. Staff: 4.5 Stars Our server, Bridgette, was friendly, professional and easy to talk to. She assisted us with some suggestions. She made sure our drinks were topped off and was observant on when to retrieve the empty plates.. Food: 3.5 - 4 Stars We ordered the following: 1. Fried Clam strip - pint: 4 Stars The clam strips were hot, fresh, tender, juicy, and lightly coated. The battered's color was golden. Perfectly deep fried. Now the pint size is good for one person but we shared the plate, so the appetizer just wetted our appetites. I recommend to get the quart size as a "shareable" item. 2. Fish and Chips - large 3.75 Stars The scrod (haddock or cod), depending which side of the ocean you are on, was tendered, juicy and had a golden color. It has a slight crunch from the batter and the fish were flakey and tasted wonderful. Not too fishy. The fries were seasoned and lightly batter and the potatoes were meaty however not as crunchy which I prefer. Still good though. 3. Blacked Mahi-Mahi sandwich w fires - 3.75 Stars Mahi-mahi was lightly seasoned and grilled. The tomatoes, lettuce and brioche bun were fresh. The fish itself was tendered and juicy. 4. Lobster Roll w fries - 3.75 Stars The lobster was sweet and tender, and the butter toasted bread held the lobster meat. However, we missed the celery in the dressing. 5. Scallop Scampi- 4 Stars A healthy portion of linguine noodles, butter, wine, garlic and the most tender and succulent scallops you ever tasted. This was by far the best dish we ordered! Now, with that said, it is garlic forward, so YOU garlic LOVERS, will enjoy it; not so much for vampires or if you don't want to kiss your significant other. Hahaha Only thing missing was a piece of bread to scooped up the butter and wine broth. Definitely satisfying and will have left overs. 6. The OG of New England Clam Chowder - 3.75 Stars A healthy- bowl size You can get a cup for a few dollars less but why? It is our go-to order but today's serving wasn't as good as the ones in the past. It was lacking the Worcestershire sauce which gives it more an umami flavor to the dish. However, we ate half of it and save the rest for later. The clams and potatoes were tender and the creamy broth felt comforting; even in 80 degree weather. Note: Desserts are homemade. Stopped in to my favorite place for a lunch on Tuesday, around 11am ish? Was seated right away, inside in the nice ac of course. Was greeted by our server, forgot her name but she's from England lol anyways drinks ordered and delivered quickly started off with the go to onion rings fresh outta the fryer. Main course I had the grilled chicken sandwhich which was possibly the best one I've had and came with fries. Overall great, quick lunch and I will be back yet again very soon! read more

Stopped in on a Saturday about 430pm as a family of 5 without reservations, as they do not accept them. There was plenty of outside casual seating but chose to sit inside as the weather was warm. The waiter was friendly, quick to welcome us, talk about off menu specials and start with drinks. We had Buffalo Shrimp and NE Clam Chowder (one of the best) for apps. The hubs had an unexpected surgery while we're here on vacation so my friend and I walked down to Celebration from the hospital for lunch and a walk. This tavern is right on the main drag of this picturesque town. They have a large covered patio with a bar and a large indoor space as well. You can sit and watch the town and people walking by. The menu is Boston-esque. Lots of lobster, clam chowdah, etc. Extensive options for anyone's palate. There are GF options as well. My friend and I each had a mug of the clam chowder ($8), which is available on most weekdays and split the Cape Cobb Salad and added lobster ($28). I was a little hesitant about the dressing which was a creamy mango chutney, but it turned out to be mild and not too sweet, a glorified thousand island, I'd say. The clam chowder was delicious, very creamy with lots of clams. The salad was also delicious. Maybe 4oz lobster, bacon bits, blue cheese, tomatoes, avocado and eggs. It came with a cornbread muffin, which I broke up and sprinkled on top (recommend!). All in all, a solid experience. read more

I've been here before and the food is always outstanding. I started with the clam chowda which was very creamy and buttery(?) tasting. It has a decent amount of clams. It is one of the best soups I keep coming back to. I also ordered the fried ispwich clam bellies. Very good especially with lemon. The waitress recommended cocktail sauce but I got tartar sauce. I think the cocktail sauce would have gone better with the bellies. I know it tasted better with the fresh lemon. I barely touched the tartar sauce because it was too much with the clams. The lemon was a perfect pairing. They were mostly tender bellies as well. I got two sides with the meal which included the baked beans. I thought they were good and they came out in a celebration baked bean container. Nice touch. Can't forget the Ceasar Salad. That was done well. The iceberg lettuce and cold plate along with strips of cheese really makes this taste as it should. Now all of this is more expensive than it used to be but it is competitive and very good. You definitely get what you pay for here taste wise. Debbie Rockefeller was my waitress and she was always very friendly. I got there when there wasn't a lot of people. When I left, there were more people than when I got there. It has both inside and outside seating. Can seat bigger groups it looks like. Overall this is great place for food. One of my favorite places to go to in celebration. The hot lobster roll is so full of meat and cook cooked to a perfect temp. When you're there, you also have to get the clam chowder. Some of the best chowder in the state of Florida. Staff is always super friendly and always gives you. Good recommendations of some of the new stuff coming. Only problem is sometimes they run out of food. I stopped on here this past Tuesday night at 6 PM and they already ran out of steam clams. read more

We were looking for something with a more "local" feel than the commercial restaurants surrounding Disney and Celebration Town Tavern did not disappoint! I met a friend for lunch on a Friday. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a open concept bar area that is covered but still open to the outside. The entire place was a little warm, but it is the middle of summer. On Fridays, they have lobster chowder as their soup and I got a bowl of that and it was tasty once I put in some hot sauce. I enjoyed the chicken salad with grilled chicken, lettuce, candy pecans, and tortilla strips. My friend had the baked mahi-mahi along with the Aji tuna appetizer. She had smashed sweet potatoes as one of her sides and enjoyed them very much. If you are from the Northeast, this menu is very heavily geared towards you. Especially if you're from Boston or Massachusetts. They can take groups. It's good for families. There is free parking across the street and a visitors lot. Service is quick and friendly. The menu features Boston favorites and other "tavern fare". Nobody looked at the menu very long because we all knew what we wanted. A lobster roll and one of the 99 beers they offer. I got the maine lobster roll (cold) while the rest of the table ordered the hot lobster roll. Majority said it's up there with the some of the best they've had. My cold one was pretty good as well. The lobster was plentiful. Piled high enough to be the worthy of the lobster cost! The atmosphere is a typical "tavern" but the patio is especially nice on a good weather day. Were had the Buffalo lobster dip it was $16 and was basically a tiny bowl with not much lobster. Celebration Town Tavern never ceases to amaze and impress me. We went last night for our annual tradition when my mother-in-law comes to town, and this year was especially meaningful. Not only was my sister-in-law with us, but it was also our son's first Christmas celebration -- and what better place to celebrate than Celebration Town Tavern? The town was buzzing thanks to the Christmas event happening outside -- the tree, train rides, meeting Santa, and snoap falling from the sky creating that perfect holiday vibe. It was busy, but for very good reason. This restaurant truly has it all: Boston-themed menu with both land and sea options Indoor and outdoor seating Yelp waitlist (my favorite feature) We joined the waitlist through Yelp and waited about an hour, which honestly wasn't bad at all considering the crowds. We were seated outside and loved being right in the middle of all the holiday energy. Our waitress was fun, bubbly, and clearly handling a full section, which we completely understood. Despite how busy it was, service was great and the food was delicious. We also learned about their rewards program -- say less. We signed up immediately. I love a good rewards program, and you even get a physical card! In the long run, it works out to roughly 10% back every time you dine. You earn 1 point for every $2 spent, which can be redeemed for specialty meals and dining experiences. I went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago because anytime I am in Celebration, this place is always packed. The interior lighting was dim and has a lot of themed Boston items I believe. We ordered a variety of items. For the appetizer, i ordered the clam chowder and my dad ordered the teriyaki wings. Both were good... especially the wings. I had the seafood combo, my mom had the lobster tail, my dad ordered the fish and chips and my husband had the steak medallions. Everyone enjoyed their food and would recommend trying this place. I took my boyfriend out for Father's Day expecting a nice experience, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. Our server came across as rude and condescending, and when we asked for recommendations, it seemed like an inconvenience rather than part of their job. To make matters worse, the food did not live up to expectations at all--especially considering we spent about $180 for just two people. The quality simply didn't match the price. Throughout the entire visit, the manager never checked on our table, which added to the feeling that customer service is not a priority at this restaurant. Gluten Free review from someone with celiac: Came to Celebration Town with family with the open mind to eat anywhere that we could find GF options. Tavern seemed to have a very thorough menu with clearly marked GF options, so we opted to come here. They were very accommodating as we had 2 little ones in our party. I ordered the lobster tail and let our server Andres know about my gluten allergy and he took the note and proceeded to let me know which sides were GF. I went with the coleslaw and the baked potato. The lobster tail was cooked to perfection. My mom had the lazy lobster casserole and she absolutely loved it. Our table also ordered the calamari and the pot pie, and everyone walked away happily. For dessert the table shared the key lime pie (I did not mind not partaking as I wanted ice cream from the shop down the street), and they were super happy to have ordered it and savored every bite. First I want to say that I am being generous with my four star review. Four of us went for lunch yesterday and there was things we loved and others not so much. We loved the ambiance and waitstaff! On our food, since there were four of us, our reviews were all a bit different. We started with the onion rings. Five star, absolutely delicious and if you like onion rings, you won't be disappointed. I ordered the calamari appetizer. It was good but not great. I found the calamari to be a bit greasy for my taste. My husband had a bowl of clam chowder. His review was it was good, but he has had better because it was light on the clams. My sister had the Cobb salad with chicken. She said the salad itself was delicious but the chicken was tough to the point it was hard to cut. She gave the salad 5 stars but knocked it down to 3 due to the chicken. Her friend ordered the breakfast burger which came with fries. The burger was on the weekend brunch menu which you can also order a special adult beverage. He got the bloody jack. The burger came with egg and bacon on top as well as cheese. 1. FOOD: The food is usually good, fresh, and served temp appropriate; however, the time between ordering and being served has lengthened. My wife and I eat at Town Tavern twice weekly. Last week on Thursday, we waited at least twenty minutes for our meal, only then being told they "lost" the order due to a computer error. 2. SERVICE: Recently, many, if not all of the servers seem new. They're friendly, but I miss familiar faces--no explanation. 3. AMBIANCE: Much the same; however, the perimeter booths on the outside where we like to sit, are abominably uncomfortable. Sitting on rock-hard boards can be back-numbing (perhaps, the goal to keep the patrons from dawdling too long. 4. The hostesses and hosts are friendly and delightful. We enjoy be greeted as loyal patrons. Venessa is wonderful. 5. THE BAD: The check includes "suggested tips," no longer an uncommon annoyance adopted by many restaurants. Bad enough. What's outrageous is the calculation of the tip based on an amount the includes the sales tax. You may notice that I don't see any edible tax on the plate or in my drink. I recalculate, the tab, but find the practice deceitful. I also HATE the server coming to the table with the little electronic device that has the patron submit payment, while having to make the corrected calculation of the tab. read more
